With 2010 drawing to a close, it is with much pride that THG unveils its 10 finalists for its prestigious, Fourth Annual Celebrity of the Year award. These stars all gave us their best, their worst, their nude pics (sometimes) and their scandals (often). This month, THG honors that greatness. Following the revolting but necessary inclusion of Danielle Staub at #9, we present Celebrity of the Year finalist #8 … Lindsay Lohan ! Lindsay Lohan’s default expression throughout most of 2010 . The past year was a wreckalicious one for Lindsay Lohan, who used to be an actress at one point. These days, she’s known mostly for … being a disaster. Still, the fact that she defied death and appears to be on the right track at last – she’s been in rehab for months with no end in sight – is worthy of props! If you searched for ” Lindsay Lohan jailed ” from mid-July on, chances are you’d find a THG story. She was locked up this summer for a probation violation. She was then spring, entered rehab, left rehab, failed a drug test, had a warrant issued for her arrest, was briefly jailed and then ordered to rehab again. Through it all, she feuded with her family, was dumped by various partners and producers, stayed out late a lot and pushed her frail body to the limit. She posed nude for more random magazines than we can even recall, stayed up very late, was a terrible influence to her sister and made excuses a lot. We’re so glad she’s still with us and hope that one day soon, she can get back to entertaining more than just celebrity gossip websites (thanks, though). Dancing With the Stars is reportedly a’callin’ and we hope she can answer the bell. It could be her ticket back to success like it has been for others.
