The Hunger Games Debuts Fiery Mockingjay Pin Motion Poster

If you haven’t read Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games books yet, the blazing new motion poster Lionsgate debuted today for the 2012 Hunger Games film won’t make much sense. Suffice to say, once you begin reading the novels, the sight of a flaming gold bird-shaped pin will stir your senses into action, the symbol of rebellion and of the series’ young heroine, Katniss Everdeen ( Jennifer Lawrence ).

Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls)” Video Gets Premiere Date!

Beyonce has teased us with at least 3 trailers for her new video “Run The World (Girls),” but it looks like the wait is over. Pittsburgh radio station 96.1 Kiss revealed the video’s premiere date via Twitter. The tweet read: “Confirmation: Beyonce’s video “Run The World” premieres Wednesday on American Idol” The station sourced her record label. However, it seems VEVO, the site that was originally supposed to debut the video, hasn’t received the same news. When a fan asked VEVO on Twitter: “is there [an] update about when Ms beyonce Knowles will release her new video run the world (girls)?,” VEVO replied “Not that we’ve heard.” (Last week, VEVO said the video would air on Friday the 13th, but then retracted the statement with: “OK, bad news: ‘Run The World (Girls)’ won’t be out on Friday like we thought. No new date yet. Beyonce is perfecting it”.) So confusing. Let’s just hope the May 18 date is final! Drive Angry’s William Fichtner Plays My Favorite Scene, Recalls Rocky Soap Opera Beginnings

The great tragedy in Drive Angry 3D ‘s lackluster opening last weekend isn’t that the B-movie homage didn’t make more money, but that more people didn’t get to see William Fichtner steal the show as The Accountant, the no-nonsense supernatural CPA from hell doggedly tracking Nic Cage’s every move on earth. Fichtner, one of Hollywood’s most beloved character actors, gives a master class in added-value acting in the film, which he discussed with Movieline last week before musing further on muscle cars, The Godfather Part II , and his soap opera beginnings.
