After years of public barbs and occasional Single White Female -style creepiness, the feud between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville  is officially at an end. Against all odds, the ladies seem to have buried the hatchet and put the needs of Brandi’s kids (and LeAnn’s stepkids) ahead of their own differences. The first sign that tensions had soothed came last month, when Brandi wished LeAnn a happy wedding anniversary on Twitter. Not the kind of thing that would normally be a big deal, but when the woman you’re congratulating is married to your ex-husband, whom she started dating while the two of you were still married… Well, you can see why Brandi didn’t offer any kind words on any of LeAnn’s previous anniversaries. Rimes and Glanville have hammered out short-term truces in the past, but this time, the women appear to be committed to forming something that almost resembles a friendship. These two both live on social media, so perhaps it’s not surprising that the evidence is written all over their Twitter pages. Apparently, Sunday was Stepmother’s Day, and not only did Brandi spend it watching her boys play soccer with LeAnn, she later gave Rimes a public shoutout: “Jake just told me its step moms day! So happy step moms day @leannrimes I didnt know or I would told u at soccer-thanks for luv n my boys!” Brandi tweeted. “@BrandiGlanville thx! I love them with all my heart,” LeAnn replied. There was a time when we would’ve assumed they were both being sarcastic, but this appears to be the new normal for Brandi and LeAnn. We don’t know what prompted them to make up, but we suppose it’s a good thing. Brandi and LeAnn’s social media accounts are sure to be much less interesting now, but that’s just something we’ll have to learn to live with.
