A List Of Early Voting Dates By State Are you ready to rock the vote for the 2012 presidential election? Many people find it easier and less of a hassle to participate in early voting to avoid the long lines and chaos found on voting day. If you’re one of those people, the folks over at The Grio have pulled together a list early and absentee voting dates by state in honor of voter registration day, which is today. Peep the list and see just how early you can get to the polls and rock the vote in your state: Today is National Voter Registration Day, but it’s also Election Day in more than two dozen states. Jessica Chastain can hold her own with British royalty when it comes to fashion. The Tree of Life actresss and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, each adorn a cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s September Style issue, which includes the magazine’s annual International Best Dressed List. The red-headed beauty — whose cover will go to subsribers —  made the list for the first time, but joins other actors who are no strangers to the honor. Inglourious Basterds actress Diane Kruger made the list for the second time as did Best-Dressed Couple,  The King’s Speech star Colin Firth and his producer wife Livia. Chinese actress Fan Bingbing ( Shaolin),   France’s  Léa Seydoux ( Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol ) and model, actress, filmmaker and Schiaparelli muse Farida Khelfa. How to Get Ahead in Advertising  actor and  Wah-Wah director Richard E. Grant returns to the list for the first time since 2007, and  My Week with Marilyn  heartthrob Eddie Redmayne makes his debut in the Best-Dressed Men category. Jay-Z is named to the list for the first time, along with fellow musician Alicia Keys, who is back on the list for the first time since her inaugural appearance, in 2009. Actor Richard E. Grant makes a fashion comeback as well, named to the list for the first time since 2007. Colin Firth is on the list for the second year in a row, along with stylish wife Livia, in the Best-Dressed Couples category, and newcomer Eddie Redmayne is one of the Best-Dressed Men. Making It Rain On Them Hoes: Sports Illustrated Has Released A List Of The Top 50 Highest Paid American Athletes! The Notable Mentions [Pics]

Yesterday, we brought you the top 15 highest-earning American athletes, but there are still a few of our favorite ballers worth mentioning. Sports Illustrated Top 50 Highest Paid American Athletes Honorable Mentions This year’s list is unique for a couple more reasons. NBA players, who have historically claimed more spots in the Fortunate 50 than any other group, had their salaries slashed by nearly 20 percent this season because of the 66-game schedule brought on by the lockout of 2011. Our findings consisted solely of salary, winnings, bonuses, endorsements and appearance fees. We consulted players’ associations, tour records, agents and news reports. Our endorsement estimates for 2012 came from Burns Entertainment & Sports Marketing, other sports-marketing executives and analysts, and agents. Salary figures were based on current or most recently completed seasons (July 1 for the NFL, which is why Drew Brees, who just signed a $100 million deal last Friday, isn’t on the list). For winnings-based sports (auto racing, golf, tennis), we used the 2011 calendar year. Boxing purses are from June 2011 through May 2012. Candidates for the U.S. 50 had to be American citizens and currently active in their sports. It’s not as those athletes that didn’t make the top 15 are hurtin’ for a buck.
