Weird Al Yankovic is back with his latest music video parody, and it lives up to his high standards. “Tacky” is a parody of (you guessed it) Pharrell’s “Happy.” The master lyricist, accordion player and satirist dropped the star-studded video – the first of his #8videos8days project – earlier today on Nerdist. Check out the official “Tacky” video and watch for guest appearances from Aisha Tyler, Margaret Cho, Eric Stonestreet, Kristen Schaal and Jack Black: Weird Al – Tacky “We’re going to have some fun today!” Al told the site before the video was filmed. “Thank you, Pharrell; I really appreciate it – you’re a cool guy.” Weird Al does not need permission to spoof these hit songs in his unique style; since they’re parodies, his rights to do so are legally protected. He always gets it anyway, though, so there’s no bad blood and the original artist approves. Knowing Pharrell signed off on this makes it even better. Three minutes of wonderful clashing colors, socks-and-sandals, fanny packs and bad dance moves make for a hilariously tasteless feast for the eyes. Add in his lyrics and you’ve got comedic gold. Rumors that Jay Z cheated on Beyonce have been circulating for months now, with no official response from either half of the power couple. However, it now seems Queen Bey may have finally addressed the allegations during a recent concert. Beyonce: “Resentment” That’s Bey performing during a stop on her and Jay’s On the Run tour . She’s singing an as-yet-unreleased song entitled “Resentment” that tells the tale of a woman who’s been cheated on. Observant fans noticed that Bey changed the lyrics at certain points, possibly to more accurately reflect her own situation: At the 2:27 mark in the above video, a line that originally read, “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good/Like I couldn’t do it for you like your mistress could,” has been changed to: “I’ll always remember feeling like I was no good/Like I couldn’t do it for you like that wack bitch could.” Okay, so artists improvise and change lyrics to songs during live performances all the time. But it’s the changes that Bey made at the 3:25 mark that are really raising questions: The lines: “Been riding with you for six years…I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me,” have been changed to: “Been riding with you for 12 years…I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me. Catelynn and Tyler slammed Abraham right back, and now other Teen Mom stars are weighing in on the brouhaha, clearly on the side of Team Cate. “Wow, I’m with Catelynn & Tyler!” said the very pregnant Jenelle Evans, 22, who added on Twitter that Abraham’s diss was “COMPLETELY uncalled for.” “She just wants to stay relevant,” she added. Besides Jenelle Evans , Leah Messer, 22, retweeted Lowell’s original response to Abraham, supporting the allegedly expectant adoption advocate. “Huh bad choices?!? Hahaha I didn’t make a so called ‘sex tape’ but WE make the bad choices?” Lowell tweeted, and Leah shared with her followers. Farrah Abraham’s response to the backlash? “Personally, I’m BLOWIN them away,” she recently told Radar , name-checking her new song. “I felt compassionate about getting the negativity out of my own life.” That doesn’t even make sense, but then again, neither does pretty much anything that escapes Farrah’s artificially enhanced, compulsively lying lips.
