June Shannon is making her way back to TV screens across the country in a brand new series. The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star will take center stage in a new reality TV series on WeTV that will chronicle her attempts to improve her look. “I’m a Mama, a Grandmama, and a big reality star—and now I’m ready for a big change,” Mama June tells us in a new promo. “It’s time to say goodbye to bad men and junk food,” Mama June says. “Say hello to a whole new me, because when they see what I look like now, they’re not going to believe their eyes!” On a recent episode of Botched , Shannon revealed that she had already lost 150 pounds by changing her lifestyle. Now, we're all for people being the best versions of themselves, but is another reality show really what Mama June needs? As you probably already know, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled after four seasons due to June allegedly dating a man who spent time in prison for molesting her daughter. The man in question, Mark Anthony McDaniel, Sr., was convicted of aggravated child molestation of an 8-year-old in March 2004. Aside from the change in Shannon's body, few other details are known about the show. One of the reasons it took so long for her to make her way back to TV was because she was still under contract with TLC… even though they refused to air the final episodes of the series. Might her return to the spotlight pave the way for a more permanent return to the small screen? Hopefully not. Watch the full promo below…
Piers Morgan is standing behind his very public disdain for the Women’s March. On Saturday, across the globe, millions of women (and many men) protested the Presidency of Donald Trump, wearing pink cat (that is, pussy) hats, holding up signs and making their voices known. Over three-quarters of a million people turned out in Los Angeles. Over a half million in Washington D.C. The overall numbers were staggering. But Morgan was unimpressed. “Imagine if there were a load of men-only marches today? The feminists would go crackers,” the talk show host wrote yesterday morning, later adding: “I’m planning a ‘Men’s March’ to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists. Who’s with me?” That would be the irony, of course. That would be the best thing that could happen. Morgan absolutely should organize a Men’s March to combat the creeping global emasculation of his gender by rabid feminists. And then we can sit back and see if it attracts the same number of people as a march aimed at promoting freedom of choice… equal pay for both genders… and reproductive rights. In response to a great deal of backlash online, Morgan said it was all for protesting and all for feminists. But he’s also for his own freedom of speech to criticism the protests and he’s strongly against “rabid feminists,” adding in a series of Tweets: There are far better ways to challenge Trump than marching around in pink pussy hats. I fully support their right to protest, just as freedom of speech gives me the right to criticise the purpose of their protest. 53% of American white women voted Trump. I bet half these ‘pussy’ protestors didn’t vote at all. Let’s be honest, ladies.. today’s Women’s March is just an anti-democratic protest at Trump winning the presidency. One of the main reasons Hillary lost was that she & her supporters exuded air of entitlement to her becoming being 1st female president. Ashley Judd: Watch, React to Her “Nasty Woman” Women’s March Poem Morgan also took aim at Ashley Judd’s popular speech (above), specifically how she said Trump has “wet dreams” about his daughter, Ivanka. And Morgan REALLY went off on Madonna, who did say in her speech (below) that she had thought about blowing up the White House. “Publicly threatening to bomb the White House is a serious criminal offence. @Madonna should be arrested,” Morgan wrote, later using this as an example of how the March was hypocritical across the board: “Bomb threats, Hitler & incest taunts, foul-mouthed rants…and this was a march to ‘End the hate’? Shameful hypocrisy.” Madonna: I Want to Blow Up the White House! As you might expect, Morgan heard it from his fair share of critics on Twitter in reply to these remarks. Some kept it simple (“Being threatened by strong women is not a good look for you.”), while others may have gone a tad overboard, such as this Tweet: “The next time Piers Morgan is trending I hope its because he’s been crippled and impoverished. He should have to die slowly like that.” But Morgan – who has slammed Jennifer Aniston for others judging her and spoken out passionately in favor of gun control over the years – was unfazed by the negative feedback. Sounding a lot like Donald Trump, in fact, he pointed to his growing number of Twitter followers as proof of… well… something. “UPDATE: I’ve attracted 10,000 new followers in 24hrs. Thanks, ladies!” Morgan wrote this morning. Where do you stand on Morgan’s controversial takes? He said he is “amused by all the fulminating outrage at my suggestion of a Men’s March, especially from women. Kinda proves my point… “Just need @KimKardashian & @emrata to post bird-flipping topless selfies to support #WomensMarch for the farce to be complete.” Morgan’s Twitter follower count may be on the rise, but is his popularity? Does that even matter in a age where the President himself brags about Twitter followers and simply insults the heck out of anyone who doesn’t like him? Sound off below. Then go drink a lot of alcohol.
You may not recognize the name Miguel Ferrer, but if you’re a fan of film and television, you’re almost certainly familiar with his work. Ferrer passed away today at the age of 61, but the respected “actor’s actor” and first cousin of George Clooney leaves behind a body of work that will endure for generations. Ferrer racked up more than 120 credits over the course of his 36 years in the industry. As a young man, he embarked on a career in music, playing drums for Keith Moon’s debut solo effort. It wasn’t long, however, before Hollywood came calling and Ferrer quickly found work as a character actor in a number of “tough guy” roles. Though he starred in films as varied as RoboCop, Traffic, and Iron Man 3, it is for his work in several long-running TV series for which Ferrer will likely be best remembered. Ferrer stole scenes in recurring roles on Miami Vice, Twin Peaks, Tales From the Crypt, Desperate Housewives, Crossing Jordan, and NCIS: Los Angeles. His talent for playing gruff cops and crooks made him a go-to favorite for crime dramas – as well as for projects that skewered the genre. Ferrer’s distinctive voice earned him frequent high-profile animation gigs in features like Mulan and Rio 2, as well as in beloved series such as Adventure Time and Robot Chicken. NCIS: Los Angeles showrunner R. Scott Gemmill issued a statement to the press just moments after news of Ferrer’s death went public. “Today, NCIS: Los Angeles lost a beloved family member,” Gemmill wrote. “Miguel was a man of tremendous talent who had a powerful dramatic presence on screen, a wicked sense of humor, and a huge heart. Our thoughts go out to his wife Lori, his sons, and his entire family. “He will be greatly missed.” Sources say Ferrer died peacefully at his California home this afternoon, surrounded by family and friends. He was active on NCIS and in several other projects up until the time when his illness left him bed-ridden. Ferrer was scheduled to appear in the Showtime reboot of Twin Peaks debuting in May, but it is not known if he had completed filming. Ferrer’s expansive body of work and reputation as one of Hollywood’s most genuine nice guys combined to make him a trending topic on Twitter just moments after the world learned of his death. The actor is survived by wife Lori, and sons Lukas and Rafi. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Passed Away in 2016: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Jeremy Calvert has a few things to say to Leah Messer. A few angry and bitter things to say to Leah Messer, we should clarify. As those who watch Teen Mom 2 online or on television witnessed this week, tension ran unusually high between Jeremy and Leah. The parents of three-year old daughter Adalynn divorced back in 2015, but had been on relatively amicable terms until recently. Not any longer, and it appears the reality show is to blame. Calvert, who recently called out MTV for manipulating footage and ruining lives through editing, went off on TM2 and his ex-wife. Jeremy was not pleased about Messer’s interpretation of his actions, making it look like he practically kidnapped their child. As depicted on Monday’s episode, Calvert took Adalynn on a trip to Ohio , failing to answer any phone calls or texts from Leah. The incident took place after Messer’s hometown of Elkview, West Virginia, suffered a major flood. Here’s where it gets a little complicated: While Messer’s house fortunately came out of the natural disaster unscathed, Calvert’s family residence in Ohio was significantly damaged. Jeremy therefore left South Dakota, where he had been working as a pipeline engineer, to return home and help out his folks. He had Adalynn with him at the time, and Leah claimed she was left in the dark when it came to her child’s whereabouts. “We’re supposed to get another flash-flood warning, and she’s in another city and I know nothing!” she screamed at one point. Leah later said Jeremy “lied” when confronted about this But now Calvert has taken to Instagram to tell his side of the story, which he says is just another case of MTV stirring up drama. “So, to clarify tonight’s episode about me leaving West Virginia and not informing Leah on my travels,” the reality star captioned a video clip. Jeremy Calvert Clarifies Teen Mom 2 Scene “I texted her at 6:42 pm and did not get a text message back until 9:38 pm when I was already in Ohio.” He continued in his attempt to escape blame: “I am not waiting around 3 hours for my ex-wife to respond to me and say yes you can take our child to Ohio or not during a disaster.” “We didn’t have no water, electricity and everything was flooded, debris everywhere. “So, no, I was trying to spend some quality time with my daughter while I had a chance to be home from South Dakota even though it was a complete nightmare trip and everybody lost everything.” “So, I tried my best to communicate.” “I can’t help if somebody don’t answer their phone, read text messages or whatever situation may be on that behalf. I can only do what I can do.” Jeremy Calvert Goes Off on Teen Mom 2 Editing “The phone conversations you all saw tonight took [place] a week later when I was already back in West Virginia,” he continues. Unlike how it looks, he was “packing my clothes, getting ready to go back to work in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.” “Therefore MTV, all they want to do is stir the pot and cause more drama that was unnecessary.” “Because we had already hashed out the issues, but they wanted to bring it back up,” he says. “So they have some good drama for TV for you all to watch and get your own opinions about and get the ratings through the roof.” “So there you go on that bunch of bulls–t.” It doesn’t sound as though this will be the last time we hear from Calvert on this topic, which he has promised to refute on a line-item basis. “As a repercussion for deceitful editing, I will address each scene with what really happened,” he told Instagram followers earlier this month, adding: “I appreciate all of your support over the years.” He has not addressed rumors that Jeremy Calvert and Brooke Wehr broke up earlier this month after getting engaged last fall. Messer, meanwhile, seems unfazed by her ex-husband’s complaints and rants, or is certainly trying to put on a positive front. On Tuesday night, she shared a meme that reads “Don’t let anyone rent a space in your head, unless they’re a good tenant.” Determined not to let either Jeremy bring her down or criticism over her parenting affect her, Messer wrote the following as a caption to this message: Becoming aware of who and what impacts you positively and negatively is essential to learning how to choose to feel good. Your thoughts and how you think about things create your feelings yet it’s important to remember that they don’t define you. T ake inventory of who is taking residence in your mind. Observe their presence and how you’re affected by them. If they’re not good tenants, it’s time to evict! A good first step is to replace the thought of them with someone who adds value to your life, then make a mental list of at least 10 things you appreciate about this person. Your mood will elevate almost immediately. View Slideshow: Leah Messer’s Messed-Up Love Life: The Ultimate Timeline! There is no reason to excuse perpetual behavior that doesn’t serve you. We think we speak for all television viewers when we say the following: FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Following a hiatus that lasted way too long, Scandal Season 6 will finally kick off on ABC on Thursday, January 26. The series took an extended break between the spring and this winter due to star Kerry Washington's real-life pregnancy. So Ellen DeGeneres figured that Washington needed some practice prior to reprising her beloved role as Olivia Pope on this addictive new drama, inviting the actress on her talk show for a game of “Speak Out.” This basically involved Washington putting a piece of plastic inside her mouth and trying to … well… speak out. In coherent fashion. And it involved Ellen having to guess what the heck Washington is saying. Before asking readers to hit PLAY on the following video in order to see this hilarious back-and-forth in action, we had to get at least try to give fans a few Scandal spoilers prior to the show's big return. “It's worth the wait,” Washington told Ellen during their taping, referring to the election that happens on the show. “In the first 10 minutes you will find out who won and who lost.” We can't wait! Did Team Prima manage to beat out Team Arete? That was one of the more pressing questions on the latest episode of Celebrity Apprentice. Team Prima realized they were losing their ladies quickly after the loss of Snooki. The teams met up at the Peterson Automotive Museum to be briefed on their next task. Both teams were in charge of creating a full photo campaign for Kawasaki motorcycles. Kyle was named the project manager for Team Prima, while Carson was the manager for Team Arete. There was some confusion over what the men were actually doing, but it seemed like they were planning on using naked drag queens for their pictures. Kyle stepped back from giving ideas to the team because her most recent ones only got the team in trouble. Brooke decided to call in her husband for a photo shoot as the face of the campaign. However, tensions flared when David worried that he would not look masculine enough if he had his picture taken on the back of a bike. Is this dude for real? In the boardroom, Gemma told Team Prima that David deciding at the last minute to sit at the front of the motorbike ruined their campaign. Team Arete won… again! Kyle was upset that her team lost again and quizzed Patrick about what went wrong for them, but he was quick to point out that this was the third time she had cost her team a win. Kyle took Brooke and Porsha with her back into the boardroom. It was definitely odd that she opted to choose them when you consider the fact that the pair contributed a lot. After a huge argument about who was at faults, Kyle was terminated. Arnold grew concerned about the women losing pretty much every competition and decided that it was time for the teams to be changed up. Vince, Chael and Carson joined up with Lisa and Porsha, while Brooke and Laila joined Jon, Boy George, Matt and Ricky. The teams were then told they would create a candy, and the aim was to sell the most. Team Prima were quick to start selling, but Team Arete were concerned about the quality of the product. Team Arete was struggling, but then PK and Dorit showed up from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with $80,000. In the end, Team Prima eked out the win by making over $378,000. Ricky refused to accept defeat and chose Jon and Laila to return to the boardroom. This was the first time this season that the right people were all in the boardroom. After much back and forth, Arnold was quick to reveal he could not get over the fact that Jon only sold $500 of products and he was terminated. They really are dropping like flies on this show.
