I know, I thought American Idol was over too, but apparently they pumped new life into it by bring every Latinos favorite popstar to the frontlines as a judge, since everything she touches turns to gold, for some unexplained reason. She was wearing a onsie, a piece of clothing that normally gets me excited because it touches anus, vagina and nipples at the same time, that just irritates me when it’s on this 40 year old has been who never shoulda been con artist who is too rich for her own good and who really should just disappear…but instead is gonna be on TV twice a week…until American Idol finally dies the horrible death it deserves…

From the show’s various performers to mere spectators out in the crowd, just about everybody has had something to say about this year’s event. The first big surprise of the show occurred when Rihanna unexpectedly arrived to sing “Love the Way You Lie” opposite Eminem. The R&B artist wasn’t expected to appear at the VMAs, but Rihanna stormed the stage nonetheless, later explaining to her fans on Twitter : “SURPRISE!!! Just had to do it guys.” Rihanna’s performance alongside Slim Shady was considered one of the highlights of the night, especially for Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams. “The best thing was seeing Eminem live,” she wrote , “and being only a few feet away from Gaga.” Indeed, it was hard not to notice Lady G, what with her eight VMA victories and her now-infamous meat dress . Legendary singer and actress Cher got an up-close glimpse at Gaga’s controversial wardrobe, describing it as “interesting” and “amazing.” “The way it was cut and fitted to her body was amazing! Rihanna ‘Jetted In’ For Eminem VMA Performance

By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Rihanna after her VMA performance with Eminem at the 2010 VMAs Photo: MTV News It was the surprise of the night when Rihanna decked out in an outfit reminiscent of Madonna’s 1984 “Like a Virgin” VMA performance, graced the VMA stage on Sunday to lend her vocals to Eminem’s show-stopping performance . After performing “Not Afraid,” Em segued into his collabo with Rihanna, “Love the Way You Lie.” It was especially surprising to see Rihanna on the stage since she had not planned to be at the show due to a prior commitment. She was filming “Battleship” in Hawaii, but as luck would have it, she got a day off and was able to make the show, much to Em’s pleasure. “It really killed me that I couldn’t be here and actually, luckily, I got the day off and Eminem called me the day before and said, ‘Please, I’m having a really hard time doing this without you. We had a really great song,’ ” she recalled. “And I just was like, ‘Oh damn!’ It killed me, and then they allowed us to leave and do it, and we jetted in and we’re gonna jet right back out.” And as quickly as the last-minute performance came together, Rihanna had to head back to the set to continue work on the film. But not before trying to get her VMA look just right. “This morning we had a quick rehearsal,” she said. “And I started doing my hair ’cause I’m doing the film and I don’t have any hair, any nails.” Rihanna also tweeted about the appearance, writing, “SURPRISE!!! Bieber was joined by a slew of his celebrity friends including Miley Cyrus, Ludacris, Usher, Jaden Smith and Boyz II Men for the concert, footage from which will be used in his 3-D concert movie , due out next year. After the show, his fans couldn’t help but rave about the show and how much they adore Bieber. “It was amazing! The best concert ever! We love Justin Bieber and we want him to marry us,” Bieber fan Kelly told MTV News in the moments after the show wrapped. Another fan added, “OK, so the concert was amazing. We came all the way from the Dominican Republic because we love Justin Bieber. It was all full of surprises and amazing.” Samantha agreed with her fellow Beliebers, saying, “Honestly, it was the best thing I’ve ever been to in my life.” Another fan added, “He danced, he sang, he played piano, drums, guitar, and he was just so cute!” Olivia Bernstein and her pal Sarah raved about the show’s amazing powers, noting that they got into a bit of a scuffle in order to see Biebs in concert. “Fighting with two moms tonight was for him and it was great,” she said. “It was so much fun. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. All of the surprise guests were amazing.” Speaking of those special guests, they really amped up the show’s already over-the-top energy. “Miley Cyrus came. Usher was there. Jaden Smith, Ludacris … There were so many people … it was the best show ever,” Olivia explained.
