Brad Womack is back for a second stint as The Bachelor, and as luck would have it, ABC has already given us three full minutes of hilarious nonsense to watch. If this looks like the kind of montage ABC will typically play at the end of the season premiere, a la “this season on The Bachelor ,” that’s because it sort of is. They’re really trying to get out ahead of The Bachelor spoilers this time. Good luck with that, ABC, but thanks for whetting our appetites for the Jan. 3 opener: Brad Womack Returns as The Bachelor: Extended Preview We’ve already seen him get bitch-slapped , but it was worth a second look, and the rest was great. Some thoughts on The Bachelor sneak preview above … We know the video quality sucks. Bear with us until we find a better copy. Was that lightning and rain? God hates Brad more than Steve Johnson . Brad Womack has a staggering number of awesome plaid shirts. Expect to hear “Is he scared of commitment?!” about 465 times. That and every insult in the book. These writers women show no mercy. Brad has done A LOT of soul searching. So much so, he says it twice.

Here’s Lindsay Lohan continuing her rehab hotness in a nice little sundress the other day. I don’t know what kind of program she’s in, but it seems to be pretty chill, my parents just duck taped me to my bed for a week. Whatever she’s doing, it seems to be working because she’s looking a lot better. Don’t get me wrong, I loved drunk Lindsay, but I like a woman who’s going to remember me in the morning. There’s nothing worse than trying to convince a chick you just spent the night with that you didn’t just break into her house to steal her collection of Beanie Babies .

Lindsay Lohan wants the paparazzi to give her some space. This is no joke, or just an offhand comment she made – girl wants a restraining order up in this piece. The star thinks she’s being denied driving privileges because of all the celebrity gossip personnel on her tail and wants her lawyer to put a stop to it ASAP. She’s seeking a restraining order prohibiting them from chasing her. DRIVING MISS CRAZY : She won’t be, thanks to the paps . The L.A. County Probation Department, along with the DMV, have given Lindsay the green light to drive again, as has the Betty Ford clinic where she lives. But just when LiLo was supposed the get the keys to Michael’s Mercedes, Betty Ford decided it was too much of a safety risk to put her behind the wheel. The paparazzi create an unsafe driving situation, officials believe. It’s unclear if a restraining order is viable legally in this case, or if her handlers will reverse their decision, but looks like Linds is stuck in neutral for now.

Here’s Avril Lavigne out the other day running a few errands with her man servant. I’m just assuming that’s her man servant because he’s got a haircut like a Tibetan monk, he’s walking six feet behind her and he’s carrying all her bags like a good man servant should. Anyhow, Avril’s trying to work her little punk rock princess look like she’s still a teenager, but she’s something like thirty years old now and it’s beginning to look a little played. Short short and some heels will remedy the situation pretty quick.

Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a temporary respite from rehab this weekend. On the docket for the troubled, recovering actress? Coffee and cigarettes. Guess caffeine and nicotine rank pretty far down the list of Lindsay Lohan vices. Kicking her addictions to cocaine and alcohol are top priorities. Here’s LiLo at a local Starbucks near Palm Springs … Lindsay’s looking (mostly) healthy these days. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] The 24-year-old spent Thanksgiving with her dad. While she and Michael Lohan are on better terms, he hasn’t been able to get Linds to quit smoking. Last month, when the reunited twosome began to mend fences, MiLo sent her an electric cigarette as part of a care package, apparently to no avail. Oh well. Maybe that’ll come after she completes her stint in rehab, which has been going on for two months-plus and seems to be working wonders. What do you think? Can she stay clean this time? For many celebrities this year, Thanksgiving was a time for turkey, pumpkin pie… and romance! For example, while NBC aired a special in her honor Thursday night, Taylor Swift spent the holiday with new man toy Jake Gyllenhaal. They went for coffee in Brooklyn around 10:30 that morning and “were really really sweet,” said a witness. Elsewhere… Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green snapped a picture of themselves at Disney World. Glee star Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer partied at Groucho club in London. Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry hung out together in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. Lindsay Lohan dined with Samanta Ronson at the latter’s apartment.
