With all respect to Ned Umber, there were no major deaths on what most would say was the most anticipated season premiere in television history. But there were a few major revelations. None more pressing than the little nugget Samwell passed along to his very best friend, Jon Snow, who finally knows something… … yet likely wishes he did not. Indeed, Jon now knows that he’s the little nugget of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. He’s Aegon Targaryen, the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and the person to whom all residents of the Seven Kingdoms ought to be bowing down… not that misguided, very attractive and occasionally homicidal Mother of Dragons. That should make for some awkward pillow talk the next time these two fly off to some snow-covered caves and waterfalls, huh? “We could stay a thousand years. No one would find us,” Dany told her lover (and, ummm, nephew) about halfway through the season premiere, as the episode really tried to drive home the love these two blood relatives feel for one another. Will Jon tell Dany the truth? Will she respond by making (n)ice or with some serious fire? This was the key takeaway from a premiere that spent most of its time moving everyone into place for war. Just like the other main revelation from the premiere (Jaime seeing that Bran is very much alive and, in his own way, doing quite well), however, it was something the audience already knew. Yes, it’s exciting to think of where things will go now that Jon and Dany both think they have a claim to the Throne. And who out there isn’t psyched to see Jaime issue a “yo, totally my bad, but you caught me f-cking my sister” to Bran? But still: When there are only six total episodes remaining on the most popular drama of all-time, it’s fair for some fans to feel annoyed that no one really died on this premiere and no stunning truths were revealed to the viewers. Dany and Jon went on a dragon ride! Arya reunited with her quasi sibling! And asked for a speciasl Dragonglass weapon! And got to trash talk the Hound! Sansa met (and stared down) Dany! Euron got to be all arrogant and sexy, while getting into Cersei’s pants at last! Theon rescued his sister and journeyed back to Winterfell to continue his redemption arc! And, perhaps most importantly, Cersei is settled in at King’s Landing, while nearly everyone else has arrived at Winterfell — including, very soon, The Night King. Winter is no longer coming. It is very much here and all parties are dug in at just two locations at last, preparing for the ultimate battle and criss-crossing the Seven Kingdoms for so many years. Was it just us, or did Game of Thrones also seem funnier than usual? What do dragons eat? Whatever they want. The last time we spoke was at Joffrey’s wedding. A miserable affair. It had its moments. I don’t know how to ride a dragon. Nobody does, until they ride a dragon. What if he doesn’t want me to? Then I’ve enjoyed your company, Jon Snow. You left me to die. First, I robbed you. We actually laughed out loud a few times — but we don’t tune in to Game of Thrones to laugh out loud. We tune in for bloodshed! And surprises! And broken alliances! And nudity! And… okay, the scene with Bronn gave us a bit of the latter. But most intriguing quote from the premiere was this, courtesy of Sam’s exchange with Jon: You gave up your crown to save your people. NBC News reports that Orlando Moore and his girlfriend, Portia Ravenelle, never returned from their Caribbean vacation on March 27. There’s also a car that was found in the Caribbean Sea that was rented to the couple, they add. A man’s body in “advanced stages of decomposition” was found in the car and recovered on March 31. Local fishermen told police they found a woman in serious condition. That woman was hospitalized but died on April 4. I obviously love it here, and like I said, this was extremely difficult. Last season, I did ‘The Conners’ as you know, and was also producing and here, and I loved it and felt totally empowered, but also If I’m being honest about it, I think my life was slightly out of balance, and I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my three kids as I’d like, or time for myself. And as I’ve continued on I’m starting to develop more things to produce and I’m having opportunities to act, and I’m just feeling like I don’t know how I’m going to do it all. I was looking at the next six months and just thinking there’s no time. And I’ll look at even small things in my life, my youngest is four years old, and I still haven’t made his baby book. You know, you sit , and you think ‘oh my God,’ my daughter is looking at hers last night and I was like ‘Ahh, he’s going to figure it out soon.’ Just basic life things, but it’s difficult because this is a place I love and a place that I’m extremely happy. I love the hosts; I love the crew; I love our staff. I’m so grateful to the audience for letting me in your homes every day. It’s been such an honor, and I’m not going anywhere yet, I’ll be here the rest of the season. I will come back. I will guest co-host. You’re not going to get rid of me, so I’ll be around be around. Guilt is a common go-to emotion for moms, but it shouldn’t be! Moms deserve a break too, it’s just science — quality alone time every now and then is essential to a happy and healthy life! But as for Audrey Roloff, well she is experiencing some intense mom guilt ( again! ) due to her recent book tour. The Little People, Big World star took to Instagram on Monday admitting that her recent travels to promote the launch of her new book, A Love Letter Life , left her missing daughter Ember. And even led to her experiencing a serious case of “mom guilt,” according to Pop Culture . Audrey, who shares one-year-old Ember with husband Jeremy Roloff, left on her week-long tour last week. “Finally home with Ember girl. She had so much fun with Gigi and Papa but we missed her like crazy,” Roloff captioned the sweet photo of her and her daughter together at last. “I’ll be honest… I felt the mom guilt start to creep in at times while we were gone,” she admitted to her fans. But luckily a good friend of the Always More creator reached out and offered some kind advice to the worried mom. “She said, ‘when we leave our children for small stretches of time with people that love them so well, it teaches them that they are safe and loved even when mommy and daddy are not around,'” Audrey recalls. Those words completely changed Audrey’s perspective and she began to see the time apart as a gift to Ember, saying, she will “eventually blaze her own trail in this world without me.” “It is just another reminder to me that I am NOT in control, and that God’s past faithfulness demands my present trust,” she concluded. But she is still beyond excited to be back in Oregan. “All this to say… there really is no place like home.” Although she was initially experiencing some regret over her short trip, many of Roloff’s followers naturally offered their love and voice of support. “Definitely an amazing perspective most parents need to hear. What a wonderful reminder,” one fan wrote. Another acknowledged that leaving a child “has been my hardest thing of all as a mama, but precious women have spoken this over me over and over again! Praises for that!” Writer Danielle Walker even chimed in saying, “Coming home to them is so sweet too.” Prior to leaving for her latest tour, Roloff confessed that she “broke down” before having to leave and that she had been trying to “get a little extra cuddle time in.” (aww) But now, we are all cheering as the adorable mother-daughter duo is finally reunited once again. Beth Chapman has been hospitalized in Hawaii. The wife of Dog “the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, who is a veteran of reality television herself, reportedly has trouble breathing, according to Us Weekly. This tabloid broke the troubling story and quoted an insider who says of Chapman: “Beth Chapman has been rushed to a Hawaii hospital with serious breathing issues. She hasn’t been feeling well of late and Dog is by her side. One thing everyone knows about Beth is that she’s a fighter.” That’s for certain. Anyone who has followed Beth over the past couple years is well aware of her grit and determination. The 51-year old underwent emergency surgery on her throat on November 27, 2018 after discovering the devastating news that her cancer had returned after she had seemingly overcome the illness. Since that time, she had been receiving chemotherapy treatments in Los Angeles, keeping fans and social media followers apprised of her journey throughout. In an emotional interview with DailyMailTV just over a week ago, Duane explained how the love of his life is preparing to die . She has every intention of making the most of every single second she has remaining. “She has told me repeatedly that if these are her last days on earth she wants to spend every moment with me,” he said in late March. Duane went on to say that Beth wants to spend her time “living life to the fullest, enjoying the time we have left together.” What an admirable attitude, right? Beth was first diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. It returned last fall, with Beth confirming the sad development as follows; “After months of a nagging cough, a routine checkup resulted in a diagnosis of stage II throat cancer I have what is referred to as a T2 Tumor in my throat that is blocking my breathing. “My doctors are suggesting immediate treatment and surgery before the disease progresses.” Earlier this week, Dog posted a photo of his wife decked out in black and sitting in a car as she poked out her tongue for the camera. “Property of DOG,” he captioned the cheeky Instagram snapshot. Here’s a look at that recent image: Back in December, Dog also spoke to Us Weekly about his wife, her diagnosis and the future as he saw it. Or hoped to see it, at least. “I don’t listen to the bad news. I don’t want to hear it. … I pray a lot, anywhere. I cry all the time,” he said, concluding back then: “I’m a sinner. I pray a lot. I have done double that. I constantly ask God to heal my honey and make sure He takes care of it. I’ve been telling Him that I’m going to try and quit smoking and cursing. “I’m a dealmaker, and I’ll do anything.” Heartbreaking stuff.
