For reasons of safety, decorum and mental health, Ariana Grande has canceled a handful of upcoming tour dates. In a statement issued through her publicist, the singer announced on Wednesday that shows scheduled through June 5 will no longer take place. She has not yet made a decision on concert dates beyond that. “Due to the tragic events in Manchester the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost,” the pop star’s management team says. The statement continues: “The London O2 shows this week have been cancelled as well as all shows through June 5 in Switzerland. “We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence. “Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you.” By now, you are likely aware of the tragic circumstances that prompted this statement. On Monday night, a suicide bomber named Salman Abedi killed 22 people and injured dozens more when he detonated a nail bomb inside Manchester Arena. He did so toward the end of a Grande concert in the venue. British are now investigating a “network” of people and have arrested four suspects in connection with the attack, according to Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins. A representative of Grande’s confirmed that the young artist was physically fine shortly after the attack took place, but she is understandably shaken up. The star wrote a Tweet in response to the bombing that said she was “broken” inside, simply saying at the time that she was “so sorry” for what transpired and adding that she had no other words to offer. How could she? How can anyone? What is there to say when a terrorist blows up innocent eight-year olds and teenagers ? According to multiple users on Twitter, however, Grande is at least trying to do whatever she can in the wake of this disaster. We have not yet received confirmation, but she’s allegedly offered to pay for the funeral expenses of every victim. On Tuesday, Grande flew back to Florida . She is reportedly holed up with her boyfriend Mac Miller and her family, trying to recover from what happened. “Ariana is inconsolable,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding: “She’s absolutely heartbroken. She can’t believe this happened. She spent the night [of the tragedy] crying with her backup dancers and saying how much she adores her fans.” Echoing this sentiment, a different insider tells People Magazine: “It’s so, so sad. She loves her fans and is absolutely crushed and devastated as you can imagine. She can’t believe this happened. She just wants to be with her family and loved ones right now.” Grande had been scheduled to perform next on Thursday night in London. She has now canceled that show, along with each show through the one slated for Zürich, Switzerland on June 5. The first date on her calendar that has NOT yet been canceled is a concert in Paris on June 7. These musical stops are completely unimportant in comparison to the lives lost in Manchester this week, of course, but we’ll keep fans apprised of Grande’s upcoming schedule as more information is released in the coming days. Just so they can at least plan accordingly. In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone affected by this tragic act.
If you have any interest in the game of “which pale Brit is playing the role of Taylor Swift’s arm candy today?” then you’ve probably already heard that Taylor is dating Joe Alwyn . Like Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, and Harry Styles before him, Joe is a pasty young lad from the UK. Unlike those other blokes, he’s not really famous in his own right, so there’s no risk that Joe will outshine Taylor or team with one of her celebrity rivals. It’s a match made in Superficial Heaven! The official story from Camp Swifty is that Taylor has “learned from her past relationships” and thus decided to move to slowly and keep things on the down-low with Joe. That lie served it’s intended purpose for about a week, but now there’s a whole slew of pesky facts getting in the way of the “mature, world-weary Taylor” narrative. For instance, we learned yesterday that Alwyn and Swift are moving in together . Now, to us, that doesn’t sound like taking things slowly, especially when moving in together requires one person to relocate to another continent. (It’s Joe who will be leaving his home to move in with Taylor, obvi.) Unless, of course, they’ve actually been together much longer than they’re letting on. A clearly Taylor-approved source spoke to People magazine this week, and she may have revealed more than she intended to about Taylor’s relationship timeline: “Taylor has been insanely private about her relationship with Joe,” the insider says. “She wanted to get to know him without any chaos. She has learned from the past.” The insider adds: “Joe’s a very normal, down-to-earth guy. He’s private and low-key.” And now that the relationship is public, the Taylor surrogate claims, “they’re on the same page on how to handle the attention.” The tipster stopped just short of saying they rode unicorns over a rainbow on their first date, a la Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone. Unfortunately, like Kellyanne Conway on a Sunday morning talk show, the Taylor talk piece got cocky and screwed up when it came time to confirm some details: Asked if Taylor and Joe were already dating when they were spotted at a Kings of Leon concert (RIP, Kings of Leon Being Cool: 2003 – 2017) back in October, the source replied in the affirmative. That would mean they were officially dating just weeks after Taylor broke up with Tom Hiddleston . Johnny Depp isn’t exactly killing it these days. Sure, he’s still got the private island in the Bahamas and he probably woke up this afternoon with two spindly models in his bed, but as he stumbles into his mid-50s, the Tim Burton Frankenstein lab creation is definitely learning to take the good with the bad. These days, most of the cringeworthy Depp gossip comes not from anonymous sources on social media, but from far more reliable court documents. You see, when Depp’s not out drumming up press for Pirates of the Caribbean 5 , which critics are describing as an experience akin to an emergency colonoscopy with talking parrots and sh-t, he’s in court. Most of the recent tabloid headlines have had to do with Depp’s legal wrangling with his management group , TMG. Both parties are suing one another in an increasingly ridiculous court battle that’s brought to light a number of spending habits that shed a lot of light on Johnny’s recent years. (The $30,000 a month on wine , wasn’t exactly shocking, but it’s still pretty amusing.) Of course, before this latest round of courtroom drama, Johnny’s divorce from Amber Heard served as a constant source of bizarre and sometimes troubling revelations. Heard’s attorneys painted a picture of Depp as something a besotted monster – abusive, controlling, almost pathologically possessive. Divorce lawyers aren’t the most upstanding lot, and we may never know for sure how many of those claims were accurate, but it’s interesting that the latest Depp-disparaging legal docs come not from Heard, her attorneys, or even someone who’s on Amber’s side. They come from a man named Chris Hanley, a producer on the film London Fields, in which Heard has a leading role. The movie has yet to see the light of day, and Hanley claims that’s due in large part to Heard – and her tumultuous marriage to Depp which caused near-constant production problems. The main issue, Hanley claims, is that Depp jealously demanded that Heard pulled support for provocative scenes depicing her likeness, even when said scenes were shot with a body-double. In documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter , Hanley blasts both Heard and Depp , claiming that Johnny was a nuisance and Heard brought her personal drama to the set on a regular basis. “Amber Heard should be ashamed,” reads a preliminary statement from Hanley’s lawyers. The statement does on to reveal that Depp was so upset about Heard’s role in the film, that it may have been a contributing factor to their divorce: “Heard has made numerous fantastical accusations against Depp, and reports of her alleged affair with co-star Billy Bob Thornton became so pervasive that Thornton issued a public denial,” Hanley’s lawyers claim. “Indeed, while generally concealed from Plaintiff at the time, Plaintiff is now informed and believes that the provocative nature of Heard’s femme fatale role in the film was a factor leading to her divorce from Depp.” Hanley’s lawyers go on to claim that Depp forced Heard to reverse course on risque scenes to which she had already agreed: “He told the Hanleys that her ex-husband Johnny Depp (who had no cutting rights) would not approve of certain scenes or of her overall provocative performance, Heard herself approved of those scenes on several occasions,” states the document. “Heard later reversed course, apparently under perceived or actual pressure from Depp (who, according to Heard, was extremely jealous).” Like we said, not a great PR year for Johnny. Huma Abedin is wasting no time in getting rid of her loser husband, Anthony Weiner. According to ABC, Huma has filed for divorce from the disgraced politician, and the divorce was not contested. Three sexting scandals was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Huma, who previously announced she was separating from Anthony late last year. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before she filed for divorce from Anthony, who seemed to think it was alright to throw his weiner around outside of their marriage. In confirming her split in 2016, Huma also released a statement, confirming the news, while asking for privacy. “After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband.” “Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life.” “During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.” Anthony’s life has been turned upside down by his knack for getting a little too vulgar during sexting sessions. Things took a shocking turn when it was confirmed that he was sexting with a 15-years-old. That was not his first instance of sexting, but it was the most shocking. Previously, he was running for mayor of New York City when 22-year-old Sydney Leathers came forward about her digital relationship with the man. She then took to the porn industry with her take on her relationship with him. However, Weiner subsequently got hot and heavy over text messages with the 15-year-old after she sent him a direct message about a book she was writing on him. The girl and her father opened up to Daily Mail about the severity of the text messages. One of them reads: “I would bust that tight p***y so hard and so often that you would leak and limp for a week.” Unsurprisingly, Weiner was summoned to court to answer for his crimes and opted to plead guilty. He was charged with transferring obscene material to a minor. He was allegedly crying and remorseful for his crimes, and per the terms of his plea deal, he would spend 21 to 27 months in jail, give up his iPhone and pay a fine of up to $350,000. Her latest attempt to show the world that she’s still got it came in the form of her showing off her booty as she modeled her lingerie line, Cocolicious. Crazy brand name aside, the model had no qualms about letting fans get a glimpse of ASSets. See what we did there? The 38-year-old took to Snapchat with pictures that would probably pass as X-rated. Seriously, it’s almost as if she’s returning to her R-rated movie roots. Something tells us Nicki Minaj as going to have a rant about the above photo. It’s very similar to the Anaconda photo that went viral back when Nicki was still a thing. Since Ice Loves Coco got the pink slip from execs at E!, Coco has been trying to remain in the public eye. These pictures are yet another example of that. Does she think lingerie will help sell her lingerie like hot cakes? We’re not so sure. It just comes across as desperate, but she has to find a way to keep her products selling. Coco gave birth to her first child with Ice-T in 2015. When she’s not showing off her rear end, she is sharing pictures of herself and her daughter wearing matching clothing. Just look at the picture below… Austin has been married to Ice-T since 2002, and they seem to get along very well. There was a lot of drama on their reality TV series, but by the time the show was canceled, it was stale. In fact, there were rumblings the couple was lining up another reality series with Ryan Seacrest’s production company.
