(Jean Catuffe/GC Images) Fitness Expert Shaun T Announces He And Husband Are Expecting Twins Here’s a lil pumped up preciousness to get your week off to a great start. Mr. Insanity himself Shaun T just announced he and his husband Scott Blokker are expecting twins! Shaun made the announcement via Instagram over the weekend: “I wanted to tell people a long time ago because I like to live in the emotion of the excitement, but because our journey has been so long, hard and emotionally draining, Scott wanted to wait to protect me from the possibility of another let down,” he explains to PEOPLE of the events leading up to the announcement. “I decided that I wouldn’t push the issue and wait for Scott to decide when it was time for us,” Shaun T adds. “So he came home one day and said, ‘I think I’m ready to tell our fans.’ I was super excited and relieved. We love simple but effective and emotional announcements, and so a poem with flash cards was the perfect plan.” The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on Thursday — and when it comes to their children on the way, Shaun T says another date this year was extremely special. “We found out on my birthday, May 2,” he tells PEOPLE. “I knew we would get a result, but because we have been on the roller coaster before, I just said to myself, ‘It’s gonna be a great day or a greater day.’ We were on the tennis court too!” “We knew the pregnancy results would be coming mid-morning, so we wanted to just try to pretend like it was any other normal day, since we had been through this day 11 times before,” recalls Shaun T, 39. “We got a text in the middle of our practice, called our surrogate and were told the beyond-incredible news.” “We were flying home from a work trip talking about when and how we would announce it,” says Shaun T, noting that the couple’s surrogate will be 28 weeks pregnant on Monday. “We wanted to keep it simple [and] fun but also talk about how struggle is real, and if you keep your focus and never give up, your dreams will come true,” he insists. “Our journey to have a family is the essence of that.” Aw, that was pretty heartwarming riiiight? Sounds like they really have had some disappointments during this journey but we are glad to hear things finally worked out. Praying the babies are healthy and all goes well from here on out!

He alerted fans to this news via a touching Facebook post that reads as follows: Rhain Alisha has been so patient and supporting through everything that has been happening, my mothers cancer, having to leave Alaska, my car keeps breaking down, and all in all I have been thinking of how thankful I am that she moved in with we instead of going back to Oregon and now we are engaged and planing our life together. According to multiple new reports, Mark Salling slit his wrists and tried to kill himself prior to striking a plea bargain in his child pornography case. The incident allegedly took place in the bedroom of Salling’s Los Angeles home on August 22, both TMZ and The Mirror write. The disgraced ex-Glee star cut both his wrists and quickly “freaked out,” an insider says, explaining that Salling yelled for his roommate almost immediately upon realizing what he had done. The roommate rushed in, found Salling covered in blood and called 911. Paramedics then rushed to the scene, placed the actor in an ambulance and took him to the hospital. TMZ reports that Salling was taken for psychiatric evaluation after this suicide attempt – and, days later, was transported to a rehab facility for psychological issues. It’s unclear if he was officially diagnosed with any official condition or ailment. But if you’re wondering why Salling is almost always wearing long sleeves, even in California, it’s because he has scars on his arms from this cutting. Earlier this month, Salling reached a plea deal on charges that stemmed from police finding over 50,000 images of child porn and erotica on his personal computer. The actor, best known for playing Noah Puckerman for years on the aforementioned Fox comedy, faces four to seven years in prison for this crime. He has also agreed to make restitution, in the amount of $50,000 per victim, although it’s unknown at this time just how many victims are actually included among Salling’s heinous misdeeds. A judge has not yet handed down a sentence. As part of Salling’s eventual release, however, he will be registered as a sex offender. Moreover, he will not be allowed to live within view of any school yards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds, video arcades, or any other places that are regularly visited by people under the age of 18. TMZ, meanwhile, says it has spoken to Salling’s attorney and he denied this suicide story. However, he did not say which details were incorrect, adding: “Mark is physically fine and Mark is spending his time atoning and working on himself.” He very clearly has a lot to work on.
