There are multiple ways to handle rumors of homosexuality if you’re an actor. You can laugh them off and practically encourage them; aka The George Clooney Treatment . Or you can blow your effin top that anyone brings up that effin rumor because it isn’t effin true! Right, Jeremy Renner? “I want my personal life to be personal, and it’s not f-cking true,” Renner tells the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter , regarding talk of his sexuality. “And I don’t care if you’re talking about things that are true, you’re still talking about my personal life. How about I go peek in your window, take what underwear you wore last night, whose husband you were f-cking, and shove that in the megaphone throughout your neighborhood? How does that feel?” Ummm… bad? It would probably feel very, very bad. Renner, of course, will bring this intensity to a rebooted movie franchise this summer. He’s taking over for Matt Damon in The Bourne Legacy .

Mary J. Blige Burger King Commercial: Pulled… Racist?

Burger King is no longer in the fast food business with Mary J. Blige. The chain has pulled a controversial ad from the airwaves, citing a music licensing issue, but causing many to wonder if it gave in to pressure from critics who believe the spot is an insult to African-Americans. Blige Burger King Commercial In response to Blige standing atop a counter and singing about “crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, three cheeses, ranch dressing wrapped up in a tasty, flour tortilla,” lifestyle publication Madame Noire has written an open letter to the Grammy winner that reads: “Having a black woman sing about chicken was no mistake. They’re trying to reach the ‘urban’ (aka black) demographic and they used you. Because God knows black folk won’t buy anything unless there’s a song, and preferably a dance, attached to it.” Salma Hayek, Jay Leno and David Beckham have also been hired to pitch this new product and Burger King claims the commercial will air again once the licensing issue is solved.
