Ben Affleck Checks Into Rehab Again Following Latest Relapse

It’s been quite a tumultuous year for Ben Affleck. 2017 began with news that Affleck had completed rehab  and attained sobriety again after relapsing following more than a decade of sobriety. Sadly, it seems Ben’s battle with the bottle didn’t end there. Radar Online is reporting that Affleck recently checked back into rehab , marking his third stint this year. Insiders say the Oscar-winner was encouraged to seek treatment by his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and his brother, Casey Affleck. “Ben relapsed,” a source tells the site. “Jen and Casey are willing to try anything, and they don’t care if the methods are controversial.” The “controversial methods” remark refers to Ben’s choice of treatment facility. Affleck reportedly checked into Passages Malibu, which eschews the traditional 12-step method in favor of an “unorthodox holistic” approach to addiction. Ben had previously been enrolled in an out-patient program, but according to a source close the actor, he recently decided that he needs a “constant support network” in order to remain sober. Passages encourages patients to remain in treatment for a minimum of 45 days, and since Ben was first spotted at the facility on December 10, it seems he’ll remain at the facility through the holidays. The source was unable to say for certain if Affleck will be able to see his three kids on Christmas, but notes that he is free to come and go from treatment as he sees fit: “Ben isn’t a prisoner and is fully committed to seeing his children and fulfilling his work commitments outside the center,” the insider tells Radar. Rumors that Ben was once again struggling with alcoholism began over the summer when he was spotted drinking with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus , once while traveling in New England, and again during a trip to her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Shortly thereafter, Ben began his outpatient program, but it seems he felt he needed a more comprehensive approach to the problem. Those who know him best say Affleck has been despondent over newly-surfaced reports about his past behavior. Recent accusations of Affleck groping female colleagues and generally behaving inappropriately prior to his marriage have reportedly taken a considerable emotional toll on the 45-year-old. Here’s hoping Ben is able to finally find a method of treatment that works for him. View Slideshow: 25 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab

Audrey Roloff: RIPPED for This Photo of Ember Jean

Audrey Roloff is very open about three things on her Instagram account: Her deep faith. Her affection for her daughter. Her desire to sell various forms of attire and promote her brand. And when number-three gets mixed up with either of the first two points, followers sometimes take issue. Back in August, for example, Audrey wrote that she was nervous to give birth, but then explained that she felt comforted by her belief in Jesus Christ. “Thank you Lord for being the author of life, my comforter, my strength, and my shield,” the Little People, Big World star concluded in a caption. Very poignant, right? The thing is, she then included a link to her online store and added: We can’t wait to meet our baby girl and dress her in all the new baby onesies that I launched in my shop yesterday!!! A handful of critics questioned whether it was right for Audrey to gush over God in one sentence … and then promote capitalism in the next sentence. Was she basically exploiting her religion just to sell some clothing? Now, many of those same critics are out in force. As a caption to the first image shared above, Roloff has written the following: Me and my girl. We go together like coffee and milk. Where are my fellow coffee lovin mamas at? I just launched these tees in my shop @shopalwaysmore. You can get get the onesie and the tee for 25% OFF when you use the code: BUNDLE at checkout. Alwaysmore.com The TLC personality then used the hashtags “#shopalwaysmore #alwaysmoremilk #alwaysmorecoffee” to wrap up her post. Something just feels a bit icky about all of this, right? No one doubts Audrey’s faith or her love for little Ember Jean. Not at all. That would be crazy. However, is it a tad unseemly to essentially use your own small child as a model for your clothing line? (And let’s ignore the fact that not everyone likes milk in his or her coffee!). Fans, of course, can easily argue that Audrey is just trying to make a living. The money she’ll earn from these t-shirts will be used to support the same daughter with whom she’s posing in all these adorable pictures, including the Roloff Christmas card . Moreover, they’d likely state, take a frickin chill pill. We’re talking about a simple picture here. Ember isn’t being made to do anything that a million other babies don’t do on a daily basis and no one is forcing readers to click on any links or purchase any items. We can see both sides of the argument. Where do YOU stand? Should Roloff stop combining thoughts on religion and images of her loved ones with her website/company promotion? Or is this all much ado about nothing at all? View Slideshow: Ember Jean Roloff: All Her Precious Pictures!

Tori Roloff Gushes Over Precious Baby Jackson with New Pic!

While we all wait with bated breath for TLC to announce when Little People, Big World is coming back , we don’t have to wait for news of the Roloffs. Because social media exists. And Tori Roloff is making use of it to tell us exactly how much she loves her precious baby, Jackson Roloff. Or, as the family has taken to calling him: Baby J. Awwww! If you’re finding yourself overwhelmed by Jackson’s cuteness, you’re not alone. Not even Jackson’s own mother is immune. In fact, if anything, Tori Roloff is “I have such FOMO when it comes to this kid.” Before you start googling things or, worse, trying to come up with your own guesses for that achronym, it means: fear of missing out . “I am so obsessed with every move he makes.” That’s human instinct in a nutshell, right there. (Tori Roloff’s post continues, but first, let’s remember exactly how inescapably adorable Jackson Roloff is) He’s. So. Cute. Tori can only begin to list his most precious attributes: “His little fingers. His coos. And I can’t even with his gummy two tooth smile.” We  can’t even, either. “He literally breaks my heart (in a good way) every time he moves.” That’s, again, human instinct. Your whole system gets flooded with oxytocin. (This doesn’t just happen with babies; making your favorite person laugh or looking at videos of puppies can do the same thing) “I love being this kids mom.” A lot of parents like to gripe about their kids (totally unfair), so it’s so nice to hear this from Tori. “God has blessed me in such a way. He’s made me realize things don’t matter — people do.” Different people have different views of materialism, but we can probably all agree that your children should come first. Tori ends the beautiful note by reiterating her affection for her infant son, and referring to him by his nickname. “Love you so much baby j.” That’s followed by a cyan heart emoji and the tag: “#babyjroloff” We like the name Jackson, but you know what? “Baby J” is sweet and has the same number of syllables as Ember Jean . That’s probably not why they came up with the nickname — those tend to crop up organically — but it’s a cute little coincidence. Jackson is adorable and, now that Jackson’s over 6 months old , it might not be long before he’s talking. Like, for-real talking. (Different babies develop at different rates — some don’t talk until they’re over a year old, and that’s okay!) For now, though, his parents and the rest of the Roloff clan can just enjoy how precious and sweet he is. Baby J doesn’t need words to show them how much he loves them. Ember Jean recently passed a couple of “milestones,” herself. Not, like, developmental milestones — she’s still only a few months old. But she went to “help” pick out a Christmas tree. And she had her first trip to the beach! Right now, the developmental gap between Ember Jean and Baby J might as well be the grand canyon — just a few months, at their age, make a world of difference. But, in just a few years, their age difference will seem almost meaningless. These two precious cousins will get to grow up, side-by-side. We can’t wait to watch them every step of the way!

Jackson Roloff Had the BEST Time at the Zoo!

Grandparents and grandchildren share a special bond. The Roloffs are certainly no exception. Matt Roloff took to social media to share that it’s getting harder for him to spend time away from his grandbabies, even for just a few days. And we can see why — because in the mean time, Zach Roloff took sweet baby Jackson on a surprise trip to the zoo. And these pictures are golden. This year, Matt Roloff got to welcome two grandchildren into the world. His first two. Early this summer, sweet Jackson Roloff was born . And then, only four months later, precious Ember Jean was born . As a grandparent, that’s a dream come true. (It’s also, we’re sure, exciting stuff for Zach and Tori and for Jeremy and Auj, what with becoming parents and all) Here’s the thing, though. Matt Roloff lives on Roloff Farms with most of the rest of his family, but he has a habit of heading down to Arizona. Most of us are sick to death of this warm weather and would like to squeeze in a few weeks of fall weather before winter arrives, but Matt Roloff likes to enjoy downtime and the warmer weather that Arizona has to offer. But he’s taken to social media to share how difficult that trip is becoming, for one — or two — adorable reasons. Matt Roloff shared this precious photo of his son, Zach, and his grandson, Jackson. Jackson, you can just barely tell, is still dressed like a pumpkin. What a delight. Matt’s caption for the photo, however, proved to be bittersweet: “Had to say good bye to these guys for a couple of days …” Awww, we know that it’s not easy. Especially when you can’t explain to a baby why they won’t see you for a few days. Matt continued: “Headed to Arizona in search of some warm sunny weather..” Again, we’ve absolutely had our fill of warmth and sunlight for 2017, but some people like it more than others. (And we should remember that Matt Roloff is a grandparent and some people, as they get older, become sensitive to cold, particularly in their joints) “Getting harder and harder to leave even just for a few days. Can’t stand to miss even a minute with these precious grand kids.” You know, that’s normal for grandparents who live exceptionally close to their grandchildren. Kids can change overnight. What if your grandbaby learns a new word and you’re not there? What if they learn to walk? And Zach Roloff took to Instagram to share what Jackson got up to. Zach and Tori took Jackson on an impromptu zoo trip. As Zach explains, he’s not usually a huge fan of the zoo: “Great day at the Zoo and World Forestry Discovery Center Museum. Never been too much of a fan of zoos because all the people and the small enclosures but today was class. Nobody was there and the animals were all out. Great day with the family as well.” The trick to visiting lots of places is to go there when it’s not crowded. It’s like going out to dinner on a Tuesday instead of on Friday night. Zach also hinted at a reason that he, especially, might not be comfortable in big crowds … and it’s not his height. Not directly. Zach ended his post with Samuel 16:7, a biblical passage about ignoring what a person looks like because what matters is what they look like on the inside. Interestingly, in context, the passage is referring to a super good-looking man whom the faithful are supposed to reject, but we can see how the words could be a great comfort to someone who feels judged for his appearance by total strangers. And speaking of being judged, Zach and these adorable baby photos got actual hate in the comments for going to a zoo. Zoo animals are either born in captivity or rescued, folks. Often rescued from actual horrible conditions. There are some bad zoos in the world, but most of them are essentially massive animal rescues with habitats and trained professionals. Don’t hate someone for supporting an educational facility that brings joy to children while helping countless wild and even endangered species. Just relax and look at the cute baby: View Slideshow: Jackson Roloff Baby Photos: OMG! He’s So Cute!

Ember Roloff: What’s Her Favorite Song?

Audrey Roloff has given Little People, Big World some fun insight into her daughter. First, the beloved TLC star shared a new photo of her baby girl. And, what can we say, it’s downright adorable… Second, Roloff has written something interesting about Ember Jean, who is just over six weeks old. Following a general status update on Ember upon the occasion of her one-month birthday, Audrey is now here to tell us what song her child likes to hear most often. Along with what change Audrey has made to the lyrics. “I sure do spend a lot of time in bed, but never actually sleeping of course,” Audrey wrote as a caption to the photo above. And it’s true: She and Jeremy Roloff have mentioned on multiple occasions that Ember isn’t exactly a great sleeper. Not yet, at least. But Audrey wasn’t trying to criticize her child with this post. Quite the opposite, really. “How could you not want to just cuddle in bed all day with a face like that?!” she continued, adding: “Ember likes it when I sing to her – and she’s probably the only person on the planet that does – but for some reason I can never think of any other songs to sing except amazing grace!” That is a classic. And it’s appropriate for someone as dedicated to her faith as Audrey Roloff. Added the mother of one: “They other day I was singing it to her on repeat and I suddenly had an urge to replace the “me’s” with “you’s.” “This verse became particularly encouraging as I sang it over her instead of myself, “The Lord has promised good to YOU His word YOUR hope secures; He will YOUR sheild and portion be… “As long as life endures, Yet when YOUR flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, YOU shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace.” It’s been so nice to see Audrey open up a lot more of late when it comes to Ember. For a little while there, the reality star admitted that the adjustment to parenthood was a struggle, but she’s been sharing more and more photos recently of her bundle of joy. And Ember has even gotten out of the house to enjoy some special trips . We’re grateful to Audrey and Jeremy for opening up their lives in this kind of manner to their fans and we continue to wish their family health and happiness. Jackson Roloff Can Now Do WHAT at 5 Months?!?

We hope you’re sitting down for this shocking piece of news. We hope you aren’t operating any heavy machinery. Okay? Ready? Here we go: Jackson Kyle Roloff is now FIVE months old!!!! Totally crazy, right? It really does seem like only yesterday that Zach and Tori Roloff were happily informing fans that the latter had given birth to the couple’s first child. That blessed occasion took place on May 12 and this beloved couple has been incredibly open ever since regarding the status of little Jackson. They sat down for an interview with People Magazine shortly after he entered the world, for example, and confirmed that he has dwarfism. And, since then, both Tori and Zach have been constantly updating their Instagram feeds with photos of Jackson. The latest (above) is a portrait of the tiny human at five months old and it was shared along with the following message from Tori: – Jackson is grabbing everything. – He is super smiley in the morning and slightly grumpy in the evening. – Bath time is still our favorite. – Jackson can now lift himself up on his stomach. – He loves making noises with his feet. – We can feel his first two teeth coming in. – He has been sleeping in his own room all month and is rockin it!. – And J loves hanging out at the pumpkin patch! Tori concluded her update by writing “Love you so much sweet boy!” So do we! We’re so grateful to Zach and Tori for keeping us this well apprised when it comes to their son. It’s been a very busy few days for Jackson, based on his parents’ social media activity. For example, his mother dressed him up like a pumpkin and sat him down in a patch in the family’s farm in what just might be THE CUTEST PHOTO WE’VE EVER SEEN IN OUR LIVES. Also, Jackson got a change to hang out with his cousin, Ember Jean, who was born just over a month ago to Audrey and Jeremy Roloff. Might this actually be the cutest photo in the whole wide world? Back when Jackson turned four months old , Tori said he could roll over and occasionally hold his head up. He was also coming off his first airplane ride and weighed nearly 16 pounds. It’s amazing how much babies can change over the course of just a few weeks, isn’t it? Take a look at all the pictures below to get an idea of what we mean: View Slideshow: Jackson Roloff Baby Photos: OMG! He’s So Cute!

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff: Agonizing Over How to Raise Ember!

On September 10th, not even a month ago, baby Ember Jean was born to Audrey and Jeremy Roloff. Jer and Auj are losing sleep and overwhelmed, but they’re making it work. And they’re looking ahead to the future. Like all good, first-time parents, it sounds like these two are agonizing over how to raise their kid. Being a parent is the toughest job in the world. Recently, Jeremy Roloff shared the first close-up photo of Ember Jean’s face . Along with it, he shared a little about his experience so far with being a parent. “Ember Jean is two and a half weeks old already!” Now she’s closer to a month — she’ll soon be growing up before our very eyes. “She’s doing great, loving life and practicing her singing whenever she’s hungry or needs to poo… Auj has had a tough few weeks, (more on that over on her profile) but that’s not to negate the fact that she’s having fun and enjoying being a first time mother!” Audrey Roloff’s postpartum symptoms are absolutely zero fun, but she has a support network and she’s going to be okay. And so will their cat. “Pine, Pine is wondering why we brought this “thing” home.” Cats can actually develop beautiful bonds with their humans, but right now the cat has to be like “this is the most useless, noisiest hairless cat in this entire colony of hairless cats.” Because, to cats, we’re all just huge, dumb cats. “And me, I’m a Dad – loving the perspective shifts and late night cuddles while I read my book.” With the exhaustion and stress comes a sense of satisfaction. Having kids is a milestone for a lot of people. The new parents spoke to Us Weekly about their anxieties about raising Ember Jean . “Just balancing life while being a mom, like work and marriage and other family members and friendships and all of that, just trying to find a rhythm.” We all know what work-life balance is like. Being a parent means always putting your child first, but if you forget to take time for yourself, you’ll completely lose your mind. What’s eating at Jer? Questions of how to raise Ember. ““For me, specifically, just parenting in the sense of discipline when they start getting older and that just makes me nervous because you can do it really, really right and you can also do it really, really wrong.” Our first comment is, of course, don’t panic. While it’s true that a lot of child-abusers use “discipline” as a euphemism for their abuse, there are non-abusive parents who use the term. It looks like Jer is very conscious of how awful some parenting can be, what with is “you can also do it really, really wrong,” line. Obviously, abuse is in the “really, really wrong” category. But it’s possible to develop an adversarial relationship with your children even without, you know, causing them pain. If a parent is obsessed with consequences, or always winning (and never picking their battles), you’re probably going to see a child who grows up full of resentment, literally counting down the months and weeks and days until they escape off to college. You might get a rebellious rule-breaker even before that, too — depending upon the child. And if you do, that’s 100% on you. The key is to, well, find a balance — don’t be an authoritarian parent, but also don’t be automatically permissive of everything. The general advice is to be authoritative — that is, you know that you’re in charge and they do to — without feeling the need to assert your authority at all times. The couple mentions that Audrey was brought up in a very strict environment, while Jeremy had a lot more freedom. We’d say that the Roloff kids turned out pretty well, so taking advice from Matt and Amy sounds like a good idea. Jeremy says that everyone has one idea or another. “Ultimately, like, everyone is gonna tell you all these different things to do and try.” Yeah, some people’s ideas will horrify you, but others might be helpful. “There are so many different ways to parent and raise a baby and all that, but ultimately just kind of trusting your gut I guess and doing what you think is best.” Depends on your gut, to be honest. “I feel like we feel confident in it.” He’s confident, but he’s honest. “I think we’re ready for this journey, but are we prepared? No. I don’t think you can be prepared. Similarly to marriage, you just do it and it happens and then you kind of catch up to it.” He’s right — no one is ever 100% prepared for their first child. Because each child is different, we’d say that no one is 100% prepared for their second or third children, either. But the fact that they’re thinking and worrying about how to do things the right way is a great sign. Not thinking about what’s right, not worrying, is how you become a bad parent. Jeremy Roloff Thanks Audrey Roloff’s Mom … But Where is Amy?

Little People, Big World stars  Audrey and Jeremy Roloff welcomed their baby girl into this world on Sunday, September 10. Since then, we’ve had a few updates about how Audrey and their adorable daughter, Ember Jean, are doing. But while we’ve learned that Audrey’s mom is helping out, there’s been zero mention of Jeremy’s mother, Amy. And that has some fans concerned. Ember Jean is 8 days old! Audrey’s pregnancy seemed to last forever — and it did last beyond Audrey Roloff’s due date . That’s not so unusual, though. Due dates are the results of very educated guesses, but each person and each pregnancy can vary significantly. But we’re obviously so excited that the Roloff family has this precious new addition! Not to mention that a lot of fans and viewers are hoping to see plenty of Ember on Little People, Big World . Jeremy Roloff took to his Instagram story to reveal that his mother-in-law has been pitching in to help out. We know that Audrey has been exhausted after giving birth and, since then, pretty much constantly feeding Ember. (That’s pretty normal — some babies feed every hour or every other hour, day and night, for weeks on end) So it’s fantastic that her mother can lend some assistance. “So Audrey’s mom came over for a little bit to help, which has been just amazing. So I’m gonna run to the store and do our little list of errands, stock up on some stuff.” First of all, it’s always great to see people crushing the stereotype of not getting along with their in-laws. (Seriously, they’re your family and you presumably met them before getting married — if your spouse likes their parents, please don’t have an adversarial attitude about them) Second of all, though, that help must be very welcome. Obviously, the couple — who usually don’t balk at sharing anything and everything about their lives with social media — hasn’t been able to give updates as frequently as before. They’re busy. Having a newborn is a lot of work. (Having a baby of any age is constant work, actually) But there’s been something missing from Jeremy and Audrey’s updates. Or someone missing, we should say: Amy Roloff. This is Amy’s second grandchild. Haters have slammed Amy Roloff for not posting photos with baby Ember (and for posting sponsored content instead), especially after she has posted so many pics with grandbaby Jackson. A lot of fans are wondering what’s going on. It could be that Amy hasn’t seen her granddaughter … which would be a huge difference from her hands-on grandmothering with Jackson. And, as fans speculate, that could be a problem that the couple has with Amy … or some sort of inexplicable disinterest on Amy’s part. But let’s consider other possibilities, okay? One is that, maybe , Jeremy and Audrey have asked that only they share photos of Ember initially. (Note that we don’t have any close-ups of Ember yet — some parents wait a while for things like a newborn’s coloring to clear up before sharing pics) So it’s entirely possible that Amy, who has posted her happiness about Ember’s birth and congratulated her son and daughter-in-law in a public post, has photos but is respecting their wishes and not sharing them yet. Maybe Jeremy only got a chance to share that his mother-in-law was helping out while running errands and hasn’t had a chance to give his mom a shout-out because he’s had his hands full. So … let’s not speculate too wildly, okay? There are plenty of possibilities. View Slideshow: Audrey Roloff Baby Bump Pics: Look at It Grow!
