Source: Stephane Cardinale – Corbis / Getty Cardi B has become known for her fiery personality along with her hit songs, and that passion was on display recently. After an interview with Access Hollywood aired, the Invasion Of Privacy superstar was angry at the outlet over twisting words she said about her baby daughter Kulture and it got pretty intense. As reported by THR , Cardi took umbrage with Access Hollywood ‘s titling of the interview where the headline apparently read to suggest that baby Kulture has been calling someone else mommy because Cardi is pulled in so many different directions. However, Cardi explained in her explosive response via IG Live on Thursday that she is serious about her momma duties. From THR : The rapper, mother to daughter Kulture with rapper beau Offset, hopped on Instagram Thursday to share her frustration with 51 million followers in what turned out to be an explosive, expletive-filled rant aimed at Access Hollywood and the editorial decision to allegedly “chop up” her words for “clickbait.” Cardi also threatened to spit at Access — while also mimicking the insult — and, in the rant’s most shocking moment, said this: “Access Hollywood, suck my whole d*ck. Suck a d*ck, I hope your f*cking mom catch AIDS, b*tch.” Cardi shared that she gave a much longer answer about her busy life and how she forgoes a lot of her responsibilities to make sure she has quality time with 1-year-old Kulture. In so many words, Cardi was saying that she works diligently to avoid having a babysitter spend time watching over her daughter that she should be doing. Cardi was on the set of Access Hollywood as part of a press run for the Netflix series, Rhythm + Flow . She also mentioned via her Twitter account that she’ll be taking another break from social media as this latest dustup saw Cardi taking some flack from Internet strangers. T ragic news to report. Joshua Brown, Botham Jean ‘s neighbor who testified during the Amber Guyger murder trial, has reportedly been shot and killed. Lee Merritt , attorney for the Jean family, broke the news on social media. READ MORE: Complaint Filed Against Judge Tammy Kemp For ‘Unconstitutional’ Behavior After Amber Guyger Sentencing “Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant,” Merritt wrote on Instagram on Saturday. “Local media has reported on the shooting but have not confirmed Brown’s identity. Because, Brown worked closely with prosecutors just a week ago to ensure Amber Guyger was properly convicted in the murder trial, the DA’s office has fairly direct contact with Brown and his family.” Joshua Brown was shot in his mouth & chest. He was exiting his car at his apt when he was ambushed & shot at close range. His mother asked my office to help find out who murdered her son. She suspects foul play. He had no known enemies. He worked for a living. We need answers. pic.twitter.com/k0KizSLMHi — S. Lee Merritt, Esq. (@MeritLaw) October 5, 2019 Merritt confirmed Brown was killed but a suspect or motive is not known. “The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department… Brown deserves the same justice he sought to ensure the Jean family,” Merritt wrote. “The Dallas County criminal justice system must mobilized [sic] to identify his killer and see that he is held accountable for this murder.” View this post on Instagram Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant. Local media has reported on the shooting but have not confirmed Brown’s identity. Because, Brown worked closely with prosecutors just a week ago to ensure Amber Guyger was properly convicted in the murder trial, the DA’s office has fairly direct contact with Brown and his family. An ADA has confirmed that it was in fact Brown who was killed although they have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting. The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department. Brown’s testimony stood out as a fact witness who was approaching his apartment directly across from Botham Jean’s apartment when shots rang out. Brown was still visibly shaken up from the incident when he took the stand to testify on behalf of the prosecution. His murder underscores the reality of the black experience in America. A former athlete turned entrepreneur— Brown lived in constant fear that he could be the next victim of gun violence, either state sanctioned or otherwise. We have more work to do deal with the constant threats to our community both from within and without. Brown deserves the same justice he sought to ensure the Jean family. The Dallas County criminal justice system must mobilized to identify his killer and see that he is held accountable for this murder. A post shared by S. Lee Merritt, Esquire (@leemerrittesq) on Oct 5, 2019 at 1:25pm PDT Brown, who said he lived directly across the hall from Jean, testified that the two never formally met but said he could always hear Jean singing. That seemed to be an indication of the acoustics in the apartment building. Brown, like the other neighbors who testified, claimed he never heard any verbal commands being given before he heard the gun shots fired that killed Jean. Brown delivered an unforgettable and emotional testimony. Watch below. “Joshua Brown, a neighbor of Botham Jean’s and Guyger at the South Side Flats apartments, was slain about 10:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road,” Dallas News also reported. He was reportedly 28 years old. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy. SEE ALSO: Black Bailiff Goes Viral For Stroking Amber Guyger’s Hair Following Guilty Verdict Outrageous! Source: Netflix / Netflix Travis Scott & Three Six Mafia’s DJ Paul Reach Settlement in $20 Million Dollar Lawsuit Travis Scotts career is soaring through the rough he recently announced his second annual ‘Astroworld’ festival, released his new single “highest in the room” , released a netflix documentary and a successful Reeses collaboration . With all the wins comes a stock pile of cash, which is well deserved. However when the lawsuits come and people know you have it they amount gets as high as possible. Case and point Travis Scott was sued by Three Six Mafia’s DJ Paul over his 2018 track “No Bystanders” . The lawsuit was for a whopping $20 million dollars. Which is an insane amount but when you factor in ‘Astroworld’ being one of the highest streamed albums of 2018 and still in 2019 you’d want all your coins too. According to The Blast , both rappers have agreed to settle there dispute. In newly filed docs, DJ Paul’s lawyer tells the court the settlement has been finished. “However, the parties require additional time to sign all of the paperwork (including paperwork for the U.S. Copyright Office) and to make a settlement payment. I believe that an additional 30 days will be sufficient to fully and finally complete settlement of this matter, and hope that the Court will indulge the parties one last time.” DJ Paul & his legal team have agreed to close the case as soon as payment is received. Hopefully Travis delivers and this can be behind them both. If not $20 million is a lot to cough up and then add damages and whatever else they’ll add for the trickery.

When speaking on the subject, the rapper stated that children who were brought here by their parents and live illegally in America should automatically become citizens. “When you’re a child, you don’t know what’s going on,” 21 Savage said to the Associated Press . “Now, you grow up and got to figure it out. Can’t get a job. Can’t get a license. I’m one of the lucky ones who became successful. It’s a lot of people who can’t.” This comes after 21 was forced to spend 10 days in an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center after he was arrested as part of a sting operation in Atlanta. His visa expired in 2006, unknown to him. Savage moved to America from the U.K. when he was only 7-years-old. He added more insight into his opinion of immigrant children living in America, stating something pretty controversial: “I feel like we should be exempt. I feel like we should automatically become citizens.” “When you ain’t got no choice, you should be exempt,” the rapper continued. “It’s not like I was 30, woke up and moved over here. I’ve been here since I was like seven or eight, probably younger than that. I didn’t know anything about visas and all that. I just knew we were moving to a new place.” 21 Savage was honored by the NILC for advocating immigrant justice, also speaking on the increasingly difficult process of obtaining a visa. “They just lose hope,” the rapper said of his fellow immigrants. “I feel like kids who were brought here at young ages, they should automatically be like ‘Yeah, you good to stay here, work and go to college.’ It should be nipped in the bud before it gets to a point before you come of age… We got a fight that we need to continue in this country. It ain’t over yet. “ What do you think of 21’s idea that children brought here by their parents should be granted citizenship?

Keisha Lance Bottoms , the mayor of Atlanta, just announced that the city reached its goal of raising a whopping $50 million to provide housing for the homeless. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. ( Terms and conditions ). According to reports from Blavity , Atlanta partnered with the United Way of Greater Atlanta to raise the funds. About half of the money came from donations from private organizations, which includes Ameris Bank, who donated the last $114,000 that allowed the city to reach its goal. The other half is from the Homeless Opportunity Bond sale that began under former Mayor Kasim Reed. At the moment, there are over 3,000 homeless people in the city of Atlanta and the money raised will provide 550 homes for the city’s homeless population. “It is a misperception that many people have — that homelessness is represented entirely by the people they see on the streets,” said Jack Hardin, co-chair of the Atlanta Regional Commission on Homelessness. “A far larger proportion of people experiencing homelessness have incomes and function at very high levels, but live on the margins of the economics of our society and any hardship can derail.” This very funding to help curb homelessness in Atlanta was a major priority for former Mayor Kasim Reed’s last year in office. The initiative was initially announced about two years ago, when the city’s largest homeless shelter, Peachtree-Pine, revealed that it was closing its doors. SEE ALSO: How Atlanta Has Changed Since Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Was Elected [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW] The building housed as many as 500 people, but ended up closing after a 10-year battle with various city establishments and accusations the shelter was behind a tuberculosis outbreak in the city. It was unanimously approved by the city council Bottoms was apart of before becoming mayor. “We now have the opportunity to end chronic homelessness in our city, and ensure that all women, men and children – regardless of circumstance – have the chance to live stable, meaningful lives and participate fully in their communities,” Reed said in a written statement at the time the plan was approved. Congrats to Mayor Keisha and everyone else involved on such a major accomplishment for the city of Atlanta. Imagine having Farrah Abraham for a mom. Or, it that thought experiment is too terrifying for a Friday, just take a good long look at the life of Sophia Abraham. Sophia's been in the spotlight literally since the day she was born, and while many hoped she might be able to enjoy a somewhat normal childhood after Farrah got fired from Teen Mom OG , that hasn't turned out to be the case. In fact, the problem of overexposure seems to have gotten worse, as Farrah drags the 10-year-old to red carpet events all over the world, as though Sophia is some sort of a fashion accessory. And now, it seems that fishbowl existence is beginning to have a major impact on the young girl's mindset. Take a look: 1. Like Mother, Like Daughter Very few 10-year-olds spend as much time posing for selfies and attending red carpet events as Sophia Abraham. 2. The Team To be fair, Farrah’s daughter does seem to enjoy all the attention — but that observation comes with two caveats: 3. Too Much, Too Soon For one, even if she likes it, showering a 10-year-old with constant praise and attention from adults — most of them strangers — is probably not a good thing. 4. Farrah’s Version On top of that, the only insight we gain into Sophia’s experience is filtered through Farrah, so naturally, we’re given the impression that she’s living every child’s dream. 5. Sophia’s Choice And so, despite how much time she spends in the public eye, it’s still very difficult to tell exactly what’s going on with Sophia. 6. Learning From the Past But we know from many prior examples that child stars often find it difficult to navigate the road to adolescence. And at least those poor kids didn’t have Farrah freakin’ Abraham for a mother. View Slideshow
Some things just aren’t meant to last forever. Don’t get us wrong, Rachel Lindsay married Bryan Abasolo after a long engagement. But she and Raven Gates had a massive falling out. Now, Colton Underwood is trying his hand at feuding and suggesting that Rachel must just hate everyone . Rachel Lindsay’s falling out with former bestie Raven Gates was pretty conspicuous after Raven missed every stage of Rachel’s wedding. So naturally, when Rachel appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, fans got all kinds of nosy about it. In fact, Andy reveals that it was the number one question that fans had to ask. They asked her about that more than about her marriage to Bryan or about her thoughts on Peter as the 24th non-black Bachelor in a row . So when it came time to take phoned-in questions, Rachel responded. Rachel responds my shaking her head in chagrin. “What did she do to cause your falling out?” Andy asks. Rachel protests: “I can’t say. I promised I wouldn’t say.” “But,” Rachel offers. “It was enough for me to not want to be friends with her anymore.” “And you’re still not friends with her,” Andy asks for some almost pointless clarification. “No,” Rachel confirms. “Not at all. And I never will be.” Addressing it with Andy only made people more aware of Rachel and Raven’s falling out. For some reason, another member of the Bachelor Fam decided to weigh in. “Shocker,” Colton Underwood wrote on Instagram, his text dripping with sarcasm. “Rachel mad at another person?” his sarcastic comment continued. He then quits marveling in non-surprise and poses a semi-serious question. Colton asks: “Does she like anyone ?!” (Raven and Rachel are both extremely hot, especially in some of the photos in this post, so you’re welcome for balancing it out with Colton) Wait, does Colton have a beef with Rachel? When did that happen? “I’m not weighing in on the Rachel/Raven drama,” Colton clarified. And yet … that seems to be exactly what he chose to do. “I could care less about that,” he emphasized. “Not my business.” He then explains exactly why he decided to pipe up about Rachel being some sort of Negative Nelly. “What is my business,” Colton wrote. “Is the countless number of times she’s spoke poorly of me…” Countless times? It’s good to remember that not every Bachelor Fam conversation goes public. He continued, accusing: “including that time she ran her mouth about me to Cassie…” Oh, yeah, we could understand why he’d be annoyed about that. “Funny thing is,” the previously virginal hunk concluded. “I have never met her.” Naturally, you don’t have to have met someone to have an opinion — even a strong one — about them. That’s sort of what the Bachelor franchise is all about. Sure, the stars look for love, but millions of viewers form opinions. Rachel doesn’t have to meet Colton to decide that he’s, say, not the right man for Cassie to marry. By that same token, Colton doesn’t have to meet Rachel to decide that she’s been uncharitable towards him. Maybe they should hang out and get to know each other. We hear that Rachel is down a friend, anyway. In the mean time, we’ll continue to wonder what in the world Raven could have done for Rachel to permanently excise her from her life.
