Little People, Big World Fans to Chris Marek: WTH is Wrong with You?!?

We’re very sad to say it, but… …. here we go again. As has been well documented over the past several months, Amy Roloff receives flak nearly every time she shares a photo of herself and boyfriend Chris Marek. It’s really not clear why. Marek has given the public no reason not to think he’s in this relationship for the right reasons and Amy has been divorced from Matt Roloff for about two years now. And yet:  Roloff goes on vacation with Marek, posts a picture and BAM! The fangs come out from certain followers . There seems to be some kind of vocal minority out there that believes Marek is using Amy for her money and/or that Amy doesn’t have a right to be in a serious relationship right now. The latest example of these critics speaking out took place over the weekend. As you can see above, Amy shared a photograph of her and Marek, out and about on St. Patrick’s Day. “A little Irish sprinkle w/ luck. #goodfriendsgoodtimes #stpatricksday #amyssecondactcontinues,” wrote Amy as a caption to this seemingly harmless picture. But was it really so harmless? No, not according to some trolls who may or may not have some major issues with which they need to deal. One person, for example, called Chris out for not wearing green, while another told him to go ahead and “get lost.” So what that Amy is very happy with Marek, apparently! These Little People, Big World fans (can we even call them that, really?!?) are out for blood when it comes to Chris. Harsh, right? But, wait, it gets worse… Look, we know the Internet can be a mean place. It would be silly of us to pretend otherwise or to list every insult anyone ever hurled at any Roloff out there. This is just a confusing and unfortunate pattern, as Amy even gets attacked for sharing a simple post about Easter . Thankfully, she almost always seems to have a smile on her face. She doesn’t appear as if she’s letting this misguided hate get her down in any way. We’re very happy to see that. And we can’t wait to see more of Amy and her family when TLC finally starts airing new episodes of Little People, Big World on April 3. Slide back up to the top of this post to check out the official preview! View Slideshow: Chris Marek: Who is Amy Roloff’s Boyfriend?!?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Find New Way to Scam Fans, Get So Much Hate for It

One of the big things people don’t like about Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard is that despite being on a big TV show for years, they still beg their fans for money. That and all the bigotry, those are the two big things. It’s just always been so bizarre, because you’d think that the money they made from the show would be more than enough to support them and all their endeavors, at least for a little while longer. If nothing else, Jim Bob owns a fleet of private planes , it seems like he could give them a hand if they were struggling that much. But regardless of what you’d think or how things seem, the fact remains that there have been several occasions when the Dillards reached out to their supporters for some cash assistance. And that’s weird. After getting lots and lots of criticism for all their GoFundMe stunts over the years , and after failing to convince people that they’re just regular missionaries and that’s how things are done, they’ve given up with the fundraisers, for now, anyway. However, Derick did get the family fired from reality television , so you have to make ends somehow, you know? Well, it looks like they’ve come up with a new plan! There’s this foundation called The Tuttle Twins, and they release books for children about things like politics and history — books that the Duggars would enjoy. As the foundation explains on its website, “Each year, hundreds of millions of children are spoon-fed false history, bad economics, and logical fallacies. Your child is not immune.” They say their books are a way for parents to “inoculate their children against this trend to help them really grasp the importance of freedom and free markets.” So we’re sure the books are fine and correct and not at all terrifying. Anyway, The Tuttle Twins is holding this contest on their Facebook page where you share a picture of your kid with one of their books, and if your picture gets the most likes and shares, you win a cash prize of $350. You can see where this is going, right? Jill, who had to know that she has a massively unfair advantage with this kind of thing, entered the contest with this picture of Israel, and just to make sure she gets all those likes, she made sure she was in the photo, too. So far, Jill has far more likes than anyone else in the contest, and there’s really no way that she won’t win. It’s really a shame. There are plenty of families who could legitimately use $350, and for Jill to take that opportunity away from those people is just sad. And lots of people seem to agree. “Completely unfair that this picture was allowed,” one person commented on the photo. “Until recently Jill Duggar Dillard has appeared on TLC for many years. Shame on her for using her celebrity to win a contest with money as a prize.” Another person wrote that she shouldn’t be eligible for the contest because “no one stands a chance against her and that’s really not OK.” “Jill Duggar is using her fame as a public figure to garner more votes for her son, which is NOT fair to all the other entrants who don’t have their names and faces plastered all over the place,” yet another Duggar critic wrote. “Jill should withdraw her entry, and she should be disqualified.” She should, but she won’t — instead, she’s been posting the link to the photo on her Twitter and Instagram accounts and asking everyone to “help Israel win!” The foundation won’t intervene either, because as they explained to their many outraged followers, “We are not going to disqualify somebody merely because they have a larger social network.” View Slideshow: Duggar Family: Their Secret to Raking in Millions on the Side Revealed Subtext: “we are not going to disqualify somebody merely because they have a larger social network because this mess is getting us a whole lot attention and we are living for it.” Hope Jill does something neat with that cash prize!

Amy Roloff Prepares for Easter, Hears It from Jesus Fans

Without intending to do so, Amy Roloff has managed to make a plateful of cookies seem controversial. The Little People, Big World star jumped on Instagram last week to share a delicious looking photo. It features Amy sitting alone at a table, except for the yummy items in front of her; from mini muffins to some kind of bread and even a few painted eggs. “I’m already planning for Easter,” she wrote to open a lengthy caption, continuing as follows: “It’s a special time and celebration to me because what Jesus did! And I’m with my family. Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen is all about sharing what I love with you. “Recipes, food and why I love being in the kitchen making delicious baked goods and meals. That gather people together and around the table.” So… why the aforementioned controversy? Because Easter is arguably the most sacred and important of all Catholic holidays. It is meant as a celebration for the surprising resurrection of Jesus Christ. And Amy is using it as a way to shill for her website and her company?!? Does she have no sense of decorum or respect?!? So argues a few harsh critics, at least. “Really, Amy?!? Must you exploit this holiday for your own selfish gain?” wrote one follower in response to this post. The post, meanwhile, goes on a bit more: I remember how I loved coloring eggs w/ my kids and hiding them before they woke up to find them. And making Easter baskets with something special in it that reminded them what Easter truly is all about. I ’d baked a lemon poppy seed bread (in photo) quiche, cheesecake, honey baked ham and other goodies for our meal. I get excited just thinking about it. We get hungry just thinking about it. But some get angry. “Just stop, Amy,” said another hater. “Of ALL days, this one is not about you.” In the past, Amy’s daughter also got dragged for using God and religion to pitch her own products. Amy, meanwhile, typically hears it from trolls who don’t approve of her romance with Chris Marek . But he wasn’t the source of contention this time around. Concluded Roloff in her caption: My kids are all grown up now and it’ll be fun to see them with their kids at Easter and start their own traditions. What are some of your Easter traditions and things you make? Check out Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen at www.amyjroloff.com. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Have a wonderful almost Spring day. Roloff also used the hashtags “#amyroloffslittlekitchen,” “#Easter,” “#celebratetraditions,” “#familylife,” and “#sharingourstory.” View Slideshow: Roloff Family Photo Album: Little People, Lots of Love! What do you think of this scandal? Is it really a scandal? Is Amy just doing what any entrepreneur anywhere would do? Or should Easter really not be a holiday that gets the hashtag treatment because it is too sacred? We want to hear your opinion, readers!

Audrey Roloff Shares HUGE News About Little Ember

Audrey Roloff has giant news to share about her daughter. And we mean this literally… … because Ember is practically a giant! We’re just paraphrasing the Little People, Big World star herself here, as Audrey just shared the very cute picture above, along with a lengthy caption that provided the photo with an important backstory. “We took this chunky girl to her 6 month check up today! NO WAY has it been 6 months (in 10 more days technically) since we labored through the night and brought our precious baby into this world,” wrote Roloff. She added: “I am honestly so thankful for those wristband rolls, plump checks and squishable thighs.” If you’ll recall, just a few months ago, Audrey opened up in detail about her breastfeeding struggles. She wrote candidly about a condition known as mastitis, which caused EXTREME pain for the new mother any time she offered her child sustenance. Back in November, Audrey said doctors told her a few days after Ember that the child would “[have] trouble gaining weight and they were concerned” because Roloff’s milk supply had dried up. As you might expect, Audrey was very worried. But she persisted. She embraced her breastfeeding journey … and here is Ember is today! She’s nearly six months old and, as Audrey is about to explain, the bundle of joy could not be doing better. “With all the issues I endured in those first few months, we were told that we’d never be able to exclusively breastfed,” Roloff continued in the caption for the first image shared in this article, continuing: “Yet here we are hitting the 90th percentiles on pure mama milk! “This post is not to discourage anyone whose journey looked different than mine, I’m simply praising God for fulfilling this desire of my heart.” The 90th percentile?!? Wow. Way to go, Audrey! And Ember, too, of course. Audrey concluded by offering words of encouragement to other parents out there. “Rock on mamas,” she wrote, adding: Don’t compare your story to mine or anyone else’s. “Consider it joy” for wherever God has you on your motherhood journey. Tag a mama who you admire in the comments and tell them why. Audrey and Jeremy (pictured above with his wife) have consistently shared updates on Ember and photos of Ember over the past five-plus months. They’ve also been very honest about what life as a mother or a father has meant to them so far. For example, Audrey summed up her journey to date with just one word a few days ago: Grace. Where did this come from? Allow Roloff to explain… “When I realize I’m not the kind, patient, and loving wife intend to be, grace. When I get down on myself for working too much or not enough, grace. “When I haven’t checked anything off my to-do list, grace. When I’ve worn the same outfit 7 days in a row, grace.” LOL, we love it. And we agree with it. We’re so glad to hear that Ember is happy and healthy and that Audrey has successfully overcome those early obstacles to end up in such a content place as a mother. Donald Trump Fires Off Dumb Tweets About Global Warming & Vanity Fair, Gets Savagely Roasted

Look, we understand that headline’s not gonna please anyone. Either you’re a dyed-in-the-wool #MAGA ass and you came here just to deride us as a bunch of libtard cuck-flakes in the comments, or you’re part of the majority of Americans who wishes the president would stop tweeting entirely, in which case, you probably think we didn’t go nearly far enough. But hey, our New Year’s resolution is to piss off as many people as many people as possible, and we decided to get an early start! We kid, of course. Resolving to offend people in 2018 is like resolving to breathe in and out. It’s gonna happen no matter what, and it doesn’t require any active effort. For evidence of just how easy it is to piss off tens of millions of people these days, you need look no further than the tweets of America’s P-ssy-Grabber-In-Chief, Captain Offensive Pants. No doubt still clad in a Trump Hotel bathrobe , the president frequently outrages half the planet before he’s even dropped his morning Big Mac deuce. While our more heathen-y presidents may have taken the holidays off in order to drink Starbucks and slaughter a virgin, the Trump Train kept right on rolling!  By which we mean the 71-year-old leader of the free world spent the season of peace talking enough trash on social media to shame a recently-dumped middle school girl or a butthurt Star Wars fan. And who were the Donald’s targets this time around? Well, there was Vanity Fair , which committed the grievous offense of cracking jokes about a woman Donald once threatened to imprison, and then there was planet Earth, which has apparently pissed Trump off by continuing to exist despite his apocalyptic environmental policies. First, some context: In case you haven’t heard, it’s effing cold in the northeast. Like, even by “winter in the northeast” standards. Someone told this to Donald, and his response was apparently to crack his knuckles and start sticking it to the libs: “In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!” Now, hopefully, we don’t have to tell you that’s a dumb thing to say or point out that weather and climate are not the same thing. A cold day isn’t an indication that the planet is stable anymore than a single hot day is evidence that it’s heating up. The world’s scientists are concerned due to data collected over several decades which indicates a disturbing trend toward hotter … ya know what? Let’s just move on to less-terrifying idiocy… As you may have heard, there was controversy this week over a video posted by Vanity Fair , in which several staffers expressed their 100 percent-justified belief that Hillary Clinton should probably step away from the political arena for the foreseeable future. The situation outraged the president, not because of the content of the clip, but because VF dared to issue an apology for the sake of those who found the video offensive. “Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!” Trump tweeted. Never mind that our commander-in-chief is still devoting his days to picking petty fights with various media outlets, Anna Wintour is the editor of Vogue , not Vanity Fair. Sure, they both star with “V,” but if we Donald off easy on this one, next week he’ll be referring to Justin Trudeau as the prime minister of Cambodia. Needless to say, Trump was roasted to a crisp over both tweets, but sadly seeing our president get savagely corn-cobbed by the entirety of Twitter is one of the many things we’ve been forced to get used to in 2017. Cheers to the new year! *guzzles large quantity of Drano* View Slideshow: 12 Donald Trump Tweets That Outline His Plans as President

Tori Roloff Has Something to Say About Motherhood

Tori Roloff is not exactly known as an outspoken individual. From what we gather when we watch Little People, Big World online and when we follow her on social media, Tori is relatively quiet and extremely kind. Her usual Instagram photos and messages? They mostly consist of family snapshots such as the one above, along with harmless captions such as the affiliated one below: “Sun…? At the beach…? In December…? Dream.” But Roloff appears to have finally been pushed too far. She just took her 634,000 Instagram followers by surprise after sharing a somewhat pointed message (at least by her standards) aimed at critics of parenthood. Or at least at those who have a misguided notion of what being a parent entails. Along with the extremely sweet picture below of her husband and son, Tori penned the following speech on Thursday night: One thing I’ve heard a lot lately on social media, and tv, and even in person has me a little upset… I hear people talking about how “life is over” when you have a kid. I think this is such a lie. She went on to explain why she objects so strenuously to this notion: I have found life after having a kid. I’ve found something I can completely pour my soul in to and something that gives me purpose. I hear people tell others that “ah it’s all over from here”… what is? The fact that I can’t stay out all night partying (that’s cool my bedtime is 9 anyway). Having a kid is honestly a gift I know i don’t deserve from God. Life isn’t over when you have a kid… it’s only just beginning! Amen, right?!? Tori rarely takes such a stance online and she rarely brings up her faith in this sort of manner. But having a child can change you. Tori and Zach Roloff welcomed son Jackson Kyle into the world on May 10 and have not been able to stop gushing over him ever since. “I am so obsessed with every move he makes,” Roloff flat out said last week about her first child. She added at the time: “His little fingers. His coos. And I can’t even with his gummy two tooth smile. He literally breaks my heart (in a good way) every time he moves.” Jackson has the same gene for dwarfism as his father, but both Tori and Zach have made it clear this won’t really have an impact on the way they raise him. “Whatever he wants to do in life, we’re going to find a way to help him do it. That’s our job in life now,” Zach told People Magazine shortly after he became a father. What a great attitude. And what a terrific couple. Tori and Zach are likely as “real” as it gets for a husband and wife featured on reality television. We completely agree with Tori’s take here on parenthood and we continued to wish them good luck and happiness. View Slideshow: Jackson Roloff Baby Photos: OMG! He’s So Cute!

Chris Marek: Is He Using Amy Roloff for Fame and Fortune?

Amy Roloff is once again facing heat for… …. posing for photos with her long-time boyfriend? Sadly, yes. For this singular reason. As we’ve documented on The Hollywood Gossip for several weeks, fans of Little People, Big World can’t seem to fully accept Amy’s romance with Chris Marek. The two have been together for nearly all of 2017 and Marek has given social media users no reason to doubt his intentions when it comes to Roloff. But this doesn’t mean they haven’t gone in search of some on their own. Just over a month ago, for instance, Roloff shared what appears to be a simple, basic, harmless, cute picture of herself and Marek. Yet a few followers didn’t take it that way. “Big mistake, believe me, Amy can do better [than] him, he’s just in it for the game [and] getting his face out there,” wrote one critic as an example. What prompted this line of thinking? We truly have no idea. But it forced Amy to come out and defend Marek, as she even took a shot at her own reality show in the process: “Try not to make quick assumptions about anyone from what you see on an edited show.” Then, just a few days ago, Roloff again posted some sweet pictures of herself and Marek, only to be told by some troll that she should “dump” Chris and ” find someone new .” We remain confounded by all this disdain – but also almost impressed by the lengths users will go to in order to try and prove their misguided points. Take the very first photo above, for example. This is what Amy wrote as a caption to it: What a great week bf Christmas week with getting together w/ good friends! This time of year reminds me What is beautiful about life – the gift God gave to us in Jesus, moments w/ friends, people you love, family, gathering around the table sharing , making moments to remember. Have a good week ahead everyone. And, amazingly/hilariously, this is what someone wrote in response in the Comments section of Instagram: “Amy, Chris nearly blocked your head out! “Your[sic] in love… but doubt he is! More in love with himself and the show. Please Amy watch for the red flags! Don’t want to see you get hurt!” Yes, this person is accusing Marek of purposely using his head to block Roloff’s face in the aforementioned image. This person is then insinuating that this is a sign Marek is only dating Amy because she’s rich and famous. The argument is obviously preposterous simply on its own. But let’s break it down a bit, shall we? First, Amy isn’t all that rich and famous. We don’t mean that as any kind of insult; it’s simply a fact. We’re sure she’s doing perfectly well for herself, but we can’t imagine she’s banking anything deep into seven figures per year or anything. Second, Marek is a very successful real estate agent and has been for years. He has no need to dig for any gold. But try telling this to abusers of the World Wide Web. “What a delusional person she is,” one hater actually wrote about Amy, adding: “Left the old short man for a tall homeless unemployed tall ugly man… split after she took all of his money and property.” SIGH . For the record, not that this even needs to be said: Amy did not take all of Matt Roloff’s money; and Chris has a home and is employed. But thanks for playing, loser Internet person. Jasmine Washington: Paternity Suit Against Kirk Frost DISMISSED?!

Well, this is bonkers. Even for Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta . Remember how Kirk Frost knocked up Jasmine Washington but continued to adamantly deny being Jasmine’s baby daddy? They had to go to court over it. Jasmine’s paternity suit has now reportedly been thrown out — not for lack of evidence, but because of a weird technicality. And there’s another complication. We don’t know what’s next for Jasmine Washington and her baby, Kannon. Okay, so as we’re sure that you remember, Rasheeda Frost finally, finally dumped her husband . A lot of spouses ignore cheating. But it gets a lot harder to convince yourself that your husband’s loyal to you when his child starts gestating inside of another woman. But that’s what happened. Reportedly, Kirk Frost was supporting Jasmine as long as she remained his side ho. But her pregnancy was a complication that he apparently neither anticipated nor appreciated. Jasmine named their child Kannon — it’s not super clear if she was just putting a K on “Cannon” or if she was naming her child after the Shinto deity of the same name. You never know. Anyway, not only did Jasmine assert that Kirk Frost was the baby daddy … but VH1 outed Kirk as the baby’s father in the most casual way imaginable. But it looks like Kirk Frost is determined to avoid responsibility with the son that almost everyone seems to agree is his. And their legal struggle is where this story gets genuinely bonkers. (Because, let’s face it, a guy knocking up his mistress and then refusing to accept paternity isn’t exactly rare) Bossip reports that Jasmine’s case got thrown out. Like we said, it’s not a dismissal over DNA results or or anyone being caught lying. It’s this technicality — or really more of a deadline — that strikes us as so absurd that we hope that she’s able to appeal. See, the judge in Jasmine’s case instructed her to serve Kirk Frost with papers and gave her a two week deadline. Reportedly, Jasmine’s attorneys had trouble locating Kirk. Whether he was deliberately moving around and/or hiding from the attorneys who were trying to serve him papers, we don’t know. (But probably) Kirk Frost apparently did end up getting served with papers, but it was only after two months. That is a good deal longer than two weeks. Which had reportedly resulted in Jasmine’s case getting thrown out. Except … maybe not? Interestingly, HollywoodLife reports that Jasmine Washington’s lawyers say that Bossip’s report is mistaken, and that her case has not been thrown out. You might look at this cynically, and say that Jasmine’s only after money. After all, as Kirk’s mistress, she says that he gave her a monthly allowance and also use of a car — which stopped after Kannon was born, whens he broke up with him. But … any money that she’s after would be child support. Which, if Kirk Frost really is the father of Kannon, is something that he legally owes to his child. You know that “if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime” rhyme? Well, the same basic concept applies to parental responsibilities and having sex with your mistress. Ben Affleck Checks Into Rehab Again Following Latest Relapse

It’s been quite a tumultuous year for Ben Affleck. 2017 began with news that Affleck had completed rehab  and attained sobriety again after relapsing following more than a decade of sobriety. Sadly, it seems Ben’s battle with the bottle didn’t end there. Radar Online is reporting that Affleck recently checked back into rehab , marking his third stint this year. Insiders say the Oscar-winner was encouraged to seek treatment by his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his brother, Casey Affleck. “Ben relapsed,” a source tells the site. “Jen and Casey are willing to try anything, and they don’t care if the methods are controversial.” The “controversial methods” remark refers to Ben’s choice of treatment facility. Affleck reportedly checked into Passages Malibu, which eschews the traditional 12-step method in favor of an “unorthodox holistic” approach to addiction. Ben had previously been enrolled in an out-patient program, but according to a source close the actor, he recently decided that he needs a “constant support network” in order to remain sober. Passages encourages patients to remain in treatment for a minimum of 45 days, and since Ben was first spotted at the facility on December 10, it seems he’ll remain at the facility through the holidays. The source was unable to say for certain if Affleck will be able to see his three kids on Christmas, but notes that he is free to come and go from treatment as he sees fit: “Ben isn’t a prisoner and is fully committed to seeing his children and fulfilling his work commitments outside the center,” the insider tells Radar. Rumors that Ben was once again struggling with alcoholism began over the summer when he was spotted drinking with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus , once while traveling in New England, and again during a trip to her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Shortly thereafter, Ben began his outpatient program, but it seems he felt he needed a more comprehensive approach to the problem. Those who know him best say Affleck has been despondent over newly-surfaced reports about his past behavior. Recent accusations of Affleck groping female colleagues and generally behaving inappropriately prior to his marriage have reportedly taken a considerable emotional toll on the 45-year-old. Here’s hoping Ben is able to finally find a method of treatment that works for him. View Slideshow: 25 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab
