Woman Gets 20 Months in Jail for Trolling Herself on Facebook

Some trolls end up under bridges, some trolls end up in jail for not covering their digital tracks. A British woman angry with her father and step-mother set up fake Facebook accounts in their names and then used the accounts to send herself abusive – and often explicit – messages. 24-year-old Michelle Chapman kept up the posts for more than a year and then reported them to the police. Authorities questioned her puzzled family and even detained her step-mother before tracing the accounts back to Chapman’s own computer. Officers report she was seeking revenge on her father for past grievances and was trying to break up his marriage. Her defense attorney argued Chapman suffers from mental health problems, but that didn’t prevent the court from sentencing her to 20 months in jail. Demi Lovato Reacts to Philip Seymour Hoffman Death: Addiction is a DISEASE!

Jared Padalecki may wish to consult Demi Lovato before sending his next Tweet. Not long after Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a drug overdose, the Supernatural star said his fellow actor’s passing did not qualify as a “tragedy” because he “[threw] his life away to drug. Padalecki even called the death “stupid.” But Lovato, of course, knows a lot about addiction. She went to rehab a couple years ago and has been open since about her history of eating disorders and drug use. “I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is,” Lovato wrote in response to Hoffman’s death, adding: “Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun. … It’s very rare when people can actually predict their addiction and even then, you never know when too much is going to take their life or take a bad batch of whatever it is their using.” Lovato knows of what she speaks. The artist admits to snorting cocaine on airplanes during the very worst of times a few years ago. “This stuff is not something to mess with,” she Tweets of drugs in general. “Why risk it? Addiction IS a disease. Please spread the word so we can take the taboo out of discussing this illness and raising awareness to people of all ages. “RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.. An INCREDIBLE artist who lost his life to this horrible disease.. May you rest peacefully and in complete serenity now that your pain is gone. God Bless…” Bravo, Demi. Police Officer Investigated For Trying to Snap Justin Bieber Jailhouse Pic

A South Florida officer is under investigation after attempting to take a photo of Justin Bieber while the star was in custody on DUI and other charges. Miami Beach police Sgt. Bobby Hernandez confirmed Friday that a female officer is being investigated for possible conduct unbecoming an officer. Punishments can range from a verbal reprimand to termination. The name of the officer trying to sneak a Justin Bieber photo has not been revealed. Bieber was arrested January 23 during what cops describe as an illegal street drag race, though whether he was actually drug racing is debatable. In addition to driving under the influence, the troubled 19-year-old pop singer was charged with resisting arrest and having an invalid driver’s license. Bieber, who was in a car with Chantel Jeffries , pleaded not guilty to all charges. Police say the officer attempted to photograph him while he was in a temporary holding cell, and a higher-ranking officer intervened to stop the attempt. Kirk Cameron, a former child actor who has referred to homosexuality as unnatural and destructive , took to Facebook this week and slammed the Grammy Awards for featuring 33 marriage ceremonies – many of them same-sex couples – on stage Sunday night. The unusual event took place during a performance of performance of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Same Love,” with Queen Latifah officiating the unions. That’s why Family Christian stores and I are giving it to you now. Just the way you want it.” Cameron, a born again Christian, starred in a ” Champions of Marriage ” video in 2012 that was sponsored by The National Organization for Marriage. The insane fight between Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute on this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules wasn’t staged. It was as real as reality TV gets. If you missed it, Stassi accused Kristen of banging her ex-boyfriend on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff and called her a “dirty f–king whore.” The then reared back and smacked Kristen in the face, doused her with a drink and continued to run her mouth as their shocked co-stars looked on … Vanderpump Rules FIGHT Not unlike Sunday’s wild Real Housewives of Atlanta fight , this was not your standard altercation staged for Bravo ratings. Kristen was beyond enraged. She went immediately to the police to get Stassi prosecuted and file a report, although the case hit a dead end when cops wanted a follow-up interview. Lisa Vanderpump , who employs both Stassi and Kristen at her restaurant, also went on record saying that the girl fight was as real as it was regrettable. She told TMZ after the fact, “I know that Stassi was very sorry and regretted it. Is troubled actress Lindsay Lohan reverting to her old ways and using cocaine again? With her friend and mentor Oprah Winfrey footing the bill no less? Star Magazine claims that’s the case, so you know it’s true … not. But it makes for good copy, and given Lindsay’s track record, people might actually buy it. Lindsay Lohan: I’m Sober! According to the tabloid, the celeb was caught treating the posh New York apartment where she’s filming her upcoming OWN network docu-series as a drug den. “Lindsay was 100 percent doing lines of cocaine at the apartment Oprah got her,” an alleged witness says. “She was doing it out in the open, in front of three friends.” Star also claims that last month, Lohan was fiending and desperate to track down a “former fling” to score drugs, eventually inviting several models over. Then they all “went with Lindsay to her house and did a bunch of blow.” Allegedly. As in probably not really, given this celebrity gossip source’s history. As Gossip Cop notes , these quotes are clearly fabricated and if LiLo had been behaving badly (and illegally) in front of people, why did no one report it? That doesn’t mean the quotes aren’t hilarious, though. Like this one: ”At Thanksgiving she told me, ‘I own Oprah’s Next Chapter.
