The March 11th issue of Star Magazine reports: After months of back and forth between the controversial couple, Rihanna and Chris Brown are officially engaged! The “Umbrella” singer, 25, who was photographed with Chris, 23, in Hawaii on Feb. 20 for her birthday celebration, is sporting a simple diamond band on her ring finger, and even uploaded an intimate photo of her and Chris to her Instagram account with the caption, “Like diamonds in the sky.” Her friends, however, aren’t buying it. “Chris still cheats on Rihanna,” says a source. “She just won’t admit it to herself.” Trouble is never far for the couple, who recently avoided each other at a Hollywood nightclub on Valentine’s Day. “He wasn’t into Rihanna that night,” says the pal. “Their relationship is toxic, but she’s over the moon.” Are you buying it? A bloody cricket bat is now the center of the investigation into the death of Oscar Pistorius’ model girlfriend, according to a newspaper in South Africa. Police are unsure if Reeva Steenkamp used the bat in self-defense or if the Olympic sprinter used it, either by hitting her or breaking down a door. Steenkamp reportedly hid in the bathroom of his home and was shot four times through the door; a report says her skull may have been crushed as well. The City Press , a paper in their native South Africa, quotes a source as saying, “There was lots of blood on the bat. Forensic tests will show whose blood it was.” Pistorius was charged with murder . He is due back in court next week. On top of the cricket bat , another report indicates that the athlete called his good friend, Justin Divaris, in tears after he realized he had shot Reeva Steenkamp to death. “Reeva had been shot,” Oscar said on the phone, allegedly. “I said to him, ‘What are you talking about? I don’t understand you,’” Justin told the paper. “He then repeated himself — ‘There has been a terrible accident, I shot Reeva.’” Justin raced over to Oscar’s home, only to find it blocked off. “It was very traumatic,” he said. “By the time we got there it was already a crime scene and we weren’t allowed in the house. But we could see Reeva through the door lying there.” “[Oscar] was totally incoherent and just kept saying, ‘My baba, I’ve killed my baba. God take me away,’” Justin continued. “It is so sad. I introduced Reeva to Oscar.” “She was a really, really good friend of mine too and actually had been a friend longer … I don’t understand exactly what happened but the truth will come out.”

She wasn’t badly injured, Gaga style, but Rihanna suffered a gash on her knee while partying in London the other night, and a bottle-throwing goon may be to blame. Rihanna, who was in town for London Fashion Week, was hurt when someone threw a bottle in the star’s direction and screamed things at her about Chris Brown. She was departing a club called The Box when someone threw a bottle of Lucozade (a UK energy drink) in her direction. The bottle itself didn’t connect, fortunately. Rihanna scraped her knee during the commotion, however, when she looked to hasten her getaway from the scene and brushed up against a metal grate. Her boyfriend(s) know a thing or two about flying bottles. Speaking of, it was an interesting week for Rihanna and Chris Brown , to say the least. After their Grammy Awards love-fest, they appeared to be back on and stronger than ever. Or … not so fast. The music stars shunned one another just three nights later at Hollywood hot spot Playhouse… after which Chris was threatened by a gang member . Thug life .

The former White House intern, 39, will share letters she wrote to Clinton, 66. “In them, she opened her heart about her love for Bill and how much happier she could make him than [Hillary Clinton],” an insider is quoted as saying. “Some of what she wrote was so raw that she never sent them.” Clinton has been so revered since he left the Oval Office that it’s almost easy to forget that he was only the second White House occupant ever to be impeached. He was accused of perjuring himself after his affair with Lewinsky was exposed in 1998; he was acquitted in 1999 and left office in 2001 with strong approval ratings. The 42nd President, whose DNC speech on behalf of President Obama this month was considered by many to be one of his all-time best, has rebuilt his image since. Sources say that Monica Lewinsky’s book will reveal that Bill Clinton derided wife Hillary as a “cold fish” and complained about their “non-existent sex life.” Lewinsky, whose post-scandal life has included work as a news correspondent and handbag designer, has had trouble earning a living, sources explained. “No one will hire her and she can’t get a job … She needs to make money,” says a friend of Monica, who is persona non grata pretty much everywhere. Given that Kate will one day (hopefully) produce the next heir(ess) of the British royal family, there will always be speculation and gossip and it’s all fun. Photoshopping a baby bump onto Kate Middleton pictures , though? That’s gotta be a new, shameless low, even by their immeasurably low standards: Wow, her belly sure grew quickly from one nanosecond ago . As you can see, Star’s BOMBSHELL photo appeared with the headline: “It’s Twins”. It’s not. Nor was it the last time this celeb “news” magazine tried to make it so. For whatever reason, the magazine erased her ring from the cover in addition to altering the shape of her abdominal region. No idea why that was necessary. At least they’ve tried to capitalize on the Kate Middleton topless scandal, teasing pics that aren’t inside. Well done all around! What will they come up with next week? Ninjas in London… Hip-hop’s leading fashionisto, Kanye West, was spotted kickin’ it in the U.K. for London’s fashion week. Half of “The Throne” made an appearance at Mark Fast’s fashion show, and to sneakerhead’s delight, he stepped out in a new colorway of the Air Yeezy 2 ‘s.
