Email Submit According to The Herald Bulletin , Michael Neil, 29, was arrested on Monday for allegedly stabbing a man in his apartment. Neil confessed to police in an interview, saying he was asleep when he woke up to find another man getting it on with his wife. SEE ALSO:  Man Finds His Wife & Her Alleged Lover Dead In Garage From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning “Neil admitted that he grabbed a knife from the bedroom and started stabbing the other male,” a press release states. Police responded to a neighbor’s call at 12:26 a.m. on Monday. They said they could hear several people fighting in an apartment nearby. When Officer Jamie Crawford arrived on the scene, he found an unconscious man inside a parked vehicle on North 20th Street. The man showed to have multiple stab wounds. Officer Matthew Walker entered the apartment building and discovered Michael Neil drenched in “a significant amount of blood,” says the press release. Neil told the cops he had been the one attacked in his apartment. Both men were rushed to the hospital to get treatment for their injuries. Elwood Police Chief Jason Brizendine withheld the name of the guy found unconscious in his vehicle. He did say the man was alive, however. He didn’t give details on the extent of his injuries. According to the press release, a search warrant was granted for the victim’s vehicle and the apartment. Various weapons and DNA were obtained by officers along with other evidence. Neil was booked on Monday for charges of Level 3 felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Elwood police mentioned that the case is still open and considered an ongoing investigation. This isn’t Neil’s first run-in with the law either. According to The Herald Bulletin, Neil is expected to appear in Madison Circuit Court 1 for a dispositional hearing on February 25 for a plea agreement in a January 2, 2018 case. He was charged with “Level 3 felony robbery resulting in bodily injury, robbery where someone other than a defendant, dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance and battery resulting in bodily injury.” With this additional case, it seems the odds are already against him. In his latest offering, a visual for his track “Prayer,” the Bethune Cookman University graduate opens up about losing two of his closest friends to gun violence. In the clip, he heads to the cemetery where they were both buried and turns to his relationship with God to help him through the tragic loss. Speaking on gun violence in the Black community, he told Global Grind of the youth “Some are not making it to the age of 21 and it makes my peers and I fearful of leaving home without a weapon to protect ourselves. It’s sad to have to live like that!” Born and bred in Decatur, GA, K3hz grew up bumping fellow Atlanta natives Outkast and B.O.B. It was watching his favorite Youtube rappers (lyricists like Loaded Lux, Tsu Surf, Tay Roc, and O’fficial) and his passion for bringing southern rap back to its roots that inspired his career the most. K3hz released his debut mixtape Won’t Be Denied , executive produced by multi-platinum producer J. Reid , in October and now he’s back with this must-see visual from the tape. Music has always been an important part of my life.” On Meek Mill and Jay-Z teaming up to reform the criminal justice system: “I think it’s great that some of the top influencers of this industry are teaming up to reform criminal justice. There is definitely injustice within our justice system that needs to be corrected. What Do You Need To Know?: Tekashi69 Plea Deal Revealed, He’s Telling On Everybody

Unless you haven’t been paying attention you should be surprised—he copped to everything he stood accused of and told on any and everybody.  Among the crimes the Brooklyn rapper admitted to was trying to have Chief Keef shot, selling a kilo of heroin and even helping rivals to attempt a murder to increase his standing in the Nine Trey Bloods, which he joined in the fall of 2017. Reports TMZ : As we reported, the rapper cooperated with the feds and even testified before the Grand Jury. The U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York agreed “not to prosecute [69] for the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine.”  So, various crimes are off the books. In addition, prosecutors agreed not to go after 69 for crimes he told prosecutors about but have not yet been charged. The plea deal also says, “It is understood that the defendant’s cooperation is likely to reveal the activities of individuals and that witness protection may be required at a later date.” It sounds like that may be necessary, because 69’s testimony implicates hardened criminals accused of extremely violent crimes.  It’s ultimately up to the judge to determine sentence … but the prosecutors say if Tekashi keeps talking, he’ll get a gigantic break … “should the defendant successfully cooperate, the government agrees that it will file at the time of sentencing a motion … for a sentence below any mandatory minimum.”  Tekashi’s rap career is basically over since being in witness protection could make performing a problem. We wouldn’t be surprised if Tekashi only gets time served when all is said and done. Keep in mind, Tekashi69 was a civilian and admitted troll, he was never really ’bout that gang life. With all the political scandals of the past two years, it’s easy to forget about the strange saga of Anthony Weiner. Fortunately, if you’ve forgotten the details, Weiner’s scarily appropriate surname is probably enough to jog your memory. In 2011, the Democratic congressman from New York was a political star on the rise. That same year, however, he found himself involved in a bizarre scandal that attracted intense interest from late night hosts and pun-loving headline writers alike. Weiner accidentally tweeted a photo of his penis that he intended to send to a woman he had been flirting with online. The whole thing might not have been such a big deal, were it not for the fact that Weiner is married to Huma Abedin , an advisor to Hillary Clinton and another rising star for the Dems. Also not helping his situation is the fact that Weiner not only continued with his deviant behavior but got more extreme as the years went on. Weiner stepped down from Congress following his first sexting scandal, but he returned to politics in 2013 to run for mayor of New York City . Weiner’s second scandal introduced the world to Carlos Danger (his alias) and Sydney Leathers, a recipient of explicit texts from Weiner. Obviously, that derailed his mayoral campaign, but it was the third sexting scandal that sent Weiner to prison . In 2017, The Daily Mail broke the news that Weiner was caught sexting a 15-year-old North Carolina resident. Weiner was sentenced to 21 months behind bars for his crimes. He was released today with no advance notice, six months ahead of schedule. Weiner was initially scheduled to be released in August of 2019, but he was granted an early release on the basis of good behavior. For now, Weiner will be residing in a halfway house in the Bronx. He was spotted today by a New York Post reported as he momentarily stepped outside to pick up food he’d had delivered. Asked for a comment, Weiner stated simply, “Not allowed to talk. I’m sorry, my friend.” It’s probably best for Weiner to keep as low a profile as possible these days.

DeMarcus Cousins ‘Resurgence’ Documentary Will Chronicle His Journey Back To The NBA [Video]

Source: Christian Petersen / Getty Demarcus Cousins Is Getting His Own Showtime Documentary Showtime announced on Friday that they finally have a premiere date for The Resurgence: DeMarcus Cousins , a documentary that will follow the basketball star’s comeback from a career-threatening injury. The film is set to debut on the premium cable network at 8 p.m. on April 13. According to Showtime, The Resurgence is going to provide viewers with “unfettered access” to DeMarcus Cousins throughout his very emotional comeback from a career-threatening Achilles injury, along with his “roller coaster ride through free agency that resulted in a stunning one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. In a statement released by the network, Stephen Espinoza–chief of the network’s sports programming–said the film “delivers the intimate account and high-stakes drama of one of the most misunderstood men in sports. DeMarcus reveals himself as never before—a relatable man whose fiercely competitive personality, daily struggles and triumphs embody the nature of sport.” The Resurgence  is going to include exclusive interviews with teammates, coaches and NBA insiders closest to the story, which includes John Calipari, who coached Cousins at University of Kentucky, former Sacramento Kings’ head coach Mike Malone, Warriors coach Steve Kerr, along with current and former teammates Isaiah Thomas, Matt Barnes, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and more. Since the NBA’s free agency period last summer, the network has released a series of short behind-the-scenes clips online to introduce the project, which includes the moment when Cousins shocked fans by announcing he would join the Warriors for the 2018-’19 season.
