It’s been a tough few months for Khloe Kardashian. First she dumped French Montana , presumably after learning he cheated on with every chick he laid eyes on. Then she attempted to divorce Lamar Odom (finally) but apparently hasn’t been able to locate the dude. Fortunately, KK has a productive way of dealing with stress: Based on the photos she’s been posting, Khloe hits the gym every day . So naturally when it came time to mark the occasion of reaching 14 million (!) Instagram followers she decided to celebrate by showing the world that all that hard work has paid off: Khloe’s unlikely to win any feminist fans by captioning the pic “#THOT” (Internet slang for “that hoe over there”), but the shot itself should certainly gain her more male followers. Khloe even blurred out the rest of the pic to ensure that all eyes are on her famous Kardashian asset. There’s been rumors that  Khloe is suffering from an eating disorder , but she certainly looks healthy to us. Perhaps even more importantly, despite all the break-ups and drama of the past year, it certainly looks as though Khloe isn’t suffering from any self-esteem issues. Thomas Menino Dies: Beloved Boston Mayor Was 71

Thomas M. Menino – the longest-serving mayor in the history of the city of Boston – died today at the age of 71. Menino was elected to his post back in 1993. He retired earlier this year after overseeing a decades-long urban renewal project that revitalized the appearance and identity of the city in which he was born and raised. Just two months after stepping down in January of 2014, Menino announced that he was battling an advanced form of cancer that had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Menino’s most notable achievement in recent years may have been serving as a source of strength and guidance for frightened citizens in the wake of the Boston marathon bombing of 2013. “Bold, big-hearted, and Boston strong, Tom was the embodiment of the city he loved and led for more than two decades,” said President Obama in a statement issued earlier today. “As Boston’s longest-serving mayor, Tom helped mane his hometown the vibrant, welcoming, world-class place it is today. His legacy lives on in every neighborhood he helped revitalize, every school he helped turn around, and every neighborhood he helped make a safer, better place to live.” Menino leaves behind his wife Angela, as well as two children and six grandchildren. Marcia Strassman Dies; Veteran TV Actress Was 66

Marcia Strassman, a veteran actress best known for roles on M*A*S*H and Welcome Back, Kotter, died today after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. She was 66 years old. Curb Your Enthusiasm director Bob Weide confirmed Strassman’s passing on Twitter, writing: “So sad that a sweet friend, kind person & wonderful actress Marcia Strassman lost her brave battle with cancer today.” Best known for her lead roles in the TV series Welcome Back, Kotter and the comedy film Honey I Shrunk the Kids (along with its sequel, Honey I Blew Up the Kids), Strassman also served on the national board of the Screen Actors Guild. “She was the funniest, smartest person I ever met,” said Julie Strassman of her sister. “And talented. She knew everything. Now I won’t be able to call her and ask her questions. Strassman was born New York City, and grew up in New Jersey. Geneva Thomas And Melyssa Ford Physically Fight During Reality Show Taping The reality stars of “Blood Sweat And Heels” are really putting the “blood” in the mix on their upcoming season. Reports surfaced this morning about a fight breaking out between BSH cast members Geneva Thomas and Melyssa Ford….and now a video has emerged showing what looks like the tail end of the fight. Law enforcement has reportedly told TMZ that Geneva was on a boat in NYC during a shoot for the show when she and Melyssa got into an argument. The confrontation then escalated when Geneva reportedly threw a bottle, hitting Melyssa directly in the head. Oscar De La Renta Dies; Legendary Fashion Designer Was 82

Iconic fashion designer Oscar De La Renta has passed away at the age of 82. Over the course of his more than 50 year career, De La Renta designed clothing for some of the world’s most famous women. Most recently, he designed Amal Alamuddin’s wedding dress .  Born in 1932 in the Dominican Republic, De La Renta first made a name for himself in the US by designing dresses for Jacqueline Kennedy. In the decades that followed, first ladies Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, and Laura Bush frequently wore designs by De La Renta. De La Renta was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, but appeared to be in good health in recent months. The news of De La Renta’s death broke just minutes ago, but the most famous names in the world of fashion are already expressing their grief and condolences on social media. Appearing at this year’s CFDA awards, De La Renta spoke of his recent health problems, saying, “Yes, I had cancer. Right now I am totally clean. The only realities in life are that you are born, and that you die.” “We always think we are going to live forever. The dying aspect we will never accept. Joanne Borgella Dies; Former American Idol Finalist Was 32 Years Old

Joanne Borgella, a finalist on Season 7 of American Idol and the first-ever winner of Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance, died after a long battle with cancer on Saturday. She was 32 years old. Borgella’s family confirmed the tragic news via a brief message on Facebook that reads: “With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Joanne.” Borgella competed on the opening season of Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance as “Miss F.A.T.” She went on to advance to the final 12 women in 2008 on American Idol . Five years later, Joanne was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, updating fans about her condition in a series of Facebook videos.. Her last update came on September 23, as she prepared for more radiation and chemotherapy. “At an early age, Joanne made a choice to serve and trust the Lord; and since her diagnosis over a year ago, Joanne made a choice to also be a fighter and share her journey with the world,” her family wrote on Facebook, adding: “Her faith, courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle she encountered,” continued Borgella’s family. “Although our family is suffering with this great loss, we find comfort in the closeness Joanne shared with the Lord. “We know her spirit still shines and will continue to live on in heaven.” Celebrities We Lost in 2014 1. Now that shooting has wrapped, Hoult and KStew are still spending a lot of time together. Russell Brand looks to be Donald Trump’s latest Twitter target after The Donald saw his non-existent interview with Jimmy Fallon and was apparently unimpressed. “I watched Russell Brand @rustyrockets on the @jimmyfallon show the other night – what the hell do people see in Russell – a major loser!” Trump wrote. He then added, “@katyperry must have been drunk when she married Russell Brand @rustyrockets – but he did send me a really nice letter of apology!” Why he decided to weigh in on the zany British comic, or include Brand and Perry’s handles so that each would see his wisdom, is quite unclear. Brand did not appear on The Tonight Show, however, although he has been on Today, The View, The Late Show and Entertainment Tonight this week. Russell didn’t attack Trump in any of those interviews, but he did respond later, asking “.@realDonaldTrump are you drunk when you write these tweets?” “Or does that foam you spray on your bald head make you high?
