Source: Maury Phillips / Getty Apryl Jones’ Body Is Crazy If you’ve been watching Love & Hip-Hop over the last few weeks then you know that Fizz and Apryl Jones have had quite the chaotic relationship that has captivated most of the internet. It all revolves around the fact that Fizz is absolutely okay casting his former homie Omarion aside for the woman he loves. He’s also fine acting like Moniece doesn’t exist so that he can be by Apryl’s side when she has issues. This relationship has been universally clowned for its shadiness. We get it. Matt Roloff Breaks Silence on Ex-Wife’s Engagement

Let no one ever say that divorce has to be messy. Or ugly. Or really disagreeable at all. Don’t believe us? Just ask Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff. Not only did these two split after nearly 27 years of marriage and four kids, but they continued to work together on the TLC reality show Little People, Big World. Moreover, they actually continued to live on the same property until very recently, residing just 100 yards or so away from each other on their mutually-owned farm in Oregon. Just how well do these exes get along? Consider the following: Amy just got engaged last week to boyfriend Chris Marek — and Matt has now become the first family member to congratulate her in public! The Roloff patriarch did so in sort of a subtle way, but he definitely did so nonethless. “My buddy Ty and I got together for our regular Saturday morning breakfast today,” Matt as a caption to a photo he shared of himself and his friend over the weekend, adding simply: “He doesn’t do social media … so I filled him in on Amy’s exciting engagement news. Congratulations to Amy and Chris!!” There you have it, folks. We have no doubt that Amy’s kids, all of whom welcomed Marek into their lives years ago, are thrilled for their mother. But, as far as we know, none of them have said anything about the engagement on social media just yet. Marek popped the question a few days ago, shortly after Amy turned 55 years old. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Amy told People Magazine of the engagement, adding to the publication: “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” She and Chris have been dating for almost three years and fans around the globe had been hoping/anticipating an engagement announcement could be forthcoming. Even Marek, who has rarely spoken to the press during his courtship of Roloff, commented on the major development after Amy agreed to marry him. “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted,” he said. Amy has since shown off her engagement ring ( it’s gorgeous!!!!! ) on Instagram and included with the snapshot a caption that reads: I was so surprised when Chris asked me to marry him. I said YES. I couldn’t be happier and so looking forward to this new part of our life journey together. I’m blessed. Love you Chris. I love us. No word yet on a wedding date or location or anything. But the couple has plenty of time. As for Amy and Matt? They’ve been nothing but respectful of each other over the years, with the notable exception of Amy having come out with a very personal memoir this summer. In one section, she writes in detail about her split from Matt and states firmly that he cheated on her back in the day with his current girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. In an emotional sense, at the very least. “We had someone that worked for us for a very long time, on our farm,” Amy writes of Chandler in the book, adding: “And I believe – this is all from my perspective – that there was more than just friends going on. And I think that evolved to a point where that got in the way of our marriage as well.” Yikes . And yet: isn’t it nice to see Matt send Amy his best wishes, even in the wake of this controversial release and revelation? View Slideshow: Matt Roloff Fires Back at Amy: I’m Better Than You Are!

The Fenty Fix: Is Rihanna Choosing Money Moves Over Music?

Rihanna is building an inclusive beauty and fashion empire the world has never seen before. I’m not even hyperbolizing. It’s all true with receipts to back it up. She launched the most inclusive makeup collection with 50 shades from from fair to deep cocoa before creating a lingerie line that doesn’t make women desire to be the fantasy, but rather remind them they’ve always been the fantasy, regardless of shape, size, color, or condition. No male approval needed. View this post on Instagram @savagexfenty’s new June drop!! OUT NOW! savagex.com A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on Jun 1, 2019 at 7:07am PDT She’s truly dominated the fashion and beauty space since entering in 2014. As the creative director at PUMA, she increased the brand’s earnings at a net income increase of 92% for the quarter, with the company’s share price rising €200 since her role was announced, according to Billboard . Let’s not forget her Fenty Puma creeper was crowned FNAA’s 2016 Shoe of the Year . And, as of May 2019, Rih launched her luxury fashion line Fenty with LVMH (the French French luxury goods company that owns Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton), becoming the first woman ever to do so. Thanks to these boss moves, sis is the wealthiest female musician in the world . Yes, musician. Which brings me to my point. As Rih Rih expands her brand grows into her very own right as a mogul, her music seems to suffer and it’s not like fans haven’t noticed. Neon zebra-print undies and perfectly pigmented lip paints can only distract us for so long. Don’t get me wrong, I own a few (read, a lot) of Fenty items between makeup and clothing , but when it comes down to it, I’m a Rihanna fan, and as a fan I’m alway going to want what I originally came for, and that’s music (followed closely by her ability to throw shade). View this post on Instagram @fenty A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on May 27, 2019 at 4:11am PDT It’s been a cool three years since Rihanna released ANTI which featured SZA and Drake. In May 2018, she told Vogue fans can expect something a bit more Caribbean and “devoted to exploring [her] Caribbean roots.” View this post on Instagram #GuavaIsland @amazonprimevideo hit the link in my bio A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on Apr 17, 2019 at 4:08pm PDT In December 2018, a fan asked Rihanna when she planned to release R9 by writing under a promotional photo of Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in Flamingo Acid. “2019” she said. Looks like Rihanna is dropping her album in 2019. pic.twitter.com/RfQq9T6AZ2 — Karen Civil (@KarenCivil) December 22, 2018 Looks like she’s got about three months before The Navy riots. But seriously, on Sept. 10, Rihanna shared more heartbreaking news concerning her album while on the red carpet for her Savage X Fenty fashion show. “Y’all gon’ have to wait Navy. I’m so sorry,” she said to Entertainment Tonight . https://twitter.com/musicnewsfact/status/1171771545934422021 She also refuted reports she’d be performing at the Super Bowl. “Girl, I still got an album to finish. You’re asking me about the Super Bowl, really? My fans are about to have my neck,” she finished. Hmm… this sort of statement kinda sounds like the album is far from finished. View this post on Instagram Nobody: Me: Album coming in 2019 Navy in July: A post shared by badgalriri (@badgalriri) on Jul 11, 2019 at 11:22am PDT Come to think about it, Rih’s been silent on the album front ever since speaking with Vogue in May 2018. Her Instagram doesn’t let on that she’s in the booth and no producers have spilled any beans on making any in-studio magic. So, is the album ever coming? There may be some hope yet. During the same conversation, Rihanna let on that she’d be more than willing to collaborate with alternative rap artist Lizzo , on anything. “I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now, like Lizzo is so badass.” She definitely is and hopefully she can light a fire under our beloved Bajan beauty. After extensive research, this is all we got — a promise and a whole lot of makeup and undies to wait out the remaining three months. Sigh… I’m crossing my fingers for 2019 R9 , but I don’t suggest holding your breath. DON’T MISS: Can Y’all Stop Speculating On Rihanna’s Womb & Just Let Her Eat? H&M Responds To Criticism Over Young Black Girl’s Ad Appearance, “That’s What We Were Going For.”

Source: SOPA Images / Getty Oh H&M . The Swedish based company is back under fire again after an ad appeared online with a young Black girl’s natural hair looking unkempt. The disheveled ad was blasted by celebrity hairstylist  Vernon François , who shared the photo on Instagram and noted that he sees “situations like this happen time and time again. And it’s got to stop.” “It’s essential that we have a conversation about this photograph from the  @hm_kids campaign,” François wrote. ” Before I begin, I do not have the facts, nor have I seen any statement by #H&M or the team who worked on this. This post is just an assessment based on all my years of seeing situations like this happen time and time again.  And its got to stop. This beautiful young girl’s #kinky hair appears to have had very little to no attention yet all of her counterparts have clearly sat in front of someone who was more than capable of styling other hair textures. My heart breaks imagining yet another girl from my community” View this post on Instagram It’s essential that we have a conversation about this photograph from the @hm_kids campaign.  Before I begin, I do not have the facts, nor have I seen any statement by #H&M or the team who worked on this. This post is just an assessment based on all my years of seeing situations like this happen time and time again.  And its got to stop. This beautiful young girl’s #kinky hair appears to have had very little to no attention yet all of her counterparts have clearly sat in front of someone who was more then capable of styling other hair textures. My heart breaks imagining yet another girl from my community sitting in front of a mirror being ignored by the team around her, left to her own devices because someone didn’t know how to handle her texture. As if that’s not bad enough…. Prior to this campaign appearing this photograph will have been seen and APPROVED by countless ‘professionals'. Lets say conservatively 50 people. It’s breathtaking to me that not one person looked at this shot and had the same reaction that the internet seems to be feeling since the campaign broke.  THAT IS AN ISSUE.  We must do better.  Our girls, our young women deserve better.  Let this be a moment of learning. #Education is key #wehavetodobetter #vernonfrancois #Ignorance #blackgirlmagic #allhairisgoodhair A post shared by Vernon François (@vernonfrancois) on Sep 19, 2019 at 9:33pm PDT Since the outrage, H&M has responded to the backlash but not in a way that you would expect. The discount retail giant revealed that all of the children were photographed the same way and that the idea was to capture them in their natural state after school, which left many to argue that it wasn’t H&M’s fault for the child’s appearance, but the parent’s. “We are aware of the comments regarding one of our models for H&M Kids. We truly believe that all kids should be allowed to be kids. The school-aged kids who model for us come to the photo studio in the afternoon after school and we aim for a natural look which reflects that,” H&M said in a statement to Yahoo . Although the family of the young girl in question has yet to respond, the fact remains that while all of the children in the subsequent ads look tousled, African-Americans have yet to accept and truly embrace 4b and 4c textured hair. Even when you look at our own ads for hair care and promoting the “natural” look, most women chosen have textures that are still very Eurocentric. It’s no secret that women in the natural community have often voiced their disdain over not feeling adequate with their natural textures, due to 3b and 3c being the heavily promoted look-so the question isn’t who’s to blame, it’s are we really being honest about our own feelings regarding textures with tighter coils? As Bustle points out, 4b and 4c hair have long been viewed as the “bad hair grade”, but many had hoped with the explosion of the natural hair movement in the early 2000s that we would rewrite the narrative, but as we can see by our own words during the controversy, we still have a long ways to go. H&M AT IT AGAIN They wrong for that. Where the child mama? I hope she sue them for public humiliation, defamation of character, and discrimination They could had a stylist touch this child hair. Pathetic pic.twitter.com/egxNJza1Sz — Shawda' Love (@Shawdaaaa) September 20, 2019 “There was a period in time that I hated my hair,” Charlene Akuamoah, a stylist said in her interview with the publication . “I thought it was so difficult to manage: It was rough, the curls were too tight, it didn’t look ‘presentable,’ it was always dry, and I felt like I looked better with straight hair. I [thought] that my hair had to be tamed.” Sentiments echoed throughout the complaint of the child’s appearance in the ad. While H&M is undoubtedly tone-deaf regarding race in advertisements, this time the fingers we are pointing should be aimed at the real perpetrators-us. Please people, let’s uplift this little girl! She’s killing her H&M shoots with her natural 4C hair. Lil sis is serving us poses and she looks happy and beautiful #Queenin pic.twitter.com/8z92Gi51rF — insta:msyasmine (@msyasmine_) September 20, 2019 I don't blame h&m, i blame the interwoke folks whos heroes are internet goddesses with 4c buns and TEXTURIZED edges. — ike slimster (@iKeslimster) September 21, 2019 Why y’all keep singling out the one black girl from the H&M ad? ALL the kids’ hairstyles were messed up. How come the other children aren’t getting this backlash? Hair texture got y’all twisting for excuses like pretzels. But anywho- pic.twitter.com/ksludbLayc — Tenille Clarke (@tenilleclarke1) September 20, 2019 There is a little Black girl whose face is floating around the internet who should be celebrating landing a modeling opportunity for H&M right now. Instead she’ll have to see commentary over how her hair should’ve looked better. — Negrita (@HustleAndFro_) September 20, 2019 Hopefully, the reality and exposure of the tainted way we still view our natural selves will help us change the narrative in our own community. Representation matters, especially when you see it loved among the very people you are representing to the world.

Keeping Up With The Lies: Kim Kardashian Is Trying To Prove She And Khloe Don’t Steal Men; Zero Humans Believe Her

Source: Bravo / Getty Kim Kardashian Defends Khloe The Kardashians are all about preserving their image, no matter how tarnished it may be in some people’s eyes. For years, the wrap on the family, namely Kim and Khloe, has been that they have a long history of stealing men from relationships. Kim has been accused of meddling in Kanye and Amber Rose’s relationship. Khloe was accused of stealing French Montana from Trina as well as Tristan Thompson from Jordan Craig. On this week’s edition of Keeping Up With The Kardashians , Kim said she was breaking the “narrative” that this was the case. So what does she do? She calls up French Montana to set things straight. On the phone, French says that he was never with Trina when he was with Khloe. Word? Kim also says she has “receipts” that will prove her innocence in the Amber situation. Interesting. Of course, this is a classic case of “we don’t believe you, you need more people” as the internet is in total disbelief of the claims. Take a look… Kim really called French Montana on #KUWTK to verify that he wasn’t with Trina when he got with Khloe as if men aren’t serial liars. Source: VH1 / VH1 Fizz And Apryl’s Relationship Still Angers Fans We just love it when the reality shows start to catch up to the drama we witnessed in real-time. We were all pretty shocked when we saw Fizz and Apryl canoodling on Instagram and pouring copious amounts of dirt on Omarion’s name. It was all rather confusing. Now Love & Hip-Hop is finally giving us the inside story on the relationship and how it’s coming to be. As we learned last week, it appears as though this is all about Apryl feeling slighted by Omarion and wanting to get back at him while Fizz is just all about smashing her yadadameans to smithereens. The relationship got even deeper this week as Apryl expressed some mental anguish and emotional difficulties and Fizz was right by her side the whole time. While the moment even had Apryl’s family thanking Fizz for his dedication, the rest of the world was wondering why the hell he didn’t have the same energy for Moniece when she was dealing with these same problems? Leah Remini: I Blame Scientology For My Dad’s Secret Death

Actress Leah Remini shared a heartbreaking post to her Instagram on Sunday, revealing that she had “no idea” her father, George Anthony Remini, had passed away a month ago.  According to Remini, she and her family knew nothing about his illness leading up to his death, saying, “A funeral came and went and none of us knew anything about it.” The thought of this is devastating, but Leah is using this opportunity to let people know that the Church of Scientology is completely to blame for this tragic outcome . The King of Queens star dreamed of the day she would get to restore her relationship with her father, but thanks to the most controversial religious movements of our time , that opportunity never came. “On Friday, I received a message from my sister Nicole, who had been contacted by a stranger passing on his condolences for the passing of our father,” Remini wrote, alongside throwback photos with her father. “We had no idea that he died a month ago.” Unfortunately, Leah is dealing with the emotions of what could’ve been and wishes he sought forgiveness before his passing. “He was not able to redeem himself, to ask for forgiveness for his failures and hurts, to become a better man to those of us who couldn’t help but love him,” Remini continued. “If you read my book, you’ll know my father and I had a difficult relationship, but I always forgave him with a daughter’s painfully endless love and hope.” Although Remini didn’t agree or support her father’s beliefs, she “hoped he would one day acknowledge what he did to his children,” she said. “That alone would have been healing in its own way. We never got that, yet I can’t help but grieve. I am angry at myself for crying for someone who didn’t ever cry for me.” “I am angry that I still wanted this man’s love,” she added. “I’m angry that the last chapter in our relationship was dictated by Scientology.” Because of Leah’s successful A&E series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath , the Church often released videos featuring George Remini, who claimed his daughter did not care about her own family and that she refused to help pay for his cancer treatments. Leah easily blames their later estrangement on the church, saying, “Scientology took my dad in as a pawn against me and likely robbed him of any last ounce of heart that might have been left in him.” “I’m angry that Scientology found his personal weak spots and got him on board not with their beliefs but with their smear campaign against me.” “That was his last presence in my life,” she wrote. And while Remini and her sisters will never be able to forgive Scientology , they would’ve open-heartedly forgiven their father…If he just would have tried. “I would have forgiven him as I always did,” she added. “The little girls inside of my sisters and me will never forgive scientology for taking our last chance to have the one thing we always wanted from our father… And that was for him to say ‘I’m sorry and I loved you.'” Remini’s relationship with her father was so broken that on Father’s Day, in 2018, her message praised her husband for being the “daddy [she] wish [she] had.”  Leah, 49, was a member of the church for 35 years before finally removing herself publicly in 2013. Since leaving, she has been one of the most outspoken critics of the organization by writing books and creating her popular docuseries.  The Scientology community long tried to discredit Remini’s Emmy-winning series and even tried to stop it from airing.  However, the show ended on Remini’s terms, with the two-hour finale airing in August. For Leah’s sake, we’re glad that door has closed. Hopefully, she can put that evil energy behind her and move forward with a positive, happy, and healthy lifestyle. We wish the best for her and her family members who are grieving at this time. View Slideshow: 17 Celebrity Scientologists

Some of that knowledge includes being able to see the   Despite having a ton of grassroots experience walking and fitting for designers like Michi Knitwear, Classic Royalty, Jibri Online, Elila Full Figure Jordan Taylor, Sasha Uzuri, and Etched Lingerie she still took it upon herself to enter Hello Beautiful’s search on the off chance that it might introduce her killer walk to a whole new audience. View this post on Instagram This weekend I had the opportunity to walk in the @curvynoire @madamenoire @hellobeautiful Style Summit! . In a world where society places so much emphasis on what the standard should be I put my foot down and celebrate MY SIZE! You can take it or leave it, but I love all of me and No society and No standard is gonna change that for me! A post shared by iamthequeen87 (@iamthequeen87) on Sep 10, 2019 at 1:28pm PDT What does pose a problem for her is that after she shows up and shows out at a casting, the designer often does not bother to do the same on the day of the show. She described the experience of finding a designer who hired her has nothing appropriate for her to wear as “very disappointing,” “Especially if I cast for the show because obviously they like what they see so I would think they have something for me to wear.” View this post on Instagram Full Face using @blackopalbeauty Foundation and Concealers. So that’s how I feel disappointed.” CurvyNoire was unlike these shows as it was focused on celebrating women of all sizes and not tokenizing them including Smith who stalked the runway like a seasoned professional. “I liked that the designers had fun and fashionable pieces for us, so that was really cool and there was more than one designer that had pieces for us.” View this post on Instagram “Can my Pharoah find some way to entertain his Queen?” . And while you’re at it, go get a bucket to wash my feet A post shared by iamthequeen87 (@iamthequeen87) on Jul 30, 2019 at 4:34pm PDT The show was unlike many others Smith had done in that it presented a variety of women who might have been told their looks were “too similar” to appear on other runways .   Often when chosen from a casting she searched for she would find she was the only one to appear with the “straight size models,” and in that triumph was a little frustration. “The power of modeling is so people can see that there’s more than one thing just like how they have the Victoria’s Secret show they could have twenty white girls that all look the same. Five of them look a little different, five of them could have red hair, you know what I’m saying it’s about the diversity of us too. A lot of the times they have one plus girl or one black girl. They want to put us in this category like that one token plus girl that one token black girl and I kind of want to be added to the roster to show that there’s more than one type of curvy girl.” View this post on Instagram Hakuna Matata A post shared by iamthequeen87 (@iamthequeen87) on Jul 20, 2019 at 9:39am PDT In addition to pursuing a modeling career, and promoting fitness from the perspective of a curvy girl, Smith has several other business ventures she is investing into while working to make her dreams come true. “I do makeup, I sell jewelry, and I have a beverages company now.” That fledgling company Queen Beverages is a nod to her Caribbean heritage, something she values.   It offers, “Jamaican inspired beverages sorrel and rum punch.” She says, “we’ll probably be expanding to other things next year.” View this post on Instagram Take Pride in How Far You’ve Come.
