The story was all about a fatal carjacking that happened in the area of South West Atlanta. Email Submit Police believes Matthews was willing to do whatever the carjackers wanted, but they still killed him. Detective Ebony Johnson mentioned that the 15-year-old along with his mother turned himself in. She said, “It wasn’t necessary for them to take his life. They were in compliance. They were getting out of the vehicle at that point.” She is urging anyone with information to please come forward. Johnson said, “Think about it as being one of your family members that lost their life. The mother of the victim mentioned that her son had not only started a new job, but just hours before his death called to wish her a happy birthday. He leaves behind two young kids. An insider has confirmed the major life step to the aforementioned website, while also answering the most pressing question on the minds of most fans after learning of this news. Are Beador and Cook shacking up together because the latter is pregnant? Is David about to be a father once again? No, the source emphasizes. Cook is not pregnant. The two are just in love, we guess, and their relationship is simply this serious. David and Lesley went public with their romance in February, about three months after Shannon Beador announced she was divorcing her husband of 17 years. Not just divorcing him, we should say — but divorcing him and taking EVERYthing she could . This strong stance has supposedly been taken by Shannon because David confessed to cheating on her in 2015; and because many believe he was also cheating on her with Cook. Both David and Lesley have denied this allegation, with the latter calling Tamra Judge a liar for claiming that Cook and Beador met last October, while he was still married to Shannon. We have no inside knowledge of when this romance started, so we aren’t going to join in this speculation. We will reiterate, however, just how ugly a split this has become. Shannon is allegedly receiving $30,000 per month from David is spousal support, while David has reportedly demanded that his estranged wife drop his last name . That’s something you almost never see happen. Shannon and David share three kids together (17-year-old Sophie and 14-year-old twins Stella and Adeline) and it does at least seem like this vicious split isn’t having a negative effect on them. We mean, we’re sure it is. How could it not?!? But Cook at least told Us Weekly this spring that David “goes above and beyond for his daughters,” adding: “David is an absolutely amazing dad. He takes his daughters to school every morning, well the ones that don’t drive. He takes them to all of their after school activities, drives them to their tournaments, and is always there for them. “His daughters are the absolute light in his life, and he loves them so very much. “The girls will always come first.”
Big Boi Takes Us On A Tattoo Tour With GQ Big Boi is a legend not only in Atlanta or in hip hop, but in the world of music as a whole. He’s had his share of classics both with Andre 3000 and their collective Outkast, and throughout his own successful career thereafter. It’s impossible to deny the rapper’s impression on our world of music, but he’s got more than just beats going on–the ATLien also has a dope collection of tattoos ready to show off. Sir Lucious L. Leftfoot sat down with the good people over at GQ to take us all on a tour of his most impressive, most important tattoos. The legendary rapper, actor, and producer starts off by talking about the two places he never wants tattoos: his back and his “Johnson,” the first because you would never be able to see it, the latter because it would hurt like hell. The first tat he talks about is his name “Twan” with a heart around it, because it’s the “name [his] mama gave him. The second tattoo he got was a lion on his forearm, saying that when he started rapping everything was always about “king s**t.” Big Boi then talks about some of his lines on Goodie Mob’s “Git Up, Git Out,” because it’s pretty perfect for this exact occasion. He raps, “I wore with tank tops to show off my tattoo, thought I was cool” which channels the affinity he had for his tattoos when he first got them, thinking they were the most cool accessories in the world. He also says that’s why he got the lion tattoo lower on his arm, so everybody could see it. The next tattoo he mentions is important to him and his Southern heritage, which drove him to get “DIRTY SOUTH” embossed across both of his arms. There is a saying that art imitates life and that’s what happens in the new film A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga , Bradley Cooper and Dave Chappelle hitting theaters October 5th. There is a scene in the film where Bradley’s character Jackson Maine, a singer who struggles with alcohol addiction, embarrasses Ally, Gaga’s character at the Grammy’s that reminded me of the aftermath of a drunk Kanye West snatching the mic from Taylor Swift at the VMAs. The now infamous incident led to the cancelation of Ye and Gaga’s joint tour in 2009 called Fame Kills. During Kanye’s mental breakdown that happened on stage back in 2016, Ye called Gaga ‘s cancellation of the tour “the beginning of the end of my life .” Gaga would eventually tweet her support for Ye. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth welcomed their first child , a baby boy named Gideon, back in February. But since reality television takes time, we’re just now seeing all the good baby stuff on Counting On. We’ve seen Joy-Anna talk about her plans for a home birth, and then when she went into labor, we saw her dramatic rush to the hospital once her midwife told her the baby was breach. She ended up having a c-section , a little Gideon turned out not to be so little — at birth, he weighed 10 pounds and 3 ounces. After watching all that on the show, we’re now at the point where we get to see Joy and Austin actually caring for their new baby. And as you can see in this new clip from this week’s episode, it’s turning out to be a little more difficult than they thought it would be! Joy-Anna Duggar: Look How Cute My Baby Is! As the video begins, the new parents are preparing to give their son a bath in the kitchen sink, and they say that he usually enjoys the process. Joy, who’s looking about as exhausted as you’d expect the mother of a newborn to look, also says that she’s been having to wake Gideon up during the night to feed him, because he doesn’t wake up to eat on his own. A producer tells Austin that when his own kid was born, he was “freaked out” for the first few nights, and Austin could relate to that. “The first week it was, ‘Is the baby breathing?'” he recalls. “I would just lay there and see if I could hear it, and multiple times I got out of bed, you know, making sure it was breathing.” “I think I’m finally coming to the realization that there’s always going to be something for the rest of my life, and the rest of his life.” Because, as he acknowledges, “that’s just part of my job as a dad.” When Joy has her turn to speak with producers, she admits that “Being a mom is, in a lot of ways, easier than I thought and then, in a lot of ways, harder than I thought.” She says that she knows her mom, good ol’ Michelle Duggar, “had gone through a lot with all of us kids,” but that she didn’t think having a kid of her own would be “that hard” because she’d always helped to take care of her siblings. “It’s given me a whole new appreciation for moms out there that have kids,” she adds. Next, Austin reveals that he’d never changed a diaper before his son came along, but that since Joy had a c-section and wasn’t as able to “get out of bed much,” he had to step up and take care of business. He actually says that Joy only changed about five diapers during the first two weeks, so it sounds like he really was taking over diaper duty. “Austin really stepped up,” Joy confirms, “especially since I had a c-section. I couldn’t really hardly get up at all by myself.” “He had to help me up and I mean, do all the dirty work, for me and for the baby, and just … I mean, he’s amazing.” And then, and this is the super interesting part, she adds that “I haven’t ever seen a guy give so much of himself for his wife.” It’s interesting because the Duggar family is very, very close, and Joy has seen a lot of interactions between married couples. There’s Jim Bob and Michelle, Josh and Anna, Jill and Derick, Jessa and Ben, Jinger and Jeremy, Joseph and Kendra, Josiah and Lauren … So in all of those marriages, she’s never seen a man take such good care of his wife? Also, Austin took care of his kid and his wife after his wife had a pretty major surgery, which is great, obviously, but it’s also just what a spouse should do, you know? Is she saying that the men in her family wouldn’t take care of their children if their wives weren’t able to do it? Because that kind of sounds like what she’s saying. Botham Jean ‘s mother is sick and tired of the f***ery that is currently taking place within the Dallas Police Department. The boys and girls in blue are doing everything in their power to besmirch Botham’s good name. A name that, according to what family lawyer Lee Merritt told CNN , had never once been associated with crime or arrest in his 26 years of life. “The Dallas Police Department investigators were interested specifically in finding information that could help assassinate his character,” attorney Lee Merritt told reporters. “Twenty-six years on this earth he lived his life without a blemish. It took being murdered by a Dallas police officer for Botham Jean to suddenly become a criminal.” Jean’s mother also had words for the people who are protecting the woman who murdered her son. “I’m calling on the Dallas officials … please come clean. Give me justice for my son because he does not deserve what he got,” Allison Jean said. There aren’t even proper words to describe the unbridled anger that we feel toward cops when things like this happen. Then they have the nerve to chide Black folks for wearing socks with pigs on them…

We have shocking news to report from the world of Married at First Sight: One of the couples featured on this Lifetime reality series has called it quits. Why is this so surprising, considering the finale of each Married at First Sight season ends with twosomes deciding to give their love an extended shot … or to go their separate ways? Because this break-up has taken place during the season. Indeed, with new Season 7 installments airing every Tuesday night, Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson* have announced that they can’t pretend any longer. They can’t spend another moment as husband and wife. They are getting a divorce. (*No, not that Tristan Thompson ; not the basketball player who has scarcely met an Instagram model he didn’t want to bend over and simply pound. We’re talking about this other one.) According to People Magazine, Bally filed for this legal split in Dallas County, Texas, on September 4. It shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone who’s been watching Married at First Sight that this relationship has come to a conclusion. It’s only unexpected that Bally is the one who has filed the paperwork. Over the course of the past few weeks, Thompson has been struggling with a few issues from Mia’s past, specificially that she was arrested years ago on a charge of stalking . This information came to light after Mia was detained and questioned at the airport while the newlyweds were set to embark on their honeymoon. Later on, Tristan learned that Bally was still active on a dating app, even while the two were married. That was yet another major bump in the romantic road, but Thompson (on air, at least) had been willing to try and overlook the obstacles and remained committing to his union. That said, there were very clear signs of tension. All of this is piling up, and now I’m sitting here not knowing who I just married,” Thompson said at one point. He added during another scene: “This entire marriage I feel like I’ve been completely honest with Mia, and I’ve told her to just give me the truth, and it seems like she’s gone out of her way to hide things from me. “I honestly don’t know what to feel or what to believe right now. I thought we were done with all the secrets and lies.” Like we said: it’s no surprise these two didn’t work out. We’re just taken aback that Mia is the one to have pulled the plug. But we guess Tristan just didn’t live up to the expectations she had in mind for a husband. “I feel like I lead a simple life,” she said in the past, explaining: “I do go to church every Sunday. “I am part of a Bible study group on Tuesdays. So that’s what I want is a man to lead me closer to Christ, or even a goal, us have a goal together, and he leads me towards those same motivational values that we have.” Oh well. It’s been nearly a week since rapper Mac Miller passed away after suffering a drug overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Though authorities have yet to determine Miller’s cause of death , all signs seem to indicate that he finally succumbed to the substance abuse issues that had plagued him throughout his life. Small amounts of powdery white substances believed to be drugs in the opioid family were reportedly found in Miller’s home. And a 911 call seemed to indicate that panicked friends of Miller were had little doubt as to the cause of his condition. The fact that he was not alone at the time of his death combined with the revelation that Miller had been dead for several hours before authorities arrived led to rumors that there would be an investigation as a result of possible foul play. For now, however, it looks as though police are treating Miller’s death as a tragic accident. “This is strictly a Coroner’s Office case at this time,” Sgt. Barry Montgomery, a spokesman for the LAPD , told Radar Online. “As far as we are concerned, we are not investigating it as a criminal activity.” Officially, the cause of Miller’s death is labeled as “deferred” pending the results of a toxicology report. Fans have expressed shock over the fact that there will be no investigation, as early reports about Miller’s final hours seemed to indicate a chaotic scene. And for many, the length of time between when the rapper died and when his body was found suggested criminal negligence. Witnesses told police that a group consisting mostly of young men was “coming in and out all night” in the hours before Miller’s death, breaking bottles and engaging in other destructive acts. Sources claim several people left the home in a hurry just before police arrived. “They seemed in a rush to go,” claimed one onlooker. Sadly, many who knew Miller best were not surprised by his tragic passing. Miller’s substance abuse issues were a major factor in his recent breakup with Ariana Grande , and she was one of many who implored him to get sober. On Wednesday, Miller’s body was shipped from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh so that he could be laid to rest in his hometown. Our thoughts go out to Mac Miller’s loved ones during this difficult time. Source: NurPhoto / Getty Mac Miller ‘s sudden passing last week still remains something of a mystery as an official cause of death has yet to be announced. While speculation over how the young rapper died remains high, it has since come out that Miller was allegedly dead for hours ahead of his body being discovered. TMZ reports : Law enforcement sources tell us … when cops and paramedics arrived at the rapper’s home last Friday, it was clear he had died long before they got there. TMZ broke the story … friends came over the night before Mac died to hang out, and we’re told they stayed until the early hours of Friday morning, Sept. 7. Mac’s body was found Friday around noon. We broke the story … Miller died of an apparent overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Cops say no one has come forward claiming they saw Mac alive after Thursday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene, after someone at his home called 911, saying Mac wasn’t breathing and was unresponsive. The emergency dispatch call came in as “cardiac arrest,” but apparently that’s because the person who found him may not have realized he was already dead. The outlet adds that while drugs weren’t found, a small amount of white powder was located in the San Fernando Valley home. — Photo: Getty
