Taylor Swift covers the latest issue of Billboard. In promotion of her new album – set to break every chart record out there on October 22 – the super, duper star talks to the magazine about a number of topics related to ” Red .” To wit: Its theme : It’s all the different ways that you have to say goodbye to someone. When you’re experiencing the ups and downs of a relationship, especially when you’re 22 years old, they all strike you different ways. Every different kind of missing someone, every kind of loss – it all sounds different to me. When you are missing someone, time seems to move slower and when I’m falling in love with someone, time seems to be moving faster. So I think, because time seems to move so slow when I’m sad, that’s why I spend so much time writing songs about it. It seems like I have more hours in the day. Its ballads : “Sad Beautiful Tragic” is really close to my heart. I remember it was after a show and I was on the bus thinking about this relationship that ended months and months before. The feeling wasn’t sadness and anger or those things anymore. It was wistful loss. And so I just got my guitar and I hit on the fact that I was thinking in terms of rhyming; I rhymed magic with tragic, changed a few things and ended it with what a sad beautiful tragic love affair. I wanted to tell the story in terms of a cloudy recollection of what went wrong. It’s kind of the murky gray, looking back on something you can’t change or get back. On being 22 years old : [It has] been my favorite year of my life. I like all the possibilities of how you’re still learning, but you know enough. You still know nothing, but you know that you know nothing. You’re old enough to start planning your life, but you’re young enough to know there are so many unanswered questions. That brings about a carefree feeling that is sort of based on indecision and fear and a the same time letting lose. Being 22 has taught me so much.
My name is Amie and I am very excited about my very 1st Bieber Experience! It started when I got the tickets I begged my parents to buy me some. I was supposed to go to the San Antonio, TX show but I couldn’t find any good seats, so I ended up going to Glendale, AZ. I bought two tickets and was not sure of who I would take with me. At first I was going to go with my dad, but later decided to give the ticket to my sister and my niece. She is under two so she could get in for free. I signed up on BieberFever for the meet and greet contest and just wished for the best! The day before the concert someone stole my phone which was depressing. My day lightened up when I saw an email saying I had won the meet and greets! I could not believe I was going to finally meet my idol. We drove up to Arizona the day of the concert, it was only 5 hours away. I got in our hotel room and was so excited to get ready. Finally we got our wristbands to meet Justin. My sister was asking if she could just go in and let her daughter take a picture because she had one wristband. At first they would only let one of them, but eventually they let them both. I was so excited for my niece to meet Justin all because of me! While standing in line I saw Kenny. Kenny then said “Next” and I lost it by then. I heard Justin say, “Hey how you doing?” with the brightest smile ever! He took my waist and gave me a hug. I was standing right beside him and I did not say one word..I was frozen! I think the only thing I said was “hey.” I saw Fredo in the back taking pictures and just watching everyone. I felt chills all over my body and my eyes got watery. They took the picture and Justin said, “Bye hope you enjoy the show” and than I passed right by Fredo and touched his hand. As soon as I left the curtains, I cried my eyes out and came back to life! I was laughing and crying at the same time. I could not believe I had just met my inspiration! I looked at my sister and continued to cry while hugging her. When I saw my dad in the distance I ran to him and just cried another big river. I have never felt so emotional inside. We than went to the concert and everything and just amazing! I was so grateful that I went to the show were his OLLG was Avalanna . It was very special and I cried through the whole song to be honest. After the show I ran to the side where Justin’s bus was. I waited for the longest time and I saw him wave from inside when he was leaving. After waiting a little bit longer, to my surprise Dan and his wife came out. We all yelled and screamed and sang the Famous “DAN KANTER SONG.” Then his wife started dancing haha. He looked back and said, “I love you guys” and waved! it felt so amazing. After that we only saw his backup dancers and still cheered for them. It was the best day of my life other than seeing him for the first time ever on November 5 2010. (BTW, I’m the one in pink that’s not holding the baby, that’s my sister). I want to thank Justin for everything. I will always reach any goal I want in life. Justin if I meet you again, I will talk this time, I was just so nervous. Also my parents for this amazing experience, I love them! -@AmieeBieberr Read the rest here: My name is Amie and I am very excited about my very 1st Bieber…
Pop superstar Kylie Minogue may be an unlikely figure to appear as a tragic figure in French filmmaker Leos Carax’s surreal Holy Motors , but given the numerous twists and turns the Australian-born singer has had, first gaining notoriety in what now seems like a former life as a soap star, the ever adventurous performer is always seeking out the new. So, Holy Motors is a perfect pit-stop. Describing this sensually unnerving and stimulating adventure is simply boarding a fast train to hopelessness, it’s a day-long ride through Carax’s imagination. But to give some sense of the film, which had its U.S. debut at the recent New York Film Festival and is slowly heading into theatrical release this week, Minogue is one character in a series of “appointments” for Monsieur Oscar. In her moment, she gets to do what legions of her fans love – she sings. But even for a crooning vet like Kylie, even that was a new experience. “Leos is enigmatic and in your face. A very different energy that I liked and was intrigued by,” Minogue told ML during the recent New York Film Festival. “I was looking to do acting, but I wasn’t knocking on doors. It was kind of unexpected.” Minogue met the publicity-averse (or is he?) filmmaker through French filmmaker-actress Claire Denis. A pop sensation whose stardom has been compared to Madonna on the world stage, she has taken a comparatively less high profile role in her adulthood acting gigs. She played the green fairy in Moulin Rouge in 2000 and in Anthony D’Souza’s Blue in 2009. And, she will next be seen in indie filmmaker Bradley Rust Gray’s Jack and Diane . “I was living in NYC and trying to stay a year in Williamsburg living anonymously,” she said. “I worked on Bradley’s film which was great. I’ve been drawn to independent films. It’s a great yin to the yang of other things that I do. They satisfy a different part of my being, so I feel a bit more whole by this experience. My role [in Holy Motors ] small, but in my life it’s turned out to be a big thing and it’s expanding.” In Holy Motors , Monsieur Oscar (Denis Lavant) journeys from one role to the next, accompanied by Céline (Edith Scob), the woman driving an American-style limo that transports him through Paris. He’s a “conscientious assassin,” going from one place to the next going from dizzying highs to humbling lows in pursuit of a mysterious driving force and the women and spirits of past lives. Minogue’s turn with Monsieur Oscar actually takes the pop-star full circle so to speak. While she said she wanted to take on the project “stripping Kylie away” – meaning, letting go of her normally over-the-top celebrity, Carax had her do something she is best known for – singing. And of course she did it with gusto, though even Carax took her to a sphere that she found unusual, which is quite a feat for someone who regularly packs in huge stadiums of fans for her live shows. “He had me sing the part live, not pre-recorded in a studio,” said Minogue. “The big challenge with that was performing it so it sounded nice, but not perform it . I’ve never done that before. Normally, you have to do certain things with your face when you’re singing, but I couldn’t here. It was a new place to go.” Minogue showed up on set minus the trappings of her fame, which was just fine enough for her. She said she wanted to be a canvas for Carax, though she appreciated his emotional support. “Usually it’s like a big plane going over cities and everything is big and flashing around and then I had to touch down to land and be in Leos’ world. I was in a holding pattern for those days I [shot the film]. Of course I was sick like a dog. I had to go to that place as a character. As a director, he only said what I needed to hear and he’s very precise with his words and is gentle. But he held my hand through it.” The film’s release has also given Minogue a chance to not be at the center of adulation. And though she’s never too far from her notoriety, Holy Motor ‘ premiere in Cannes and subsequent debuts at NYFF allowed her to step back and take it all in outside the center, which she described as a learning experience. “This French thing was very surreal for me,” she said. “I was pretty shell-shocked when I saw it at the premiere in Cannes. There was a bit of polite applause at first, then it grew and grew and there was a standing ovation. All that energy was hitting Leos. I got some of the over-spill, but that experience taught me something. It is usually going toward me and you can be blindsided when you have people telling you everything’s amazing. And you wonder, ‘was it?’ And that experience enlightened me to step away and be involved in it, but see it differently. I said to myself, ‘don’t forget that moment.'” But Minogue’s stint on the movie sidelines may not be a long one. Aside from the roll out of Holy Motors and the pending Jack and Diane , she does not rule out a full-on studio experience down the road. “I would work in a Hollywood movie. They’re different beasts but I’m not anything if I’m not malleable. I’m open to opportunity – definitely. Going forward, I’m happy to slow the [direction] I’ve been going and bring in some different energy and experiences. We’ll see, this has opened a lot of doors for me.”
I had the time of my life and my dream came true. There are so many words to describe my time, and I cannot even put a price tag on it. People have been so negative on social media websites. I have been getting message after message of people telling me that Justin is never going to remember me, so why try. All I see on Twitter is comments like, “A dollar for everything @nattbetancourt talks about Justin Bieber” “Shut up @nattbetancourt” “Justin doesn’t even care about you”. I was told to kill myself; I even got comments with a girl emoticon with a gun to it’s head. I had a message that stated that I wasn’t “pretty enough” to represent Saskatoon to meet Justin saying: “I was the only girl who represented Saskaton to Justin and that it should of been somebody hot”. This wasn’t all of it either. People are so insecure that they find the need to take it out on other people who are happy. I have been a victim of bullying my entire life. To all of you who are waiting to meet Justin, DO NOT give up. I promise you that you will meet him one day! To those that have, words can’t describe how happy I am for you. To those that have been bullied, stand strong and keep your head up. You are not alone. Those people will not get nearly as far as you will in life. I want to make other people aware of stuff like this. I have already had news stations in Saskatoon contact to me to hear my story, and hear all the offensive words that have been said all because I accomplished a dream. Once I spoke out about bullying, I got even worse things said to me. I want people to hear my story, both the Justin Bieber experience and the bullying experience and I want people to know that it is okay to speak out about it . I want to prove the haters wrong. Maybe one day Justin will tweet and acknowledge the jersey I got for him so I can show everybody that he did remember me . Basically I want to wrap this up by saying chase your dreams, they will come true. Never let ANYBODY try and take that special moment away from you. Good luck beliebers, your day will come! Feel free to tweet me and see more pictures -@nattbetancourt Original post: I had the time of my life and my dream came true. There are so…
It’s a sad day for Skinema lovers all over the world as we bid farewell to sexploitation legend Sylvia Kristel . A beauty queen in her native Holland, Sylvia first became famous for her fantastically nude role as the original Emmanuelle (1974). One of the first erotic films to be shown in mainstream theaters, Emmanuelle was a massive success that went on to play in one Parisian cinema for a staggering 11 years. She returned for the sequels Emmanuelle 2 (1975), Good-bye, Emmanuelle (1977), and Emmanuelle IV (1984). As the slinky, supple embodiment of ’80s Euro eroticism, Sylvia went on to star as the legendary seductress Mata Hari (1985) and as a sexually adventurous housewife in Lady Chatterley’s Lover (1981). She then brought her heaving hills to Hollywood for parts in the skin classics Private Lessons (1981) and Private School (1983), although personal problems eventually brought her career to a standstill. Sylvia was diagnosed with cancer this past July, and her agent Marieke Verharen tells the AFP news agency that “” she died during the night during her sleep. ” Good-bye, Emmanuelle. You will be missed. Celebrate the life and career of Mr. Skin Hall-of-Famer Sylvia Kristel right here at MrSkin.com
I’m Danyelle and I’m 15 years old. On October 9/12, I was siting in my socials class and decided to check my email on my phone. I was so surprised when I looked in my inbox and saw a message from BieberFever. I thought it was just a message regarding my membership but actually it was a message that made my dream come true of meeting Justin! It was stated with: “Congratulations you’re officially invited to attend the photo meet & greet on October 10, 2012 at Rogers Arena.” I was freaking out in class and immediately called my sister and mom. I actually thought that my dream of meeting my idol wouldn’t happen this year. I tried everything with the help of my family and friends. We joined all the contests, messaging the crew, skipping school during the pre-sale and general sale, asking each one of my mom’s friends, asked people working at the arena and we even asked our bank for help. I was getting so upset that I wouldn’t get the chance of meeting Justin. The email that I received from BieberFever definitely changed everything. I will never forget this and will forever treasure every second of it. That morning I felt sick but that wouldn’t stop me from making my dream come true. I went to the arena at 4:00 p.m. to claim my wristbands. While waiting in line, Kenny came out and I freaked. I was in line for about an hour and 30 minutes until I was next to the curtains. The moment Kenny opened the curtains I was freaking out and trying to calm myself down. I walked inside with my sister and some other girls who won from this radio station contest. The first thing Justin said to us was, “Hey girls, how are you doing?” I was still in shock. It felt like a dream but I had to tell myself that this is really happening. I walked up to Justin and gave him my present and letter. “Aww, is this for me?” Then he replied with, “Thank you sweetheart.” It was time for our picture to be taken. After I asked him if I could have a hug and he said of course. He gives the best hugs and it just felt so good that I didn’t want to let go. I just kept staring at him. He was so perfect. Afterwards, he signed my album. Before I left I said, “Thank you so much for everything and I love you,” and he replied with, “Awee thank you sweetie. I love you too.” It was the fastest few minutes of my life that it even felt like it only lasted for a few seconds but I remember every second of it. It was just the best feeling ever getting to meet your idol. Then it was finally time for the much awaited show. I had the best catwalk seats. Carly came out first and she did her thing. It was my first time seeing her live too and she was amazing. Without even noticing, the countdown for Justin had started. From the video montage, to the lights, to the effects, to the stage, and to the choreography it was incredible and beyond amazing. Justin sounded like an angel. With his performance on stage, he just proved to the world what a true and talented artist he is. Before performing ‘Fall’ and ‘Be Alright,’ he lifted his shirt twice. Until today, I am still shocked and amazed that this all happened and I’ll forever be. It proved to me that anything is possible and dreams do come true if you just believe. Lastly, I want you all to promise me that you’ll never give up and you’ll keep dreaming! I promise you that you’ll all get to experience that same moment I had. Your time will come. I waited for so long and never thought this could happen but it did. -@Danyellaaaa17 See the rest here: I’m Danyelle and I’m 15 years old. On October 9/12,…
Hey guys, my name is Noortje and I’m from the Netherlands. So my first MBE took place on: 1 January 2010 at 14:42:53. That day was the day Justin followed me on my old personal twitter, almost 3 years ago. My second MBE took place on March 27/11 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on the My World Tour. I entered the BieberFever competition, I had to make a video where I was promoting BF. After that I had to wait for a while, one day before the concert I got the BEST e-mail ever. I was at my work secretly checking my mailbox till I found the mail from Brad. This is one of the moments I will never forget, I won the competition and was going to meet MY IDOL the next day, are you kidding me. I couldn’t believe it. So I called my best friend Marit who was going with me to the concert and we freaked out over the phone. The next day we went to Ahoy, the stadium he was playing at in Holland. Me and my friend Marit were there at around 2pm cause we couldn’t get there earlier. It was so amazing meeting up with all the other Dutch Beliebers, and there was a karaoke party and stuff. Around 5pm we had to head in to get our wristbands at the reception. After that we went with this big group to a room where Justin was. Some guy told us the rules and then all of the sudden Kenny walked in LIKE OMG , being the shy person I am I didn’t talk to him. How stupid of me. After some minutes the door to Justin opened, and let me tell you he was F L A W L E S S. Like I’m not even kidding or exaggerating. It was like he was perfect doll/statue, so beautiful I couldn’t believe it. We went in and he said hello, and me and my friend Marit, Sherice and Monique (two strangers back then) were SO shocked, we couldn’t answer him. Then we took a picture and he was like, ”Thank you very much” IN SUCH A SWEET WAY . I’m still drooling. I was flipping in my mind so hard. When we walked out I remember saying ‘OH MY GOD’ and then some girls came in and literally jumped on him LOL. Even though it were only about 30 seconds and I didn’t get to hug him or tell him how much I love him, it still were the BEST 30 seconds of my life. The day after I saw a press conference on my TV of Justin in Belgium and he was talking about how girls would show up at the M&G and would just black-out and don’t say anything. It reminded me of our meeting with him , hehe. Justin, thank you for everything. You continue to make me smile, proud and love you even more everyday. You’re the best. Can’t wait to see you rocking the Believe tour in Paris and Holland. I’m traveling all the way to Paris just to see you. Going to try my hardest to meet you again and get to tell you how much I love you in person. Remember me! -@DutchBieberTeam/@xnoooortje Go here to read the rest: Hey guys, my name is Noortje and I’m from the Netherlands….
Do you think he’s got a point? Tom Morello doesn’t hold back; especially when it comes to politics. He called out Lyan when his camp used a Rage Against The Machine song without the bands permission and now, he’s put POTUS on blast: According to Celebuzz… …the musician is no fan of Barack Obama’s administration either. Despite supporting Obama in the 2008 election, Morello, 48, is grossly disappointed in the president. “I think Obama has fallen horribly short of expectations that people like I had for him,” Morello told Celebuzz at Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars benefit in New York City on Saturday. “He talked like a different president, he looked like a different president, but he acted just like all of the other presidents, in my view.” What else did Morello have to say? Watch the video above! With so much political rhetoric from both parties dedicated to the nation’s middle class, Morello says that politicians are falling short on what he sees as the important issue: poverty. “There are millions of people around the planet who could be the next Mozart or cancer doctor or the person that cures autism that aren’t able to become the people that they were meant to be due to poverty,” he said. As for what politicians are doing to address the issue, Morello added: “They’re doing jack-s*** of what needs to be done because the poorest of the poor don’t have lobbyists in Washington. Their advocates are either themselves or people who [speak out] — I’ve dedicated my life’s work to that.” Morello has been an outspoken left-wing activist throughout his career and most recently has supported the Occupy Wall Street movement. “I think freedom of speech is very important,” he said. “And to present views that are outside of the corporate-controlled media. That’s a key thing.” As for what everyday Americans can do to get politically involved, Morello says it’s pretty simple — and a it doesn’t require an Ivy League education. “You don’t need to read The Wall Street Journal every day to have a moral compass. Stuff’s right and it’s wrong,” he said. “You don’t need to have a honors political science degree from Harvard to weigh in on this stuff — Although I do have an honors political science degree from Harvard,” he added, humorously. With only three weeks until election day, are you fellin’ confident with the candidates we’ve been given? Images via WENN
We’re really going places this week on DVD and Blu-ray: First, the Adam Sandler popularity train keeps on rolling, somehow, as That’s My Boy (2012) hits DVD and Blu-ray. Eva Amurri Martino and Leighton Meester star, but the only nudity comes from “naked lady in car” Kristen Valinch . Speaking of locomotives, the Jamie Lee Curtis cult classic Terror Train (1980) hits Blu-ray this week with smokin’ smokestacks from hot blonde Joy Boushel . For the espresso-sipper in your life, this week Sophie Quinton does her best Marilyn Monroe impersonation in the quirky French comedy Nobody Else But You (2011), and the reigning King of Quirk, Wes Anderson , brings his newest (probably) non-nude opus, Moonrise Kingdom (2012), to DVD and Blu-ray. Also nude on Blu-ray, the dearly departed Lina Romay is featured in her usual state of unshaven undress in the Jess Franco flicks Female Vampire (1973) and Exorcism (1974). More after the jump!
I watch Boardwalk Empire…even though I don’t have a TV..I just find random places to watch it…and I usually lose interest in the first 5 minutes…because I have no attention span…..apparently even for the nude scenes…cuz I missed this scene this week because I was eating pussy, but I do remember seeing a dude get his face smashed in, cuz that’s when the girl I was eating out got finally got wet…that sand paper turned to creamy goodness and I was concerned for my life but not because she got turned on during a murder scene but because the girls I have sex with usually come with terminal illness….and/or bacteria that can lead to terminal illness….I got high standards like that…. Thanks to the internet….I don’t need to pay attention…here is the clip.
