Celebrity Hair Nightmare: Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl is hot. This has not changed. Her recent hairstyle may be almost as bad as her attitude, however. Yeesh. Check out this sky high bouffant she wore to the London premiere of Killers this week. To be fair, it’s not all Katie’s fault. The star ditched her signature blonde locks to play the main character in the film adaptation of the novel One for the Money . It took some getting used to – for her as well. I was pretty shocked at first… I was like, ‘wow, it’s dark, that’s not just brown, that’s black.’ It took me a good day and a half to totally embrace it,” she said. Do you embrace it, though? Vote below … Which hairstyle looks best on Katherine Heigl?

London’s Lord Mayor Cries: ‘Stop Ruining Our Pensions By Being Mean To BP’

“The Lord Mayor of London arrives to make a short speech” Image credit: UK Student Life Digby brings to our attention that a great many UK pensioners rely on BP stock as an underpinning of their retirement income (as, apparently, do some 35% of Americans). Hence, they are angry about BP’s ‘poor’ treatment in US media (and on blogs like this one we can suppose) as it is trashing their stock. I bet they really hate Obama’s demand that dividends be withheld until the damages are assessed.

Diddy Regrets Not Sending Notorious B.I.G. To London The Day He Died

Bad Boy mogul says letting Biggie stay in L.A. is ‘the only regret that does haunt me.’ By Mawuse Ziegbe Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy in 1995 Photo: Evan Agostini/ Getty Images As one of the most money-earning, game-changing, party-starting moguls in entertainment, Diddy has had a lot to celebrate throughout his career. However, the star has also spent a lot of his storied career lamenting the loss of his slain friend and Bad Boy artist, Notorious B.I.G. Diddy recently revealed that one his biggest regrets is not insisting that the late star handle some business overseas; a move that could have saved Biggie’s life. “Probably the only regret that does haunt me was the night that Biggie got killed. … He was supposed to go to London for a promo tour, and he had talked me into letting him stay in L.A.,” the entertainer revealed in a press conference video posted online by US Rap News . “That’s, like, a regret that I have, just not forcing him to get on the plane.” Diddy expressed similar regrets about the day Biggie died in a video blog released last year before the release of the biopic “Notorious.” Biggie was murdered on March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles after attending an after-party for The Soul Train Awards. The case remains unsolved. The situation is eerily similar to the challenge faced by the protagonist in Diddy’s latest movie, Get Him to the Greek. The flick revolves around an ambitious record label rep (played by Jonah Hill) tasked with delivering a rowdy rock star (portrayed by Russell Brand) from London to Los Angeles for a comeback concert. Brand’s character spends most of the movie trying to finagle his way out of his professional commitments. Diddy plays an over-amped music exec whose insane demands and bizarre behavior make things even more difficult for Hill’s character. Diddy-Dirty Money held a press conference in Paris to promote the group’s upcoming album Last Train to Paris. The project includes the steely single “Angels,” which features a verse from B.I.G. Britain to Chris Brown: No Visa For You!

UK officials announced that they have barred Chris Brown from entering Great Britain for a concert due to his vicious 2009 attack on his former girlfriend. “Team Rihanna,” Britain’s Home Office said in a statement. Just kidding, they didn’t say that, though it was basically the same sentiment they expressed. “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the U.K. to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns,” the office said . “Each application to enter the U.K. is considered on its individual merits.” Chris Brown was apparently found meritless. “SORRY to all the fans in Europe!!! my tour is cancelled. Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. I love you. SORRY!!” Brown tweeted in a post subsequently deleted in favor of this official statement from his publicist: “Due to issues surrounding his work visa, the Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown’s Keep Me Relevant Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future.” Brown had been scheduled to perform in Glasgow, London and Manchester in the U.K., along with a stop in the Irish city of Cork. Not gonna happen. The 21-year-old R&B star remains on trash detail as part of his five-year probationary sentence following his guilty plea in the Rihanna assault case. Rihanna didn’t have any visa woes for her UK tour dates this year. Just saying.
