Khloe Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories to share a number of quotes that speak to someone going through a rough time. “There will be some things you won’t get over,” the first quote acknowledges. The quote continues: “Some things that will sting you so hard they will set you back to where you started.” “And you will hurt and hurt and hurt,” the quote affirms. “But you will also rise from it.” Those of us who followed Khloe through the tumultuous year of 2018 cannot help but think of Tristan’s cheating scandal. “You will learn from the past,” the quote continues. “You will adapt and survive,” the text reads. “No matter how hard it gets.” “You will shape your own reality,” the quote encourages. “And,” that text concludes. “Accept how you should never settle for anything less than you deserve.” That sounds very positive — exactly what someone who is suffering may need to hear. But that was not all that Khloe shared in her Instagram Stories. The next quote that she shared was alarming to a number of her fans and followers. “I wish I had the time for the nervous breakdown I deserve,” reads one quote. Khloe is a very busy person — as a businesswoman and also as a mom. We hope that she is taking time for herself. The third quote that she shared suggests an outpouring of emotional support. “Sending love to everyone who’s trying their best to heal from things that they don’t discuss,” that text reads. The former Love Island star opened up about this awful tragedy on Wednesday morning, sharing multiple photos of her daughter Consy and sharing the news that she had passed away. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore.” “Go be with grandma Consy. Beth Chapman has shared an update on her health with fans. And we really wish it were a more positive one. On Tuesday, the Dog the Bounty Hunter star and wife to husband Duane “Dog” Chapman shared a smiling selfie on Instagram, including with this snapshot multiple hashtag messages, including “stay humble” and “pray.” Specifically, Beth wrote the following: #dogwgna history in the making #dogsmostwanted #cancersucks #stayhumblepray #itsonlyhair. This would seem to imply she’s wearing a wig in the image below, as chemotherapy almost always causes one to lose one’s hair. Beth was first diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in September of 2017. Two months later, she and her famous husband apprised fans of her status, saying the tumor had been totally removed. Tragically, however, the cancer returned the following year, as Beth rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles on November 26 for an emergency surgery to clear a throat blockage that was obstructing her airways. Talking last year about Beth’s initial diagnosis, Dog told Us Weekly how he reacted to the awful news. “I’ve been with her since she was 19, she’s almost 100,” Chapman said/joked, adding: “Every picture I see of us together, I remember where it was. It just makes all those moments that you shared love a lot more real when that could be what you’re left with: just the moments. “It was hard as sh-t.” Beth, meanwhile, spoke to Radar Online after her surgery and blew us away with her attitude. “I’ve stared down the devil more than once in my life but I’ve never faced a real life or death decision,” she told the outlet. “My life has never been easy, and I surely don’t expect it to start now. Still, I’ve never been a victim and I won’t let cancer beat me.” The Chapmans got married in 2006 after 16 years as a couple. Their family starred on the A&E reality series for eight seasons until 2012. Back in November of 2017, A&E also aired a two-hour special titled Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives, whch chronicled Beth’s cancer journey As of this writing, we don’t know how much time Beth has remaining. I will continue 2019 with a renewal of peace, wellness & love for all.” Tamra shares three other children with her ex, Simon Barney: daughters Sidney, 20, and Sophia, 13, and son Spencer, 18. The 90 Day Fiance couple everyone thought had made it … did not. Jonathan and Fernanda have addressed their split in separate posts . But not everything is amicable. Now, the two are making vague posts about which of them is the better person. Fernanda had taken a “break” from social media. This week, she returned. “Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them,” she wrote in a vague post. “Some of the best human beings I know,” Fernanda continued. “Have been through so much at the hands of others.” “And,” Fernanda said, those people “still love deeply, they still care.” “Sometimes,” she noted. “It’s people who have been hurt the most, who refuse to be hardened in this world.” Fernanda says that this is “because they would never want to make another person feel the same way they themselves have felt.” It is difficult to read that and not interpret it as meaning that she will remain hopeful despite her broken marriage. In another post, still without naming Jonathan, Fernanda views her current situation through a religious lens. “I declare that God has a great plan for my life,” Fernanda begins. “He is directing my steps,” she writes. “And even though I may not always understand how,” Fernanda admits. “I know that my situation is not a surprise to God.” “He will work out every detail to my advantage,” she trusts. “In his perfect timing,” Fernanda concludes. “Everything will turn right.” Jonathan has also been active on social media. For the most part, as we have mentioned, he has been continuing as if it is business as usual. As we reported on Thursday, Jonathan shared a program that he started for underprivileged children in his community. But he has also shared a very succinct text post. “Be kind to people for no good reason,” the image reads. “#nocaptionneeded,” he wrote as his caption. Those posts are vague but generally pleasant. We wish that we could say the same for Jonathan and Fernanda’s marriage. “I haven’t spoken to Fernanda since December 22,” Jonathan clarified last week . “I have a lot going on,” he explained. “And so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what’s important.” Even so, he wanted to make it extremely clear that Fernanda isn’t any more of a villain than he is. “Fernanda’s not a gold digger,” he affirmed. “Fernanda didn’t come here for a green card.” “What happened was things change,” he admitted. “Things change and people change and I can’t help that.” “Every marriage has its problems. Every relationship has its issues,” Jonathan said on Instagram Live. “It’s all about your attitude,” he noted. “As long as you’re positive… [I] gotta take it day by day.” “I promise you, I didn’t give up,” he assured fans. I gave 110 percent to my marriage.” In the end, he says: “I reached a point where I said, ‘I have to love myself just as much.'” We hope that, at some point, Jon or Fernanda or both of them will explain what happened. If you’re a Teen Mom OG fan, then you’re no doubt aware of Ryan Edwards’ struggles with addiction . Following numerous arrests and multiple stints in rehab, Ryan is sober these days, and he’s reportedly fully committed to making amends for his past misdeeds and being the best husband and father he can be. Throughout his struggles, Ryan has benefited from the unwavering support of his wife, Mackenzie Standifer. Many fans of the show have openly wondered how Mackenzie could stand by Ryan’s side throughout his numerous relapses and embarrassing incidents such as the time he lost consciousness on their wedding day . But Mackenzie is up on the latest research, and it seems she’s well aware that while Ryan’s recovery is his responsibility, his addiction is not entirely his fault. Mackenzie has been taking to Instagram this week to try and educate her followers on the escalating opioid crisis in America. She speaks from experience, of course, as heroin and other opioids were Ryan’s drug of choice. And it seems that her recent research has made Mackenzie acutely aware of how lucky Ryan is to have escaped with his life. “I just wanted to hop on here and kind of show you guys the research I had done,” she told fans during a recent Instagram Live “This is going to blow your mind.” She then displayed the two charts below in hopes of impressing upon her fans the severity of the situation. “If this isn’t a crisis, I don’t know what is,” Standifer said. “Don’t believe me? You’d be surprised. A lot of the time it starts so innocent and ends in a revolving door, a never-ending cycle that can’t be easily stopped,” she added. “Have you ever wondered what your local pain clinic was handing out? Opiates. Educate yourselves.” “Let’s get talking. Let’s stop this. Let’s do something about it,” Mackenzie told her followers. Of course, this is the internet in 2019, so it’s not surprising that Standifer received some pushback from followers who had not researched the as thoroughly (if they did any research at all). “It’s not a crisis,” one commenter shot back. “People do drugs, it’s a CHOICE.” “[People are] more likely to die from an overdose than a car accident, but [I’m] still getting messages like these,” she wrote under a screenshot of the conversation. “This is why I CHOOSE to not shut up.” Fortunately, it seems that Mackenzie has received more support than criticism for her efforts. “Tell them about how REGULAR people get hooked on prescription drugs because of injury or surgery or chronic pain!” one fan wrote. “[These are] not crackheads in the street who are choosing to get high!” “You’re right! It’s people you’d NEVER expect. It’s lawyers, doctors, high power officials, the soccer mom in her minivan. It does NOT discriminate,” she responded. It’s a little upsetting that Ryan and her followers apparently believe “crackheads in the street” are less deserving of continued life than “high power officials,” but at least they’re moving in the right direction. The overdose rate is up roughly 500 percent since 1990, and the opioid crisis is a major factor in the continued decline of overall life expectancy in America.
