The “Jeopardy” host took to social media to tell the world that he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. “Just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer,” said Trebek, 78. “Now, normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working, ” he added. “And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rates statistics for this disease.” He also humorously added that he HAS to beat the disease because he’s got another 3 years in his Jeopardy contract. Call the girls, Sammi “The Sweetheart” Giancola is going to be a bride! The 31-year-old former MTV star announced on Tuesday that she is engaged to Christian Biscardi . After Sammi shared a picture of her longtime boyfriend down on one knee, her Jersey Shore co-stars were quick to congratulate her on the news . “I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness,” she captioned the photo. “Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend, and soulmate. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you!” She also added engagement ring emojis and hashtagged fiance and Mrs. Biscardi. Her new (obviously) tan and well-built fiance also shared the pic to the Gram along with the caption, “I am beyond excited to get to marry my best friend!” “Here’s to the future Mr. & Mrs. Biscardi.” He also joked on Sammi’s comment section, writing, “I love you and I’m equally thrilled that no one is going to tell me to put a ring on it 76,000 times a day!” Oops, my bad. Sammi and Christian have been together for a little more than two years, which gave fans plenty of time to get over her most notable relationship with on-and-off again co-star Ronnie Oritz-Magro. Which as most everyone knows, did not end well. Sammi was the only original Jersey Shore cast member who decided to skip out on the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reunion show. At the time, she admitted she was focusing on her “business and relationship” instead and that she also wanted to “avoid potentially toxic situations.” AKA Ron. And although she stayed at home while her fellow co-stars were living it up in Miami Beach, she still remains very close to (some of) her MTV family. Most of whom were ecstatic for her engagement news! “OMG I’M SCREAMING SAMANTHA I LOVE YOU!” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote on her Instagram post. She added, “You deserve the world and I love him!” Jennie “Jwoww” Farley, who is currently going through a nasty divorce from husband Roger Mathews , even expressed her excitement saying, “omg! omg omg I’m so freaking happy for you!” “FINALLY!” Angelina Pivarnick commented. “Congrats love!” adding a series of lips and raising hand emojis. DJ Pauly D even simply wrote, “Congrats Sam!!!” But to none of our surprise, Ronnie’s name did not appear in the comment section of the post. Although he’s been in a recent, sometimes violent, relationship with his baby mama, Jen Harley, many Jersey Shore fans have accused Ronnie of still having feelings for Sam. And after the engagement news broke, fans worried about how Ron, who is newly sober, would take it. “Welp… There goes Ronnie off the deep end. But seriously… Congrats to a healthy relationship,” a fan wrote on Twitter according to Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Another user commented saying, “Yay! Congrats. You needed someone who loves you for you. And who doesn’t bring drama to your life, and who treats you right… sorry Ron.” But I like to give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt since he has put in somewhat of an effort to change his life around, and I’m sure he is in some way happy for Sammi. Well, we can only hope. We also can’t forget about Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who I’m sure would have shared his love if he wasn’t well, stuck behind bars. Sam and Christian have yet to reveal when or where they plan to wed, though it probably won’t be televised considering she now prefers life out of the spotlight. According to a TMZ report, Cactus Jack deleted his Instagram page to “prove his loyalty” to his baby’s momma Kylie Jenner. Word is that Kylie saw some “overly friendly” messages in Travis’ DMs and that’s what started the nuclear fight between the two unlikely lovers. Travis allegedly was chatting up some women in a way that Kylie felt was suspect AF. For his part, Travis said the messages were nothing more than low-fat, low-calorie, sugar-free flirting and he never acting on the obvious opening to pursue some new box. However, in order to keep his home happy, Travis deleted his Instagram page. Behind the scenes, Travis is reportedly begging for forgiveness and trying his damnedest to save his love life. We’re sure Travis will be back to double-tapping soon as he and Kylie kiss and make up.

A source close to the former NBA player told Us Weekly , “Lamar has always cared about Khloé, he still has love for her and he hates that she’s been hurt again. He has a lot of regret over how he acted in their marriage. And he feels awful that she is going through more pain. He wants to reach out to her and give her his love and support.” Lamar pretty much had the same sentiments when Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe the first time, back in April 2018, but he never reached out to her. He even boasted about his ex-wife’s parenting skills when she gave birth to her and Thompson’s daughter, True, last year. Something tells us that Lam will definitely be checking up on Khloe this time.
Brody Stevens, a stand-up comedian and actor best known to many for his role in The Hangover, was found dead on Friday of an apparent suicide. He was 48 years old. Reads a statement from Brody’s rep, released shortly after this sad piece of news was made public: “Brody was an inspiring voice who was a friend to many in the comedy community. He pushed creative boundaries and his passion for his work and his love of baseball were contagious. “He was beloved by many and will be greatly missed. “We respectfully ask for privacy at this time.” Stevens reportedly took his own life via hanging. Over the years, Stevens had been very candid regarding his struggles with depression and anxiety. On his Comedy Central show, Brody Stevens: Enjoy It , the writer and his friends often talked about his mental state and the challenges he overcame both prior to making it big and even as he grew more and more famous. In one clip, Zach Galifianakis said the following: “Brody was really in a dark place… I think he thought that was how his life was going to be and I think that got him depressed.” According to The Blast sources, Los Angeles Police Department officers were dispatched to the Brody’s home around 1 p.m. on Friday. This website has obtained audio from the emergency dispatchers, where officials described the scene as a “hanging.” That said, no official cause of death has been announced just yet. Stevens appeared as Officer Foltz in the 2009 comedy The Hangover. He was also in The Hangover Part II as Kingsley Guy, which was his last feature-length film role. The star had also stopped by talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, while serving as regular panelist on Chelsea Lately. In 2015, he appeared in the short films Near Fall and Alone Together. Following Brody’s reported suicide, those who knew him well took to social media in order to express their shock and sorrow. Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty Emotions are high following reports from the Chicago Police Department that Jussie Smollett staged his January 28 attack. Reactions from political commentators, social media users, and celebrities close to Smollett have opened up conversations about hate crimes, the trustworthiness of police and the power of the media. As we reported earlier and according to Jussie’s interview with Good Morning America last week, the Empire star says he was picking up food from Subway one night when someone called him a racist and homophobic slur. Jussie was then allegedly attacked by two masked men who poured an unknown substance on him and put a noose around his neck. The alleged incident sparked social media outrage and at first, the CPD reported that they were treating Smollett like a victim. But now, according to ABC7 , police are saying Smollett paid two Nigerian brothers $3,500 to stage his attack. The 36-year-old is now being charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report. Jussie turned himself in to authorities on Thursday and if convicted, he can face up to three years in prison and substantial fines. In a press conference, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said Smollett staged the incident because he was “dissatisfied with his salary.” Jussie allegedly staged his attack with the Osundairo brothers — one of them was Smollett’s personal trainer while the other one was an extra on Empire. S urveillance footage shows the brothers purchasing the ski masks allegedly used in the attack, and it also shows them buying a red ball cap and gloves. Even before the alleged attack, police claim Jussie faked a letter he received on the Chicago set of Empire that included racist and homophobic statements. The letter, which was sent on January 22, is currently in the FBI crime lab for analysis. According to an ABC7 legal analyst, Jussie could also face charges for the letter if it’s proven to be a hoax, and he could possibly serve up to five years in prison. All this updated information has caused a roller coaster of emotions from people. 20th Century Fox and Fox Entertainment released a statement Thursday morning reading: “We understand the seriousness of this matter and we respect the legal process. According to ABC7 , only a reported 17 percent of murders were solved in 2017 alone. Even some of Jussie’s celebrity friends are continuing to keep him in their prayers. Tyler Perry spoke on Jussie’s situation on Facebook and used the disappearance of Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos as an intro: “How I wish that the disappearance of Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos could get half as much attention as this Jussie Smollett thing. I have personally spoken to Jussie, and he is adamant that he’s telling the truth. Also, everyone that I know who knows him says that he is not the kind of person who would make up such a horrible and awful thing. Yet the evidence seems to state otherwise. I’m lost for words. To stoke fears and raise racial tensions is wrong in every situation on ALL SIDES! Yet my prayers are still with him and his family and our Nation. CAN WE PLEASE STOP THE HATE!” Sides will surely continue to be taken. But Jussie’s defense urges people to acknowledge due process before coming to any conclusions. In a statement, Smollett’s lawyer wrote: “Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked. Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount an aggressive defense.” The saga continues.
Farrah Abraham isn't, like, a good person or anything. It's pretty much what she's built her entire empire on. Lots of girls become teen mothers, and sure, only a very small handful got their own reallity show on MTV. But Farrah made herself memorable, even out of that small group, by being rude and obnoxious and awful. She's no longer on Teen Mom OG, of course, but she's still out in the world, doing her thing and showing no emotional growth whatsoever. And that last part, the part about no emotional growth? That's why she could be going to jail very, very soon. 1. LOCK HER UP As you may remember, Farrah got arrested last summer after causing quite the scene at a hotel in Beverly Hills. 2. Setting the Scene She and her daughter, Sophia, were staying at the hotel, and while Sophia was sleeping in their room upstairs, Farrah thought it would be a good idea to hang out in the lounge and cause a scene. 3. Makes Sense She got into an argument with other hotel guests — several witnesses said that she seemed very intoxicated — and when a security guard came to handle the situation, she assaulted him. 4. Girl, Stop She hit his face with her forearm, and then she grabbed his head in her hands and shook it, which, you know … you can’t do that. 5. Ugh And then when police responded to arrest her, because of the assault, she threw out some “go f-ck yourselves” and “don’t you know who I am?!” nonsense. And, again, you can’t do that. 6. Good Riddance So she spent the night in jail, and wasn’t released until the next afternoon. But that was just the beginning of this saga. View Slideshow

The singer took to Instagram to express her love for new husband Liam Hemsworth. And there’s a lot of love. In honor of their first Valentine’s Day together, the singer shared several never-before-seen photos to her social media accounts on Thursday from her and Hemsworth’s wedding. Which was an intimate and secret ceremony that was held at Cyrus’ home in Tennessee on December 23, 2018. “My Valentine every single day,” she captioned the first image, which shows Liam with his eyes closed and her with her mouth wide open. Typical. In another, Cyrus thanked her 6 foot 3 husband for “always bending down” to hug her. She then promised to always meet him “in the middle” on her “tippiest toes.” “I love you Valentine!” She wrote. And while we love getting a glimpse at their adorable faces, we want more!! And she provided. Sharing an enchanting photo of their simple wedding cake, which Hemsworth can be seen smiling behind. The next three photos were solo shots of Miley in her striking off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood wedding gown. Two of the photos also showed off her delicate wedding bouquet which consisted of white and pale-colored flowers. But before the singer released the photos from her special day, she shared something else that offered, well a little less taste. The 26-year-old shared an extremely cheeky snapshot to Twitter and her Instagram story from her Bangerz tour , which showed her legs raised in the air as she wore a high-cut bodysuit. To which she captioned “When it’s valentine’s day and bae says hi.” Don’t worry, she tagged Liam’s Instagram so he knew he was the intended recipient of the strange Valentine and writing, “Love you.” Over the weekend the Australian actor was briefly hospitalized for kidney stones and had to miss his Isn’t it Romantic premiere. Miley attended the film’s event for her beau, even posing for photos on the red carpet alone and with Rebel Wilson. A source told People on Tuesday that although Liam was hospitalized, “he was at home resting and will be fine.” In another Instagram post, Miley left a flirty message for Hemsworth while posing in front of a photo featuring him playing a saxophone. Which is something he does at the end of the rom-com satire. “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you,” she wrote. “Play that sax you sexy f -.” which followed with heart and kissing emojis. Liam issued a statement on his Instagram account after the premiere, as well, where he apologized for missing the event . He also gave a shout-out to his wife. “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days,” explained the actor. “Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe!” Hemsworth added. “I hope everyone enjoys the movie!
