About a year ago, Audrey Roloff stirred up a bit of controversy by doling out advice to fellow married folks. First, she compared marriage to war , saying husbands and wives enter a “battlefield” on a regular basis. In a semi-rambling blog post, the Little People, Big World star asked the following: “What are you doing to protect your marriage against the dangers of, porn, workaholism, worry, pride, stress, fear, loss, addiction, comparison, social media, emotional cheating, that girl at the gym, in-laws, hormones, or idolizing your kids?” Roloff got a lot of pushback for her comments, which she followed up suggesting that married couples she often recite their vows to each other. In bed. During sex. “I’ll spare you the details, but it was the most intimate thing we have ever done in our marriage,” Roloff wrote at the time . “And probably the most intimate thing I have ever done in my life.” Roloff also received some Internet side-eye for this recommendation. Therefore, perhaps sick of getting flak for what she has to say to other wives and their husband, Audrey has shifted her focus. In her latest Instagram post, the reality star has directed her attention to single ladies around the world. This is her Beyonce moment, people! “To all the single girls out there… wait for the kind of man who wants to sit and talk with you by a campfire more than he wants to sit by you watching Netflix on a couch,” Roloff writes, expanding on this theme as follows: “Wait for a man who comes to your door when he picks you up instead of just texting, ‘I’m here.’ “Wait for a man who is more dedicated to pursuing Jesus than he is to pursuing his career ambitions. “Wait for a man who wants to get to know your friends and family instead of always insisting on hanging out alone. “Wait for a man who you’d want to be the father of your children instead of a man who’s still acting like a child.” Audrey has clearly found a man that fits these qualifications. She has been gushing over Jeremy Roloff for many weeks and months now, especially in light of the couple expecting its first child this September. “I know it may seem harsh, but I say these things to encourage you and give you hope,” Roloff said, seemingly aware that she may be inviting more criticism with these words of advice. She concludes with a message of hope: “That kind of man is out there. Don’t believe the big fat lie that tells you, “Oh I’ll never find someone like that.” Jeremy is not an exception. “Men like this DO exist. Pray for him and wait for him.” Audrey added the hashtag “#beating50percent” to her post, which is a reference to the fact that one-half of all marriages in the U.S. end in divorce. She and Jeremy are beating those odds at the moment. And soon they’ll be changing diapers! View Slideshow: Audrey Roloff Baby Bump Pics: Look at It Grow! The TLC stars started dating in 2011, got married in 2014 and will become parents this fall. As you can see above, Audrey has been keeping social media followers well apprised of her baby bump status on Instagram, while the cable network is expected to air new episodes of Little People, Big World in a few months. It’s very safe to assume that Audrey’s pregnancy and delivery will be a central storyline when the popular series returns.
Slowly but surely, Jacob Roloff is stepping back into the spotlight. The former Little People, Big World star didn’t merely quit his family’s TLC reality show last summer… … he did so in VERY loud and memorable fashion. In July of 2016, Roloff called out the series and also his loved ones for being totally fake and scripted . He simply couldn’t handle it any longer and chose to go off on his own instead; he’s basically been road-tripping around the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and dogs ever since. But Roloff has been keeping fans apprised of his life via a handful of video blogs over the past several weeks, explaining that he can control his own narrative this way. “It’s just more free doing it myself, I can do anything, I can say anything, I can talk about anything,” Roloff wrote on Instagram of why he has stepped away from reality TV… yet is still in front of a camera. “I can show whatever I want,” he concluded of these videos. Along these same lines, Roloff has a new announcement to make: He’s coming out with a book!!!!!! It is titled “Verbing” and you can purchase a copy on Etsy.com for just $5. On Instagram, Roloff describes this quasi memoir as a “little thing” that are his “thoughts in physical form.” A profound individual, the 20-year old spends his days traveling around the country and basically pondering various aspects of life. And he wants to share some of these contemplations with his fans. “Forewarning: I am not taking myself overly serious, it would be prudent if you didn’t either,” Jacob adds of the book, explaining: “This is a sincere expression and not much more. No end-game. No expectations.” At the moment, the book is only available for shipping to the United States and Canada. According to its official description, it is a 16-page collection of three short essays, one titled “Ignorance,” one titled “Frustration,” and one titled “Revelations.” Concluded Roloff of his goals with the short tome: “This is my exploratory experiment with writing to get my feet wet with the process and establish the subject(s) I would like to write on in the future…. “Thank you for all support and encouragement!” Jacob has also been vocal of late in his appreciation for new nephew Jackson Kyle Roloff. The baby was born to brother Zach and sister-in-law Tori on May 12 and he appears to have helped Jacob grow close once again to his family members. On more than one occasion, Jacob has stopped by the family farm since Jackson’s birth, sharing pictures of the adorable tyke and gushing over him online . “Love bein an uncle so far. Love Little Man,” Roloff wrote as a caption to one of these images. View Slideshow: Little People, Big World Cast: Then vs. Now Will you give Jacob’s book a try? Have you been following his adventures online? And do you still hope for an on-camera reunion between him and other members of the Roloff family? We wouldn’t rule it out at this point. But we’re also fine if it never happens. Jacob appears to have made the right decision for himself and his goals in life and he’s now on the same page once again with his siblings and parents. Why mess with a good thing?
With Memorial Day kicking off the unofficial start of summer, a seasonal tradition – The Bachelorette Season 13 – is back and in full swing. (And The Bachelorette spoilers already tell us who wins … so don’t click the link if you don’t want to know how it all plays out). You sure as heck don’t need spoilers to tell you this much: Watch The Bachelorette Season 13 Episode 2 Online Rachel Lindsay’s journey for love will not be drama-free or eye-roll free with this collection of dudes vying for love (and screen time). Honestly, this has got to be hands down the craziest crop of guys ever assembled on the hit reality TV franchise … for better or worse. Case in point: DeMario Jackson . The shenanigans this guy pulled – which are not over yet, after last night’s cliffhanger – may well go down as the most brazen in history. We’ll get to that shortly … but DMJ will not be who Rachel Lindsay picks this season, we’ll go ahead and spoil that for you right here. Not even Bachelor superfans Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis could save this underwhelming crew from itself, but due credit for trying. The group date task was a “husband material” obstacle course that put the guys to the test … and tested viewers’ patience, as well. One lowlight? Lucas “Whaboomed” in front of Ashton and Mila, which at least made Rachel feel so sorry for him she gave him a kiss. That strategy can’t work over the long haul, can it? In any event, the group date rose went to Dean, who also got a first kiss with Rachel. Peter Kraus then got things very much back on track with a one-on-one date in which he and his gap tooth charmed Rachel to no end. He is one to watch this season. Peter got the rose, and it’s almost a surprise he didn’t earn a whole bouquet based on how wonderful their date was from start to finish. Lindsay’s second group date Monday night was with Will, Jamey, Diggy, Alex, Adam, Lee, Matt, Eric, Josiah, and yes, DeMario Jackson. DeMario was the guy that Rachel’s friends warned her about in The Bachelorette season premiere . Oh, the foreshadowing by producers! The group date featured a cameo from Kareem Abdul Jabbar and some bad basketball, though DeMario showcased some hoop skills. Life skills are a different story, however. After the game, a girl named Lexi approached Rachel while the guys were in the locker room, revealing herself as … DeMario’s girlfriend. To hear Lexi tell it, the two were dating for about seven months until he just disappeared and stopped answering her texts and calls. She had no idea what had happened to him until she saw him meeting Rachel on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special in March. If you recall, one of Lindsay’s many franchise firsts was that she met some of her men on the finale of Nick’s season. DeMario included. Well, Lexi was PISSED, and Rachel did her best to handle the awkward situation with class as she retrieved DeMario to explain himself. He did not do a very good job. Trapped in lie after lie, he pretended not to know Lexi at first, then called her “psycho,” then dismissed the relationship as merely sexual. Then he pretended that he had mailed Lexi’s keys and broken up with her in person, though her texts proved this was not the situation. In a cringe-worthy moment, he admitted that they had enjoyed “sexual intercourse,” but the situation isn’t as bad as it looks. Or something. He asked if they could talk off-camera because this was “some personal life stuff,” but Rachel wasn’t having that for one second. “I believe you want to be here, I just don’t think you want to be here for me,” she told him after he insisted he wanted to be there. “Let me tell you something: I’m not here to be played. I’m not here to be made a joke of, which is what I feel like you’re doing right now.” “So I’m really going to need you to get the f–k out. I don’t like being f–king embarrassed, and I can’t even look at you right now.” Dammmmmmn! Eventually, he left in shame; Josiah ultimately got the rose and Rachel did some more kisses in as the other guys expressed sympathy. The silver lining, as she noted, was that as bad as DeMario was, the other guys really stepped up afterward to prove their true intentions. In the closing moments, however, DeMario decided that he simply could not depart without having one last conversation with Rachel. Security agreed … to bring in the venerable Chris Harrison to decide if he should in fact be allowed such a privilege after his conduct. As the credits began to roll, the other guys got wind of hisreturn and rushed outside because DeMario “needs to get his ass whooped.” Now that’s a cliffhanger. As previously reported in exciting detail, Tori and Zach Roloff are first-time parents . The Little People, Big World players welcomed a son named Jackson into the world on May 12, providing us with a couple adorable photos at the time and writing: “Baby and mother are doing great and Jackson is already mastered holding daddy’s fingers and snuggling with mom! He is adorable and Tori and I are loving being parents.” The new mother added on Instagram that she's already “in love” with her little one. Now, in a fun new video shared by TLC, the reality stars are here to give fans of their series a tour of their child's nursery. With Tori holding the camera and Zach rocking out in a chair for the most part, the twosome (who got married in July of 2015) give us a glimpse at little Jackson's crib… a unique set of sheets inside said crib .. and also a special stuffed animal who will be keeping an eye over the baby while he sleeps. The animal is a dog and he's a tribute to the canine Tori and Zach tragically lost to cancer a few months ago. This sad death was chronicled on last week's new episode of Little People, Big World . “He was my best friend,” Tori cried to the cameras at the time. “I just wish I had that back.” Zach was afraid back in March, upon Sully's passing, that the stress of this incident would have a negative effect on his wife's pregnancy. But Tori is healthy and Jackson is adorable and everyone seems to be doing well these days. For more on what transpired last Tuesday night, we urge you to watch Little People, Big World online . And for an enjoyable look around Jackson's bedroom, we urge you to click PLAY on the vide below.
Little People Big World ‘s Audrey Roloff was a little bashful about sharing a new piece of intimacy advice on her blog, Beating 50 Percent . Audrey, who is married to reality star Jeremy Roloff, admitted that what she was about to explain was weird, but readers can do with it what they want. One person’s intimate moment is another’s horror story, according to Audrey. “On our honeymoon, I had this crazy idea… It has been one of my best-kept marriage secrets (something I have only shared with my closest friends) – until now. It’s too good to keep to myself;),” Audrey wrote. “So let me tell you about this immensely intimate idea, and why I think every single couple on the planet should try it at least once, if not every year on their anniversary. “Some of you may think it’s a little weird, but I’m choosing vulnerability in the hopes that it might inspire you! This is something Jer and I have both committed to do on Beating50Percent – be honest and transparent. “So before you roll your eyes and call me crazy, just here me out here….” Audrey went on to explain how important her wedding vows were and still are, and how she waited until the night before the ceremony to write them so that they reflected how “mentally, emotionally, and spiritually present” she was. “We both brought our crumpled paper vows with us on our honeymoon, and had planned to re-read them to each other again at some point,” Audrey explained. “Then I had this crazy idea…. ‘What if we read our vows to each other while having sex…? “This thought was immediately followed by an insecurity, ‘Jeremy will probably think that’s SOOO weird… and I mean… how will that even work…?’ Well, kids, it involves some multi-tasking and cardio training… “One afternoon,” Audrey continued, “we laid in bed waiting out a Jamaican thunderstorm and reminiscing on our wedding day, when I mustered up the confidence to blurt out my unconventional idea, ‘Babe, you know how we wanted to reread our vows to each other just the two of us? Well… what if we did that… while having sex…’ View Slideshow: 22 Candid Celebrity Sex Confessions “I remember the look of astonishment that fell over Jeremy’s face, and I wasn’t sure if it was the good kind or bad kind… But then he said something to the effect of, ‘Whoa (probably ‘Holy Smokes’)… Let’s do it.’ “I’ll spare you the details, but it was the most intimate thing we have ever done in our marriage, and probably the most intimate thing I have ever done in my life . And one that left you a bit winded, I’m sure. “The act of becoming physically and verbally one (at the same time), ensues an ocean of intimacy that I cannot attempt to describe. It’s the best version of ‘sex talk.’ Y’all… don’t think about how it works, just try it.” So…there you have it. Sex advice from a 24-year-old.
