Bobbi Kristina Drove Into Oncoming Traffic Days Before Tub Incident Bobbi Kristina Brown was involved in a car crash just three days before she was found face down in a bathtub, Bossip has learned. The 21-year-old, who is now fighting for her life after a friend found her unconscious in her tub, hit another car Jan. 27, when she drifted into oncoming traffic, according to a Roswell Police accident report obtained by Bossip. “At the scene it was found that the driver of a silver Jeep Liberty travelling Westbound had lost control of her vehicle, crossed in to the eastbound lanes and collided with a gray Ford Taurus,” the accident report stated. Bobbi Kristina lists herself as a self-employed “entertainer,” according to the report. Bobbi Kristina was driving her 18-year-old friend’s Jeep Liberty, with the friend, Danyela Da Silva, when she swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Ford Taurus. The other driver, Russell John Eckerman, was taken to the hospital, along with one of Bobbi Kristina’s passengers. Police cited her for “Failure to Maintain Lane.”

Red carpet reporter Giuliana Rancic wants newly-hired colleague Maria Menounos out of the picture over on E! News, according to new reports. Why does she allegedly care? And will she be successful? Rancic, 40, and Menounos, 36, have both interviewed so many famous faces over the years that they have become stars themselves in their own right. Perhaps for this reason, there’s a bit of a turf war in effect. According to an industry insider close to the celebrity gossip and news network, “Giuliana feels like Maria is stealing her show and she is terrified.” As a result, “She wants Maria out,” a source told In Touch . “Giuliana feels threatened by Maria” because of her contract, which “includes Live From E!, as well as stake in the company and her own show.” It didn’t help matters when a scheduling snafu on Rancic’s part left the door open for Maria to step in and host E!’s SAG Awards red carpet coverage. Or even if it is true that they’re considering it, they still don’t know it’s a girl yet. As for why Kate Middleton and her husband picked that name (supposedly), a source told celebrity gossip magazine OK! that it was an easy call. Diana got the nod since they “felt they needed to go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, and that had a lot of meaning to them.” Elizabeth has even more meaning … according to people gambling on this. Ladbrokes, a British-based gaming company, currently handicaps Diana at 12/1, while Elizabeth is the odds on favorite at 5/1 (and we love Britain). Amy Pascal announced today that she will resign from her post as head of Sony Pictures, effective immediately. Often cited as the movie industry’s top female executive, Pascal has been with Sony since 1996. Her departure comes on the heels of the Sony hacking scandal that was sparked by the release of the controversial Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy, The Interview. Pascal’s resignation might be viewed by some as another cyber warfare victory for the North Korean group responsible for the hacks. However, it’s worth noting that in lieu of renewing her contract, Pascal has signed a production deal with Sony that will have her helming some of the studio’s biggest projects over the next four years. In all likelihood, her resignation is just an attempt by Pascal and Sony to distance themselves from one another in the public’s eye. In addition to being involved in the exchange of the now-infamous racist Barack Obama emails , Pascal was widely criticized for her handling of the hacking scandal. She was at least partially responsible for the decision to pull The Interview from theaters , a move that many regarded as a cowardly concession to the terrorists that may have set a dangerous precedent. As has been well chronicled on The Hollywood Gossip, scarcely anyone out there can let Frozen go, as covers of songs from this animated smash continue to go viral. But Steve Doocy led a discussion on Fox & Friends yesterday regarding this Disney movie that focused on a very different Frozen topic: Is it sexist? Against men?!? Fox News Argues Frozen is Sexist “From what we’ve seen, it looks like Frozen depicts men as evil and cold and bumblers,” Doocy said to Concerned Women for America president Penny Nance. “What kind of message does that send?” Nance, a Christian women’s advocacy group leader, agreed with Doocy’s sentiments. “It’s not just Disney,” Nance said. “Hollywood in general has often sent a message that men are superfluous, that they’re stupid, that they’re in the way and if they contribute anything to the family, it’s a paycheck. And that is not true, and it is not good social science.” It’s about time someone focused on the plight of men in this country, don’t you think?!? Doocy and Nance agree that Princess Elsa ( Celebrity of 2014 #6 !) is a positive role model for young women… but won’t someone consider the young men?!? “We want to raise heroes,” Nance argues. “We want to raise real men. That will stick in their families and be great dads and be great providers and great husbands.” Seriously, Hollywood.
