The news came as a surprise to many as Joy-Anna is only 19, and she married Austin Forsyth just three short months ago. (Incidentally, this is the first time a Duggar pregnancy has come as a surprise to anyone.) Due to how soon the announcement was made after the wedding – and the fact that the Duggars claim to abstain from all forms of premarital sexual conduct – perhaps speculation that Joy-Anna got married out of wedlock was inevitable. Now, a source close to the family has confirmed to Radar Online that even within Joy-Anna’s inner circle, there are folks who have some serious questions about the date of conception. “The pregnancy was very fast,” the source says. “I don’t see it being far fetched when you have such strict rules before marriage.” Asked if Joy-Anna got pregnant prior to tying the knot, the source replied vaguely, “There is always a chance.” In case that wasn’t obtuse enough, the “insider” then offered an answer that literally anyone on the planet could have given: “I couldn’t give you a definite answer, but why not?” said the source, who were beginning to suspect was just a guy waiting at a bus stop. Okay, so this particular insider wasn’t much help, but there is legitimate reason to believe that Joy-Anna got knocked up prior to saying “I do.” For one thing, many have claimed that her wedding date was moved up several months without explanation. On top of that, at least one doctor who examined recent photos stated that Joy-Anna seems to be 4 or 5 months pregnant . Additionally, we know that Joy-Anna and Austin broke her family’s courtship rules – the young couple admitted as much on an episode of Counting On . We just don’t know how far they went. “We’re humans and sometimes we don’t always abide perfectly by our rules. We try. That was a real hard try,” Austin explained. In all likelihood, the couple went no further than “front-hugging” (unmarried couples are only permitted to engage in “side-hugs” according to the Duggars’ rules), but as to quote the the family leaker, “there is always a chance” they did more. You know how Serena Williams is pregnant with her first child ? Well, she was pregnant — because she went into labor today. And now the greatest athlete in the world has given birth! Bethenny Frankel is devoting pretty much all of her time this week to relief efforts for Houston and other areas devastated by Hurricane Harvey. She’s certainly not the only celebrity helping with the relief effort . We say “pretty much” all of her time, because Bethenny Frankel has also experienced what sounds like a major health scare. One serious enough that she’s reportedly undergoing screening … for cancer. The polarizing star of The Real Housewives of New York City has never held back an opinion, ever, in her life, and she’s taking her usual lack of chill and putting it towards a great cause: desperately needed hurricane relief. She’s raised at least $500,000 for those impacted in Corpus Christi and she’s making sure that much-needed resources, including clothing, go directly to women and their families in those areas hit hardest by the massively destructive storm. In the process, Bethenny showed her face, where you can clearly see that roughly circular bandage on one of her cheeks. It’s not subtle, folks. Among the comments (most thanking her for devoting her time and resources to such a good cause), some fans and followers expressed curiosity or concern over Bethenny’s bandage. And Bethenny answered. Bethenny explained in the comments that she had “had a growth removed.” That was instantly alarming to some people. One followers, however, asked if the growth was a reaction to face-fillers. “No. [Basal] cell. I don’t do fillers.” She had accidentally written “basil,” which sounds more delicious but less worrisome. Then, in classic Bethanny Frankel fashion, she makes sure that people don’t think that she’s being defensive or vain. “My jaw is the size of Pittsburgh. Nothing needs enhancement.” Basal cell carcinoma, of course, is the most common form of skin cancer. Did you know that as many as four million cases of basal cell carcinoma are diagnosed each year, just in the US? That’s more than 1% of the population. Every year. Pay attention to your moles and don’t neglect your sunscreen, folks. Us Weekly reports that Bethenny Frankel is now being screened for cancer . We assume that this means that Bethenny’s growth, that has now been removed, has been sent to a pathology lab for analysis. We also assume that she might undergo a battery of other tests to determine whether or not she might have skin cancer elsewhere or even another form of cancer. Cancer is weird, dangerous, and deadly, folks. You can never bee too careful. Bethenny Frankel, though, has the resources to cover medical care and also the exact sort of fighting spirit that can give people an edge if they do have a cancer diagnosis. She didn’t wage this battle against Jason Hoppy for years only to fall to cancer just as she reaches the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. And it sounds like they caught this basal cell growth on her face really early. Hopefully, these tests will all come back negative and Bethenny will be able to rest easy. Image via Larry French/Getty Maryland Governor Looks Into Allegations Of Graduation Fraud In PG County Prince George’s County has 5 of the top 10 richest Black neighborhoods in America according to Atlanta Black Star . It stands to reason that communities like PG County where there are stable homes and economic empowerment would likely yield an above average high school graduation rate. However, according to the Washington Post , Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is skeptical of all the #blackexcellence taking place just outside the nation’s capitol. Governor Hogan has launched an investigation into PG County school’s where there have been allegations that teachers are finessing students’ grades to increase the graduation rate. The CEO of Prince George’s County Schools, Kevin Maxwell, denies any such thing. We’re definitely gonna keep an eye on this one. If Governor Hogan doesn’t come back with some hard evidence then this whole investigation into one of the wealthiest Black communities in America is gonna look REAL funny in the light.
