Vivica Fox is currently doing press rounds for her book, ‘ Everyday I’m Hustling .’ While hosting a book signing at Barnes And Noble in NYC, the actress was caught by surprise and ambushed by PETA and vegan protesters. The protestors and activists call for Fox to “stop wearing fur” and to “stop being an animal abuser.” One of the protestors shouted, “Vivica Fox talks about respect, but she kills animals! She paid someone to kill an animal!” They also told the NAACP Image Award Winner to “stop trying to be relevant.” Yikes. At one point in the video, you can hear someone from her team calling for security. This is one of PETA’s tactics to bring awareness to their mission and cause. They often bombard public figures to get their message across. In July of last year, PETA protestors took to a MET x Michael Kors event, where they bought tickets and then protested during the designers’ talk. He immediately left afterward. Demi Lovato’s coming of age, bi-polar disorder activist, recently single, attempted to be slutty on social media after getting fit, has turned into what I would call – not quite an age appropriate show, despite her fans, fans I’ve never met, for songs I’ve never heard, but that apparently exist…because she’s rich and famous…. A show that involves her sitting on faces, riding people, to show the world she’s some empowered sexual being or some shit…some fat girl who fucks men and women because as a bi polar disorder person…so finds comfort in being fucked all day like many bi polar disorder you probably know….or have met…all out of control…always horny cuz of their mental disorder…that in Demi Lovato’s case she has the luxury of having because it adds depth to an otherwise unintesting poptart pile of shit…
Twins Sara Eldritch and Amanda Eldritch didn't just make headlines for their battle with an extreme manifestation of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The two, who battled OCD from childhood well into adulthood, underwent a groundbreaking procedure that, at least for a time, eased their symptoms and allowed them to lead normal lives. Tragically, the women have both been found dead. Police suspect that they may have had a suicide pact. The Canon City Daily Record reports that the Eldritch twins were found dead with gunshot wounds. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says that Sara and Amanda were found in a car which was parked at a rest area Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, which is in Canon City. Sgt. Megan Richards reported that police believe that the sisters may have had a suicide pact. That is, at the moment, speculation. What they say with reasonable confidence is that there is no known threat to the community at large. In the video below, you can see both Sara and Amanda speak about their shared battle with OCD. Their disorder manifested at a very young age, where even a simple process like putting on their shoes could take a great deal of time because they found, for example, wrinkles in their socks to be unbearable. Many of us dislike things like that, but for someone with OCD, there is an irresistible compulsion to address what most of us would view as a regrettable source of irritation. The twins described their OCD as like someone holding a gun to their head and forcing them to go through a task or ritual. By their twenties, their OCD symptoms had worsened, and they would find themselves taking 10-hour showers, scrubbing their skin raw. You can also see how their lives improved after they underwent a groundbreaking procedure. Electrodes were placed within their brains, connected to batteries stored within their chests. Which, yes, sounds like a child's idea of what surgery might be, but we're not making it up. The procedure, normally used for Parkinson's, allowed them to manage their anxieties. They came to feel as if their younger, OCD-ridden selves were almost different people. In some ways, they were. The twins were able to go on and get jobs and function in everyday life. For a time, at least. It's heartbreaking to think that they died just a few years later. Though a number of treatments for OCD exist and work to varying degrees, there is no “magic pill” for these compulsions. In fact, OCD is not really well understood. There is evidence for a genetic component to OCD. Both anecdotally and statistically, the odds of having OCD are higher if a relative has it. In other cases, OCD can arise from traumatic situations such as abuse. There are even controversial theories that there is an autoimmune element at play in OCD. Their mother must be feeling so devastated. Some wonder if the procedure that had given the twins so much freedom back in 2015 had tragically stopped working. If so, that would compound the sadness. Especially if they chose to die rather than return to how their lives once were. But, at the moment, so much of this is just speculation. Hopefully, investigators will uncover a concrete, verifiable explanation for how this tragedy came to pass. In the mean time, let's look at the twins when they were happily explaining how their lives had improved.
WENN Nicki Minaj To Drop New Single On Cardi’s Album Release Is Nicki Minaj timing her return to the public eye specifically to keep her foot on Cardi B’s icy neck? According to an exclusive report from Hollywood Unlocked , Nicki’s on her way back to the spotlight, specifically because she is not going to just sit back and let Cardi Season occur. Sources close to rap queen say she is shooketh over Cardi’s skyrocketing success, and worried that this album could pump the newbie’s popularity a little too much for her comfort. As such, she decided to come out of the obscurity she’s lived in since late last year and put a rush the release of her new single. Apparently, Nicki feels the perfect time for her new song to hit the streams is TONIGHT — “coincidentally” the exact same time as Cardi B’s debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’ Well, we guess she can’t just stay quiet in the shadows while the new girl in town usurps her position as Most Popular. But do you think the timing of this release was shadier than necessary? WENN
Source: FOX Image Collection / Getty It’s back to business as usual at Empire Records, and there’s always the proverbial snake in the grass lurking too. We start with Lucious popping awake from a bad dream about the night his car blew up, and now his Lyon senses are tingling. In other words, he suspects that Andre might have something to do with trying to kill him so he tells Thirsty to get to investigating. In other news, Eddie (Lucious’ Uncle) and Giselle (Eddie’s ex-wife) are part of Empire’s staff now. They’re exes, but they’re in deep financial trouble so of course, they’re going to try to use Empire for a come up. This is actually a good time for scheming because Empire is making money moves with their streaming service. Eddie and Giselle brought a new investor to the table and Cookie and Lucious are down with the partnership. Unfortunately, said business partner is down to steal Empire right along with Eddie and Giselle and later on in the episode, he mentions that he’s actually going to buy Empire based on the moves they made, but Eddie said he’ll deal with telling Lucious what’s up. The other part to this sneaky takeover is that Eddie has been going around planting divisive bugs in people’s ears. He lowkey convinced Jamal to drop out of the upcoming 20 for 20 Celebration, and while working with Tiana on her music, he tells her that she can’t let Hakeem distract her from her music. Later on, Hakeem proposes to her and she says she needs to think about it because she can’t have any distractions. It was that easy. via GIPHY Speaking of 20 for 20, there’s an old Empire act that they didn’t invite back. It’s one of Empire’s first acts, a girl group called “TBD” (with Tisha Campbell guest starring as the lead), and they are so salty that they’re on TV telling everyone who will listen that they got beef. They plan to release their own anniversary album, which will include a dis track that spills all the tea on Empire. But you know the Lyons ain’t having that. Cookie shows up to a TBD performance at a mall to handle her business. The group is a bunch of has-beens so they need all the money and attention they can get. Cookie offers them a deal with Empire for their anniversary album. They says they’ll be in the studio as long as they get an apology from Lucious for…whatever it is that he knows he did. You know pre-accident Lucious was trash. Later on, Lucious apologizes, but they don’t accept it because they think it’s disingenuous. They start talking about how Lucious sabotaged their last album, they feel some type of way about Cookie running things, etc—basically, they’re returning the petty and just like that, they leave because they say that have another deal on the table anyway. However, Lucious points out that it’s a smaller label with less money. Cookie is obviously annoyed when she learns it didn’t work out, but Lucious says he’s going to show her how to get it done the “Old fashion Empire way.” Uh oh. via GIPHY Surprisingly, the Empire way isn’t violent, but there are chess moves involved. Empire acquires the label TBD decided to sign too so now they’re stuck. The conditions are that they take back their dis track, apologize to Empire now, and perform at the showcase. If all goes well then they get to keep their reunion album. Finally, the episode winds down with a Lyon family dinner. It starts off innocently enough, with Cookie and Lucious telling Dre that he’s still going to be able to take the reigns of the business, not now, but down the line when he’s better. However, what is a Lyon family function without the dysfunction? via GIPHY Fast forward a bit. Dre and Lucious are alone in another room and Dre finally admits to Lucious he called the bomb. He said he tried to call it off if that’s any consolation, then hands Lucious a gun and tells him to do what he has to do. Lucious snaps and pistol whips Jamal. Think about this, Dre almost killed Cookie too. He didn’t anticipate Cookie getting in that car but that’s what happened, and we know how Lucious feels about her so that’s what that rage was really about. Luckily for Jamal, the rest of the Lyons rushed in and break it up. Hakeem and Jamal express how disappointed they are in Dre. They point out all the messed up things Lucious did to them, as well as the fact that they never tried to kill him. Cookie and Lucious are chatting at the same time in another room. Lucious says she doesn’t know what to do but he’s obviously shaken. Cookie tries to get Lucious to be positive by pointing out that Dre wasn’t in his right mind and that he’s getting back to his old self,, but then she collapses and says she can’t feel her right arm. Issa heart attack. Hopefully, we’ll find out Cookie’s fate next week. Courtesy Mekka Don Mekka Don Has An Important Message In Latest Song Earlier this week BOSSIP spent some time with rapper Mekka Don (who is also an Ohio State and NYU educated lawyer! ) to discuss his upcoming project ‘Fly With Me’ which includes his single “To Elijah”. The video for the song went viral when it was released on Twitter last month and we’re sharing it below: I more then ever started to realize my mortality when my son was born. That feeling scared me into memorializing the things that I’d want to teach him in case my time on this Earth ends early. Feel free to share. To: Elijah pic.twitter.com/hwfP7VBx1x — Mekka Don (@MekkaDonMusic) March 1, 2018 The video drew heavy praise from the likes of celebrities including Chuck D, Taj George (SWV), numerous athletes and more. Mekka Don told BOSSIP the song came about after he felt a stronger sense of mortality following his son’s birth. He says that, much like T’Chaka’s message to T’Challa in ‘Black Panther,’ he realized that a father who hasn’t prepared his son for his death has failed him and he wanted to be sure his son would get the proper lessons from him. Mekka Don also made two appearances on CBS 46 in Atlanta this week, speaking with Sharon Reed about the song and its important message. Had a great time on @cbs46 last night in Atlanta with @SharonReedCBS46 ! So great that they want me back on today at 4 pm! . Jay Z And Beyoncé’s 10’s Anniversary Has Fans Waiting For Music The number 4 has always had a lot of meaning in the relationship between Beyoncé and Jay Z , and April 4th marks the couple’s 10 year wedding anniversary. Fans have been speculating that the couple is going to drop a new album before they kick off the 2nd iteration of their On The Run Tour in June–and even more recently, the Beyhive has been keen to the rumor that Bey will release a new solo album before her headlining performance at Coachella next weekend. These rumors became especially pertinent when whisperings of 11-hour rehearsal days for said performance surfaced, because such practice wouldn’t be necessary for old material.
