Ashley Graham, Plus-Size Model, to Flaunt Curves in Sports Illustrated

Move over, Kate Upton . And make way for Ashley Graham! The 27-year old has confirmed via Instagram that she’ll be featured this month in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, becoming the first plus-size model in history to grace the pages of that iconic issue. “Secret’s out!! So honored to be the face of #CurvesInBikinis for @swimsuitsforall! Can’t wait for the ad’s debut in the @SI_Swimsuit issue!” Graham wrote as a caption to the above image. Added the Size-16 brunette in a statement shortly after the news broke: “I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too. There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt.” Graham actually made headlines last month when she took issue with Jennifer Lawrence serving as Hollywood’s idea of a “regular” sized woman. “She’s tiny,” Graham said of The Hunger Games star. “There needs to be more education in schools, because that’s where eating disorders start. Nick Offerman NASCAR Ad: Offensive to Celiac Disease Sufferers?

Here is a controversy we did not see coming… During Super Bowl XLIX, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman anchored a commercial for NASCAR, relying on his ultra masculine image to lament how the country has gone soft. “When our idea of danger is eating gluten, there’s trouble afoot,” the actor said at the outset of the spot. No big deal, right? Sort of funny, no? Try telling that to some people with celiac disease. Nick Offerman Super Bowl Commercial Someone who refers to himself as “Gluten Dude” and who hails from Newtown, Pennsylvania first took offense to the commercial and then took to Change.org to start a petition. “[The ad] implies that we’re soft,” he writes. “We’re weak … we’re part of America’s problem. When all we’re trying to do is manage our disease.” As of this writing, 18,000 people have signed Gluten Dude’s petition to have the ad yanked. Do you find it offensive? Elsewhere in Super Bowl commercial news: The Nationwide Super Bowl commercial plunged America into a pit of despair. Lindsay Lohan mocked her terrible driving record. Johnny Manziel Enters Rehab, Seeks to "Improve" Himself

Following a dismal and embarrassing rookie campaign, NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel has entered a treatment facility. A first round draft pick out of Texas A&M, Manziel finished this season with just 112 total passing yards, two interceptions and zero touchdowns. The Browns were shutout in his only start and rumors circulated all year long of Manziel’s irresponsible, hard-partying, idiotic, Justin Bieber -like lifestyle. Advisor Brad Beckworth tells ESPN that Manziel checked in to rehab last Wednesday, though he did not provide a specific reason why. “Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend and teammate and he thought the offseason was the right time to take this step,” Beckworth said in a statement. We presume, in this case, the areas in which Manziel needs to improve do not include arm strength, accuracy or dedication to game film viewing. “On behalf of Johnny and his family, we’re asking for privacy until he rejoins the team in Cleveland,” Beckworth concluded. Helena Christensen is probably the best thing to ever be exported from Denmark…she’s 46 years old, and I hate when these tabloids put focus on a girl’s age, like “Lindsay Lohan, 27, still alive”….or “Goldie Hawn, 90, still alive”….or “Kate Upton 350 pounds, still considered a model”…because as an old dried up pile of obese impacted shit, I don’t think age really has anything to do with anything, and when you’re a model in the 80s, you have a certain level of genetic disposition of tall and skinny, that carries you nicely into your 50s, as long as you don’t do too much cock, tanning, botox….but I guess as 46, an age I normally consider “better off dead”…at least based on the moms I see at Walmart…she’s pretty fucking substantial…and it’s probably largely in part to her tits…. So, I guess, Victoria’s Secret picked out a good one yet again….but if you’ve seen Wicked Games music video, because you’re 40 also, you already know that.

Kylie Jenner’s driving record is spottier than Lindsay Lohan’s back after a day at the beach, and the reality star certainly doesn’t help her case by boasting about her bad habits on social media. You may have heard about the puppy that Kylie’s neglecting  since Christmas. Well, based on her latest Instagram post, it seems Kylie does take the dog with her sometimes…she just does it in the most dangerous fashion possible: Some of you may be saying, “So what? I drive with my dog in the front seat all the time!” And that’s fine. The operative words there are “front seat” (not “lap”) and “dog” (not “very young puppy of a particularly fragile breed”). To make matters worse, Kylie might be the incompetent driver in Los Angeles, which is a bit like calling her the most vapid Kardashian. It’s a hotly contested race. Kylie’s been in multiple car accidents despite the fact that she got her license just over a year ago. As a new year begins, many struggling former stars have high hopes for career rebirths and new beginnings. Some of them will be successful. Most will not.  Sadly, a lot of aging former icons and D-list strivers will fade into obscurity, while others will be dealt an even more unfortunate hand. Yes, unpleasant as it is to contemplate, dozens of celebs will take their final curtain call in 2015, and while it may be a total bummer, there’s no reason you can’t turn a tidy profit from this morbid fact of life. We have more famous names now than ever before, which unfortunately means more celebrity deaths than ever before. So why not have a bit of ghoulish fun with your friends and family by starting a celebrity death pool? 2015 Celebrity Death Odds 1. George R.R. Martin: 2-1 GRRM is only 66, but he might allow himself to croak in 2015 just to piss of Game of Thrones fans one last time. Valar morghulis! We know, we know – it’s tasteless and macabre and it’s begging for bad karma, but it’s also a way of turning a huge negative into a slight positive. By choosing one of your favorite aging and/or drugged-out celebs, you’re guaranteeing yourself a bit of a silver lining, should they happen to shuffle off the mortal coil this year. Brittany Maynard Remembered By Husband, Mom in Touching Editorial

Brittany Maynard and Dan Diaz celerated their first two Christmases together joyfully. Tragically, they never got to see a third as she passed away this fall. Having become the face of the controversial right-to-die movement, Brittany Maynard ended her life at age 29 with medication prescribed by a doctor. Maynard had terminal brain cancer and moved to Oregon with her mother, stepfather and husband last June to gain access to the state’s Death with Dignity Act. That law, which is extremely polarizing, allows terminally ill people meeting specific criteria to take fatal doses of barbiturates prescribed to them by a doctor. In October, she launched a video campaign with Compassion & Choices, an end-of-life choice advocacy organization, to fight for national access to such laws. “There is not a cell in my body that is suicidal or that wants to die,” she said then, less than a month before she passed away voluntarily. “I want to live.” “I wish there was a cure for my disease but there’s not,” she added, lamenting her condition. “My glioblastoma is going to kill me and that’s out of my control.” “I’ve discussed with many experts how I would die from it and it’s a terrible, terrible way to die. Being able to choose to go with dignity is less terrifying.” Husband Diaz and Brittany’s mother, Debbie Ziegler, shared her feelings and memories about her daughter’s medical journey and decision to die with dignity. “What made Brittany the bravest and most intelligent woman I’ve ever known,” she wrote of her late daughter, is what drove her to this difficult choice. “This ability to decide to live, to decide to notice beauty, to decide to be the most that she could be and then go before everything that made her who she was – was diminished.” Maynard, who loved the outdoors, even took a walk through the woods with her friends and family on the very day she ended her own life, Ziegler recalls. My sweet girl, on the razor’s edge of death, took in the beauty of the day.” “We all make a choice daily, ‘Smile that it happened, or be sad that it has ended,'” Diaz wrote of his late wife. “I try to focus on remembering her and smile.” Diaz carries Maynard’s driver’s license in his wallet, right above his. “Whenever I’m paying for something at the grocery store, I see her picture,” he wrote. “I remember her day-to-day smile, her laugh, a conversation.” “She’s the woman I love.” Mom mourns her, too. “I miss her terribly,” Ziegler wrote . “I am so proud to have been her mother that my heart is full to bursting. Brittany’s ashes lie amongst a grove of trees. She is home.”

Michael Lohan and Kate Major Welcome Second Son!

Michael Lohan and Kate Major are closing out 2014 in style. In adorable style, that is, as the often-troubled couple just welcomed their second son into the world! According to Us Weekly sources, Logan Michael Lohan was born on December 31 at 11:16 a.m., weighing in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces at the time. “Kate and I are ecstatic. A bit late for Christmas but the best gift imaginable,” Lohan tells the tabloid in a statement. “What a way to bring in the new year! God has blessed me with the best children a father could ever ask for — but I’m done!” Lohan and Major got married in Florida a couple months ago and are also the parents to a two-year old boy named Landon. Michael, meanwhile, is already awful dad to famously effed up actress Lindsay Lohan , 28; daughter Ali, 21; and sons Michael Jr., 27, and Cody, 18, with whom he shares with ex-wife Dina Lohan.
