Despite singers like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood being discovered on television and making a name for themselves, we haven’t gotten to see that same process happen within hip-hop….well, not yet at least. VH1 did take a stab at making a similar hip-hop competition show with The-Dream , Rick Ross , and Lenny S. just last year, though it didn’t quite produce any long-lasting stars like we might have hoped. But if anyone can save the day, it’s Netflix–and they’re coming through to create a brand new hip-hop competition series titled Rhythm + Flow . The popular streaming service has landed an interesting trio of talent to judge for the show: Cardi B , Chance the Rapper , and T.I. Rhythm + Flow is going to be a ten-part hip-hop talent search set to debut in 2019. This upcoming project has an impressive musical pedigree from the hosts alone, but on top of the upfront talent, the show is also hailing from John Legend and his Get Lifted Film Co. Not only can we expect to see some new breakout talent on the series, but there’s bound to be some absolutely hilarious moments as well. Cardi B is obviously no stranger to reality television; her absolutely insane rise to fame makes a lot of us forget that it’s only been 2 years since she appeared on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York . Chance the Rapper has also been expanding his portfolio beyond just rapping recently, starring in 2018 horror-comedy Slice and hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live . As for T.I., we all know that he is a reality fixture of his own–appearing in a variety of vehicles across the Viacom platforms, including his own series with his family T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle on VH1. Rhythm + Flow comes to Netflix from executive producers John Legend, Jeff Gaspin, Jesse Collins, Nikki Boella, Jeff Pollack, Mike Jackson, and Ty Stiklorius. The series intends to find and foster undiscovered hip-hop talent across multiple cities. Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. will serve as the three main judges, though additional artists and industry personalities will be announced in the run-up to the premiere. Jordan Speaks On Boat Pictures With GQ One of the honorees for GQ’s annual “Man Of The Year” issue recently reacted to a Bossip headline we wrote about some Becky behavior he participated in. If you can remember, Michael Bae Jordan caught HELL back in July after he was spotted in St. Tropez surrounded by melanin deficient women and his buddy Steelo Brim. We of course commented and dubbed their Italian joyride a “ Milky Mayo-y Boat Tour” to reflect how some women felt betrayed by his seemingly sunken behavior. GQ recently brought up the headline and others to MBJ who once again reiterated that he doesn’t prefer white women, and instead, the boat ride got completely misconstrued. “Did you know whose boat it was? No. Was it a yacht? Nah. If you knew what a yacht was, you’d know that wasn’t a yacht. It’s a boat,” said Jordan. “It’s a boat. Have you ever been to Italy before? Do you know how that works? Sometimes you get on a boat, you go and meet people you’ve never met before, enjoy some stuff. It’s vacation, it’s life. Then it just turned into this whole other thing that it wasn’t. It just wasn’t that. I felt like I needed to say something in that moment.” In a previous Facebook Live, Michael seemingly reacted to the milk line in particular; “I like milk. I like chocolate milk. That’s pretty good.” and he told GQ that in hindsight he regrets commenting. “In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have. As you’ve no doubt heard by now, dozens have lost their lives and millions of dollars in property has been destroyed, as California continues to battle the deadliest wildfires in the state’s history. Numerous celebrities have lost their homes, including Miley Cyrus, Gerard Butler, and Robin Thicke. Those stars have received an outpouring of support from fan,s and it seems Tori Spelling may have taken one look at the tidal wave of sympathy and thought, how can I get in on that?! Tori took to Instagram this week and told a tale of being evacuated just as the fires made their way to her neighborhood: “My big brood and I were evacuated last night. My eyes swell with happy tears when I reflect on how many friends immediately reached out and offered their homes to us,” the actress said. “No small offer when you are talking about a family of seven. Some I don’t even know that well but as part of our school community they stepped up. Thank you all!” Fans were quick to rally behind Tori with words of love and support. “Praying for you and your family,” commented one follower. “I’m so sad and sorry this is happening! Praying for you all,” wrote another. It’s great that Spelling has such caring friends and fans … but it looks like those folks may have been bamboozled by the notoriously unstable actress. “I haven’t heard anything about Mulholland Drive [where Spelling resides] being affected,” a Los Angeles County fire marshal tells Radar Online. “I can tell you that I was just sent from Miracle Mile and we’re here in Woodland Hills in kind of a standby mode. We have been dispatched to different place across the city. We have different pools of fire engines kind of in a standby mode.” The unidentified firefighter went on to say that there’s a possibility Spelling’s neighborhood could be affected by the fires — but it definitely hasn’t happened yet: “We still have high winds and there is danger, so there could be spots and new fires that can break out. So we are sieging resources to get ready for that,” says the fire marshal. It’s possible there’s some confusion here, or that Spelling and her family made the decision to evacuate on their own out of an abundance of caution. But if it turns out Tori is lying, we think it’s safe to say this incident won’t do any wonders for her already battered reputation. It’s anyone’s guess as to why she would concoct such a story. Spelling’s financial troubles have been well-documented, so it’s possible she exaggerated her situation in hope of a handout. Insiders who know the actress say Tori seems to lie compulsively, and they’ve learned to take everything she says with a grain of salt. Here’s hoping Tori will provide soon post an update clarifying that this has all been one big misunderstanding. Otherwise, she may have just reached a new rock bottom in a career that’s been filled with them.

PS4 owners, you’re up first. That’s right, as promised the fan-favorite Nuketown map will arrive tomorrow for free on PlayStation 4 consoles first as a timed exclusive, sorry Xbox One and PC owners. The setting will be in Russia sporting a winter theme as players will be duking it out in the abandoned town in the snow. All of the bells and whistles that initially debuted in the map are back but of course with some tweaks such as a secret passageway for your RC-XDs and much better graphics. The trailer also hints at combatants being able to possibly launch the nuclear missile that rests underneath the town. The map looks absolutely gorgeous and better than ever and it seems like it will become a favorite of Black Ops 4 players instantly. Nuketown will be available for free on PlayStation 4 starting November 13 and will land on Xbox One and PC November 20.
