David Ogden Stiers is best known for having played Major Charles Emerson Winchester III on the hit series M*A*S*H* and for voicing Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast . Those are just two highlights of a prolific career. Sadly, the legendary actor has now passed away. He was 75 years old. David Ogden Stiers passed away peacefully in his home in Newport. His agent, Mitchell Stubbs, tells The Oregonian/Oregon Live that the esteemed actor had been waging a losing war against bladder cancer . Cancer is a vicious killer, and doesn’t care how talented someone is or the level of their cultural impact. Even those who have never seen an episode of M*A*S*H* in their lives have doubtless been touched by Stiers’ work on television, in films, in animation, and in video games. David Ogden Stiers was born in Peoria, Illinois to parents Margaret Elizabeth (whose maiden name was Ogden) and Kenneth Truman Stiers. As a young man, David briefly attended the University of Oregon after graduating from North Eugene High School. However, he would end up moving to San Francisco in order to pursue his passion for acting. He worked with such groups as California Shakespeare Theater, San Francisco Actors Workshop, and an improv group called The Committee. Stiers studied drama at Juilliard from 1968 until 1972, where he was mentored by John Houseman. His very early acting credits included The Mary Tyler Moore Show and appearing in the pilot of Charlie’s Angels . David Ogden Stiers’ very distinctive voice can be heard off-screen in THX-1138 , which was George Lucas’ very first film. Obviously, most people’s first memorable introduction to Stiers was when he joined the cast of M*A*S*H* in 1977, filling the void created by the departure of Larry Linville (who portrayed Frank Burns). Stiers portrayed an aristocratic and haughty man who was nonetheless an extremely talented surgeon. He was nominated for two Emmy Awards for that role, the first in 1981 and the second in 1982. In terms of voicework, easily his most famous role was in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast , voicing Cogsworth, the clock who quips “If it isn’t Baroque, don’t fix it.” He would go on to do more work for Disney, voicing the primary antagonist of Pocahontas (we mean Governor Radcliffe, not the concepts of colonialism or of Disney’s historical whitewashing). He also had roles in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (arguably Disney’s most underrated film) and in The Hunchback of Notre Dame . And, of course, he voiced Jumba Jookiba in Lilo & Stitch . David Ogden Stiers continued to make appearances in live action media as well, appearing as the villainous Oberoth in a recurring role on Stargate Atlantis in 2007 and appearing in an episode of Leverage in 2011. In 2009, Stiers came out as gay, stating in an interview that he was “very proud to be so” and he no longer wished to hide it. Good for him. Though he lived a full life and fans will always treasure his work, he will be missed. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam

Most Hilarious God’s Plan Memes If there’s one thing Drake videos are good for it’s a fantastic viral meme. We had him dancing on “Hotline Bling,” for instance, that sparked insanity on the internet for a year. But this God’s Plan hug may have topped it. The hug has sparked all sorts of tales of inspiration and all of them are comedy. *steals $100 out of my girlfriend’s purse* Her: “Omg baby I lost $100 I could cry right now” Me: “Oh wow, that’s horrible, Here here’s $40 keep it” *God’s plan starts playing* pic.twitter.com/MfW4bqfeXQ — Tony_Jay (@Troo_Blue) March 2, 2018 Take a look and enjoy the internet having fun with Drake…again.
Kylie Jenner has celebrated the one-month birthday of her first child by sharing a different kind of first: Her very first photo of her post-pregnancy belly. Two weeks after Jenner gave birth to Stormi Webster on February 1, the 20-year old shared a picture of herself in the driver’s seat of a car. But Kylie was wearing some kind of jumpsuit that covered her entire body, only giving fans a general glimpse of how she and her stomach were recovering from the trauma of child birth. A short while later, Jenner once again posted an image on social media. This snapshot centered on the reality star’s impressive legs … but, once again, Kylie’s belly was being kept under wraps. That was then, however, and this is now. And now Kylie is ready to show off her svelte figure, a mere month after becoming a mother to a precious little girl. Clearly psyched about all the weight she has already lost since pregnancy, Jenner wrote “1 monthhhhhhhhh” as a Snapchat caption to this image. As you can see, it features Kylie in a tight black shirt and a pair of black string bikini underwear bottoms. And that’s it. Nothing else. It’s the Kylie Jenner we all remember from several months ago, before she started to shun the spotlight in order to focus on impending motherhood. According to a previous report, Kylie has been on an insane diet of late, scarcely ever eating more than 1,500 calories per day and working out nonstop. She allegedly eats wild salmon for breakfast, turkey and salad for lunch and then maybe just soup early evening. This diet is making her “miserable,” an insider claims, but apparently it’s accomplishing its all-important goal of getting Kylie back to her pre-baby weight. Elsewhere, Travis Scott paid tribute to his one-month old in a very different way. The rapper did not share a picture of his abs or anything like that. Instead, he posted the above photo on Instagram and penned as a caption: “My lil mama 1 month today. Her favorite unit of course.” Neither Jenner nor Scott has said a whole lot about Stormi since she entered the world, although Kylie did recently respond to to one fan on Twitter in late February, saying the baby “is “good” and “looks just like me when I was a baby.” How adorable! The new mother also admitted she’s still in total awe of her daughter, telling the user she is “still staring at her all day.” And this is what Jenner had to say the day she announced the arrival of Stormi, regarding why she had been so quiet in the months leading up to that occasion: I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and i just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this i could burst! Thank you for understanding. Currently, Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child. While we don’t know her exact due date, we do know that she’s about 8 months along. Which is why it’s odd that the reality star is currently in Japan. Typically, pregnant women are discouraged from traveling by plane in their third trimester. We’re no doctors, but we’re guessing extremely long flights over large bodies of water are especially frowned upon. Perhaps that’s why Tristan Thompson is said to be deeply upset about Khloe’s recent travels, “Tristan did not want her going at all. But she didn’t listen, and told him there was just no way she could pass it up,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. Thompson reportedly fears not only that Khloe may have put her baby in danger, but also that he might miss the birth while she’s abroad. “Tristan is just worried sick right now,” says the insider. “He feels like she could have put their baby’s life in danger by flying so far away, especially since it is not too uncommon for women to go into labor early.” Apparently, he’s not the only one who’s shown concern, as Khloe’s doctors recently cautioned her to take it easy. “Khloe was told to slow down on numerous occasions, but she insisted that she go to Tokyo with her sisters for a promotional gig,” the source claims. Khloe’s pregnancy has not been without complications, and it seems like this is not simply a case of Tristan being overprotective. Khloe has stated on several occasions that she plans to slow down and take a hiatus from the spotlight after her baby is born. These days, it seems she’s trying to cram as much activity into the final weeks of her pregnancy as possible. And for obvious reasons, that’s a worrisome plan. We can only hope that following her Japan trip, the expectant mother will heed the advice of her physicians and begin to take it easy. Khloe recently revealed that she plans to give birth in Cleveland in order to be closer to Tristan, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hopefully, that’ll be the end of her travels for the next few weeks. View Slideshow: Khloe Kardashian Pregnant: What Do We Know? What Do We Need to Know?
Amy Schumer took fans by extreme surprise this month when she went out and got married to Chris Fischer . The comedian and the celebrity chef got married on a random Tuesday afternoon in Malibu, expressing their perpetual love for each other in front of family members and friends. Now, two weeks after shocking the entertainment world with her wedding, Schumer has provided a few more details about her big day… … one of which does NOT come as a surprise. “Part of the thing that's good about us getting married so quickly is that we're so in love,” Schumer said on SiriusXM’s You Up With Nikki Glaser podcast, adding: “Every girl I know, if they get proposed to they're like, ‘Oh now? Now that I can't have kids!'” Schumer also explained how she penned her vows in 20 minutes and how she isn't very proud of what she said; although one thing she said fits the persona this occasionally NSFW comic has developed for herself. “In my vows I go, ‘I promise I’ll keep going down on you, even though everyone tells me I won’t,’” she joked, comparing her loving words to those of Fischer: “And his were like, heckling me too. He was like, ‘The other day I lost a tennis match and you called me a fucking loser.’ It was all like, awful shit.” There were some sweet words exchanged between the newlyweds, too, however. Schumer has shared a video filmed during the ceremony and reception, some of which includes Schumer and Fischer standing before their attendees and saying some pretty terrific things to one another. “People are wondering, 'Why the rush?' and it's because I truly cannot wait another second to be your wife. I love you,” Amy says down below, to which Fischer replied: “I love you, Amy. You bring happiness and joy to every part of my life. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I love you with every piece of my heart.” Excuse us while we go in a corner and melt from happiness, okay? As for how Schumer feels now that she's married? “It feels f-cking good! I'm a wife as hell,” she gushed on the aforementioned podcast. Watch the special wedding footage below:
