Kate Gosselin has broken her silence. Just not on the topic we all want her to talk about. On Tuesday afternoon, the frequent reality star actually sat on a stage to promote her latest program, appearing at the 2019 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena. She was accompanied for the panel discussion by 18-year old twin daughters Mady and Cara. The polarizing parent, as you can see above and below, rocked her signature long blonde locks and donned a form-fitting gray sweater dress with nude heels. Cara, meanwhille, sat to the right of her mother and had glasses on, along with caramel highlights and a long-sleeve floral dress. As for Mady? She went with a pink zipper dress that she teamed with white ankle boots. The trio was on hand to talk about Kate Plus Date, an actual dating show that will actually air later this year on TLC. It will chronicle Kate’s life as a single parent, tracking the dates she goes on with a handful of very unfortunate suitors. Both Mady and Cara will be featured on the series as well. “We’ve been nudging her to date for years,” Mady told the press members gathered. “She deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves to be happy.” The show will premiere in June. “I knew what I wasn’t looking for, but I couldn’t articulate what I was looking for,” Gosselin explained of her mindset and outlook, adding of her love life: “They were strictly blind dates, but I didn’t even know, really, their names, until minutes before. A lot of the awkwardness, uncomfortable terrified reactions came from the fact that they were hit or miss. “It’s a very difficult concept, and this is a very real show in that I am really looking for someone.” Kate has been in the news of late for reasons beyond her search for love, however. Over the past several months, ex-husband Jon Gosselin has trash talked Kate in various interview, while spending a ton of time with daughter Hannah and son Collin. But it’s been more than mere time is the thing. Jon has actually been granted temporary custody of Collin , who was rarely seen over the past two years after he was sent away for a school for kids with special needs. Jon was granted this custody by a judge after Kate no-showed a hearing in December. “That’s her,” Jon said in response to Kate not even appearing in the courtroom. “I would never… I would always go to court, no matter what.” Hannah, meanwhile, has been living with her dad for about a year now. As surprised as folks have been to see Jon acting as a responsible father, they’ve been equally stunned by Kate’s silence throughout this ordeal. She has scarcely posted anything on social media and scarcely made any comments in public at all about the awkward custody situation. According to Jon, his ex never, EVER sees Collin . In front of television critics this week, though, Kate wasn’t about to touch this topic. She only wanted to go into detail about a show that one sane-minded person should ever tune in for. “It was important for me that my kids could watch the show and not feel cringe-y or uncomfortable,” she said of why there is no making out or fondling or anything on Kate Plus Date. “I’m not a teenager, clearly. There’s no other mom dating show out there; I have five daughters and three sons, and they need to be able to watch a respectful … “G-rated show. And it’s important for me to be an example to my kids.” Jon might disagree, however. Mady and Cara are 18 years old and can make their own choice to play a role on the program. But Jon said in December that Kate wanted to exploit ALL of her children for the show, including her 14-year old sextuplets as well. “I didn’t sign their work permits,” Jon said. “That’s why they can’t film. They came to me and I was like, ‘No, I’m not signing that.'”

It’s the highest level of chronic kidney disease that affects the organs’ ability to purify the body’s blood. Free entered hemodialysis to keep his kidneys functioning and now he’s been given the green light to attain a new kidney. In a statement issued to The Source , Freeway’s management team confirmed that his surgery was a success. “He is now in recovery,” the statement reads. “He thanks you all for your prayers!!!” On Freeway’s end, he posted a video to his Instagram account of him prepping for surgery at the hospital. “I’m going under now!” he wrote. “Thanks for all the love & support! Pray for me!!” Since his diagnosis, Free has been devoted to organizations dedicated to assisting those with conditions like his. He’s partnered with the National Kidney Foundation and the American Kidney Fund. In 2016, the National Kidney Foundation reported that African American make up over 35 percent of people who use dialysis to treat kidney failure. Health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure are also contributors to kidney failure. According to Deadline , the televised game scored a 44.9/68 in metered market results. Although this is still a huge audience, the rating is the lowest for a Super Bowl since 2009 and it’s down about five percent from the 2018 game. On top of this, last night’s game was one of the lowest scoring Super Bowls ever with the New England Patriots beating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. But probably the biggest let down of the night was Maroon 5 ‘s significantly dry halftime show performance. Now don’t get me wrong… Maroon 5 definitely has some bops. “This Love” alone is one of those songs that’ll sneak up on you in a random department store and will have you singing along like it’s 2004. But having a couple of tunes that hit is different from putting on an engaging, dynamic, awe-inspiring performance. Now on one hand, we won’t fault Maroon 5 or anyone coming after them since they’re coming after epic performances like Beyonce ‘s Super Bowl XLVII shutdown. But on the other hand, when the most engaging thing about your performances is your Bed Bath & Beyond shirt, we have an issue. As previously reported, the veteran Young and the Restless star, who had been with the series since 1991, was found unconscious inside his California home on Sunday. A friend discovered his body and called the paramedics, but St. John was already gone when they arrived. At 52 years old, he was pronounced dead at the scene. In the hours since this awful news went public, the Los Angeles County Coroner has said the cause of death has been deferred for the time being until an “additional investigation” is complete. Yes, an autopsy has been performed. But E! News has bee told that the results are inconclusive; they do not shed much light on St. John’s final minutes or hours. According to TMZ, which broke this awful news, no foul play is suspsected. The police are allegedly considering alcohol overuse as a cause of St. John’s death, but we want to emphasize that this has not yet been proven or confirmed. At the time of his passing, the actor was engaged to Kseniya Mikhaleva (pictured below), who he proposed to in August of last year. She has expressed her shock and sorrow in multiple social media posts today. “How did it happen ??? How ??? Why did you leave so early ???? and left me alone ….. I can’t believe,” she wrote on Instagram on Monday. “You were everything to me …. you were a loving father, a loving man,…..how love??we should doing a lot of things in future……” St. John was also the father to a son named Julian, who killed himself in 2014 at the age of 24 while under the care of a mental health facility. The soap opera star and his then-wife sued the facility shortly afterward for neglience, eventually settling the matter out of court. However, sources have said that St. John never really recoverd from this unimaginable tragedy; in fact, his final Tweet (written on January 21) was to pass along a quote about the loss of one’s child. The star is survived by his two daughters, Paris and Lola. In a statement released by attorney Marg Geragos, the St. John family said: “Few men had the unique strength, courage & sensitivity that @kristoffstjohn1 lived every single minute of every day.
