The Bachelorette Season Synopsis Released; Emily Maynard to Travel a Lot

ABC has released, in the form of a season overview, more details of Emily Maynard ‘s search for love, commencing Monday, May 14 on The Bachelorette . While kicking things off in her hometown of Charlotte, Emily will travel to Dubrovnik, Croatia; Prague, Czech Republic; and London, England this summer. Read The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve pulled together so far regarding which men make it to the hometown dates and more, then read ABC’s rundown: The 26-year-old former Bachelor winner first meets her 25 suitors at a southern mansion for a cocktail party after putting six-year-old daughter Ricki to bed. Several of Maynard’s bachelors will attempt to make memorable first impressions during their arrivals as always … that’s par for the course on this show. Think actual glass slippers being presented, dudes riding in on skateboards, a party MC who breaks down into dance, and a gesture from a true southern gentleman who gives Emily something to symbolize how he’d protect her and Ricki. In addition, Maynard will also encounter one suitor who makes a grand entrance in a helicopter … is it Brad Womack? Is it Bentley Williams? No and no. The promos always mislead you that way … The Bachelorette Promo Anyway, once the cocktail party begins, the competition to impress Maynard only intensifies, as a “confident” charmer gets upstaged by a single dad of six. A “handsome” man gives her a pair of custom bobblehead dolls, a bachelor is nervous to explain his career because it may remind her of her late fiance, and another single father brings her a heartfelt letter from his 11-year-old son to read. The mood then turns serious when host Chris Harrison arrives and reveals it’s time for Maynard to present one of the men with a first impression rose. The men will become increasingly competitive, as Emily decides to award the special rose to one “charming” bachelor … a decision surprising nobody. The Bachelorette season premiere will conclude with Maynard whittling her 25 bachelors down to 19. But she’s just getting started at that juncture. Emily Maynard’s around-the-world dates will include: Traveling to Bermuda where she must eliminate three bachelors before leaving. Visiting London for a week where she’ll receive a double-decker bus tour of Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park along with a solo dinner in the Tower of London and watching a group of suitors perform scenes from “Romeo and Juliet” in Stratford-on-Avon. Traveling to Dubrovnik where she’lll watch Pixar’s upocoming Brave movie and a group of bachelors will compete in a round of Highland games to win extra time with her. Going to Prague where Maynard and her remaining bachelors will enjoy a private dinner cruise down the Vltava River, explore a medieval castle, and check out the Lennon Wall of Love and a spooky dungeon. After four hometown dates, the final three men will then have “exotic” overnight dates with Maynard in an undisclosed location. According to ABC, obviously “there are surprises in store for Emily that will shake her world.” Color us shocked and in utter disbelief.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Renew Wedding Vows

Move over, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon . LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian marked a year of wedded bliss by renewing their vows this week as well. LeAnn and Eddie got married April 22 of last year. Friday, they took a romantic trip to Calabasas, Calif., where they decided to exchange I-dos once more. “We renewed our vows today….it’s incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife,” Rimes tweeted. “Here’s to another great year!” LeAnn and Eddie, who were married to Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanvllle , respectively, when they first got together, have come a long way since then. Weathering a storm of criticism, they’ve settled into their new life nicely. The pair spent time relaxing near the ocean, with Rimes tweeting, “CHILLING….listening to Radiohead and enjoying the view… man and beach :).” Saturday, the Twitter-loving country singer said, “Eddie and I went climbing on the rocks in the ocean yesterday to see the thousands of crabs. I did not realize til now just how dab I kicked a rock with two of my toes…OUCH.” Ouch indeed … but at least true love heals all woulds, or something. Congrats on one year, LeAnn and Eddie, and best of luck in year #2!

The world’s most famous newlyweds are no longer newlyweds. It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed since Prince William and Kate Middleton became Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at London’s Westminster Abbey. The royal wedding was a spectacle unlike any other, and not simply because William is royalty: It’s a celebrity news story that isn’t the slightest bit negative! Nary a harsh word is ever said about the couple, who the whole world is rooting for to succeed (while speculating over Kate’s future pregnancy) 24/7/365. April 27th, 2012 was clearly the best day of my LIFE.  I heard a while ago Justin was going to be in NYC on the 27th and I flipped out. I told my mom and she promised me that she would take me and my friend. When the date got closer, we found out where Justin was going to be since he was accepting an award at a Tribeca Film Festival for the Disruptive Innovation Award. It was all perfect until we found out we had a state math test in the morning and Justin would be arriving a little after the test was over. We took the test and once we were done, we went straight into the city and got to the event. When we got there, he had already went in 10 minutes earlier! I was so mad but I knew I would hopefully see him on his way out.  After waiting a little while, barricades were set up so it was a sign Justin would be coming out any minute.  At first Alfredo and Kenny walked by and got into their car. Everyone was so anxious waiting for Justin to come out.  About 20 minutes later, Justin walked out and came down to meet everyone. He had to walk down these stairs and as he was doing that, he said quietly “SWAGGGGGGGGGG”. It was my turn to meet him and I’ve been planning for years for him to kiss me in a picture and I was hoping he would said okay! I was like to him, “Justin can you kiss me on the cheek?” and Justin said of course and automatically kissed me and was like “MWAHHHHHH!!!” He made this huge sound effect and I was freaking out because he kissed me before I got the picture. I thought that during the picture it showed him pulling away already so I said, “JUSTIN!” and without me saying anything he goes, “YOU DIDN’T GET IT? AWWWH”. I asked him again, “Justin, I don’t think my picture came out, can we take another one?” He leaned in right away and he did that over-exagerated “MWAHHH” sound again!   He was so sweet!  My friend and I ran away screaming on the top of our lungs not knowing how to deal with our lives at that moment. I looked at my picture and was so confused why I was only smirking and not smiling! When your in that situation, you don’t even know what you’re doing, you don’t think, so that’s what happened to me. My 3  friends and I jumped into my mom’s car and we chased Justin’s car for blocks and blocks. At one point I jumped out of the car in the middle of the street and Justin gave me the peace sign thru the window! A few blocks after we saw that his car pulled over and Moshe got out to go into a little market or something. Justin was just waiting in the car with the driver.  Paparazzi surrounded the car from a distance and me and the 3 other girls casually walked up to the car and started to talk to Justin. His window was only half down and he said he was sorry for that, but he didn’t want the paparazzi taking pictures of him and we understood.  He was so sweet and kind, he could have easily said please get away from the car and the driver could have gone out and told us to leave but they didn’t do that. We spoke to him until Moshe came back into the car which was about 5 minutes into our conversation.  Justin politely said to us that he had to go and we let him leave.  This day, was the most amazing day of my life. My name is Kalise and it feels pretty weird writing this now. A few days before I met Justin I was reading other people’s Bieber experiences on here! Here’s my story! My friends and I knew that Justin was going to be in London so we went to his hotel and waited in the freezing cold for him (we didn’t care though, it was worth it). Then when he didn’t come outside, we left to go check out some other places that he could be at, but no luck. Already disappointed we thought okay, let’s go back to his hotel quickly just to check. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we saw his car driving round from the back to the road. Everyone started chasing after the car. I wasn’t sure whether it was his so I was a bit hesitant at first, but then I saw his head pop out from the roof of the car as it stopped in the middle of the street, which is when I practically flew across the car in the midst of the busy traffic! I was able to touch his hand!  I was overly happy at this, bit little did I know I was about to be even closer to him later.  We then found out that he was going to be at a secret location doing a private launch session . We quickly went there to find loads of other fans waiting outside for just a glimpse of him too. After about 20 minutes, Kenny came out and said he was going to pick a few random fans to come inside. I was waving my hand trying to get Kenny to notice me, but he walked past me several times, ignoring my frantic plea. I continued to try to catch his attention and finally I did! I was one if the chosen few to accompany Justin at his album launch. Overly excited I went inside with about 10 other beliebers and lined up at the back. Justin introduced a few songs off his new album ‘Believe’ which were AMAZING! Then after his interview with Reggie Yates, Kenny called him over to us. At this point I was freaking out, but tried to remain calm. Justin then came over to hug me and the other fans. I asked him to follow me on Twitter but it was fairly noisy in there so I don’t think he heard, so he just said, “Swaggy” .  Whilst he was talking to someone, he put his hand on my shoulder. I’m kicking myself for not reacting. I didn’t no what to do, I kinda just froze. After that he was talking to one of the other fans whilst he was standing sorta infront of/next to me and I wanted to hold his hand but I didn’t wanna be pushy. I just put my hand next to his hand so that my knuckles were touching the back of his hand and then he realized and just started holding my hand whilst he was in a conversation with someone . (That was actually my favourite part of whole experience with him) Then I said to him, “You know I haven’t eaten all day because I’ve been chasing you around” and he was like, “Chasing me around? And you haven’t eaten? You should go get something now, McDonald’s or something . .” Kenny then said to him it was time to leave, and that was it, my very own bieber experience and it was absolutely incredible. I just wish my friend (@SafiyaStyles) who also loves him could have shared the experience with me. In fact, I wish every fan could meet him.  I’m not gonna be cliche and say ‘Just believe, never say never’ but instead I will say, once you try your utmost to go out and try to find him, eventually you will meet him. Look at me, I had been trying for years. You will come across disappointing times but you just have to keep trying no matter how long it takes. Good luck guys, thanks for reading. My Bieber Experience was on the 23rd April 2012 at Heathrow Airport. I’d travelled up from Birmingham and spent the night before in London because I knew Justin was gonna be there on the 23rd. I kept thinking of a way to meet Justin the next day but I had no idea where he would be! In the morning I happened to come  across  a tweet about where Justin would be landing so I knew I had to go straight to the airport. After waiting around 2.5 hours, Justin suddenly came out of the international arrival door! I have never ran so fast in my life! I managed to get a photo with him on the front camera of my iPhone, he was so nice and took the photo for me because I was shaking too much! He then got escorted off by his security because he was getting bombarded by girls. But I then chased after him and while there was no one around him I ran up to him. I said, “Justin I have your name tattoo’d on me.” I then lifted up my shorts to show him the tattoo. I didn’t know how he was gonna react because I know it’s pretty weird and some people call me a pyscho because of it but I can honestly say Justin changed my life and this was just a little thing I wanted to dedicate to him! Anyway, he said it was awesome! I then got a hug off him! That was the best moment of my life. When arriving back to my hotel I came across an amazing picture on Tumblr showing me and Justin just after I had showed him my tattoo, he had the BIGGEST smile on his face ever, and it made me so happy to see him look at me like that. But the great things didn’t end there. The following day Justin SPOKE ABOUT ME on Capital FM! He said there was a girl with my name tattoo’d on her! This made me so happy to know he had remembered me, and I just wanna say Justin if you read this I’m the girl, please follow me on Twitter @rosieibbotsonxx . It would mean the world to me! This guy is dead a$$ serious about not getting caught Washington Police Looking For Another Way To Capture Murder Suspect Holed Up In Bunker Authorities are planning their next move today after they pumped tear gas into the hillside bunker of a survivalist who allegedly shot his wife and daughter in the head and set the family home on fire. Three dozen SWAT officers hiked through rugged terrain and undergrowth near the Rattlesnake Ridge trail in the Cascade foothills of Washington Friday to reach the elaborate bunker where authorities believe Peter Keller, 41, is hiding. Authorities have not seen Keller since they responded to a fire at his North Bend residence on Sunday. Inside, responders found the bodies of Keller’s wife, Lynnettee Keller, 41, and daughter Kaylene, 19. Keller is believed to have spent eight years planning and building his bunker, as well as stockpiling food and supplies, police said. Bunker? Food and supplies?? Just how serious was this guy about not getting caught? VERY! Even the SWAT team was impressed with Keller’s plan. SWAT officers told King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Cindi West that photos of the bunker “don’t do it justice.” “They said the fort appears to be amazingly fortified,” she told the Associated Press. After pumping tear gas into the bunker, authorities heard movement inside but did not enter the structure, which they believe could be booby-trapped. Keller is also believed to be heavily armed and equipped with a gas mask. “It’s a very extreme and tactical situation. Time is on our side. We’re not going to do anything rash, said King County Sheriff Steve Strachan. The cops say a little sloppiness on Keller’s part is what led them to find this hillside chateau in the first place. Sheriff’s deputies were able to pinpoint Keller’s hiding place after they found photos that he had intended to burn in his home of the bunker. An enhanced picture revealed the North Bend Premium Outlets in the background, which led police to the Rattlesnake Ridge area. The trail will be closed until further notice. What’s the saying? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned ? Dumped Dentist Empties Exes Mouth Of All His Teeth! A scorned dentist is facing jail time after surgically removing all of her ex-boyfriend’s teeth after he dumped her, authorities in London said. Marek Olszewski, 45, made the mistake of scheduling an appointment this week with his ex — 34-year-old Anna Mackowiak — for a toothache, according to the Daily Mail. So Mackowiak allegedly did what any burned beau with a set of pliers and some anesthetic would do: she doped him up, pulled out all his teeth, and wrapped his head with bandages so he wouldn’t notice until he left her office. “I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions,” she told the news site. “But when I saw him lying there I just thought, ‘What a b—–d.’” Olszewski could tell something was wrong when he awoke and couldn’t feel any teeth in his mouth. But he said Mackowiak assured him that he’d be fine once the numbness wore off, NDTV reported. “I didn’t have any reason to doubt her — I mean I thought she was a professional,” he said. He was wrong. “But when I got home I looked in the mirror and I couldn’t f–king believe it,” he said. “The b–ch had emptied my mouth.” Worse, Olszewski’s new girlfriend dumped him because, well, she couldn’t date a man without any teeth, the Daily Telegraph reported. Mackowiak is under investigation for medical malpractice and abusing the trust of a patient. She could face three years in jail for the alleged stunt. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Hugh Swingle Gym Class Heroes’ Travie McCoy Photo: MTV News In previous videos, Gym Class Heroes have shown off their “mutant powers,” gone gritty , and even gotten in touch with their inner Lucius Blacks . But in their upcoming clip for “The Fighter,” they’re taking a different tack: They’re getting real. “The video is part documentary-style, part-performance [and] it follows the life of John Orozco, a young, up-and-coming, hopefully gold medalist from the Bronx,” GCH frontman Travie McCoy told MTV News on the set of the video. “Plus, an awesome, energetic performance from us and Ryan Tedder.” Orozco’s story — from a talented Bronx gymnast to training at the U.S. facility in Colorado Springs to perhaps this country’s best chance of snagging a gold at the London Olympics — has already caught the attention of outlets like the New York Times, and GCH are hoping their new video will only add to his profile. And provide a soundtrack to his success too. “Ryan did his thing on the hook, he adds the extra punch,” McCoy said. “And with the Olympics and stuff coming up, I think it’s going to be the anthem for a lot of people to get pumped up to.” Of course, there are other benefits to having one of the most hotly tipped Olympic hopefuls star in your new video.
