Kaitlin Nootbaar, an Oklahoma high school valedictorian, is being denied her diploma … because she said the word HELL in her May graduation speech. She graduated from Prague High School with a 4.0 GPA, but has been told she will have to submit a written apology in order to receive her diploma. “We went to the office and asked for the diploma and the principal said, ‘Your diploma is right here but you’re not getting it,'” her dad, David, recalled. “‘Close the door, we have a problem.'”
Myla Sinanaj thinks Kim Kardashian is a cruel bitch . But the random brunette has no harsh things to say about Kris Humphries, as evidenced today when she was deposed by Kardashian’s attorney as part of that estranged’s couples ongoing divorce battle. Insiders tell TMZ that Sinanaj testified to the following under oath: She never dated Humphries. She was never pregnant with his child. She has never received any money from him. Did she ever have sex with the power forward? Myla’s lawyer reportedly told his client not to answer that question. Sinanaj also said she never considered a lawsuit against Humphries for telling the FBI she made efforts to blackmail him. Which is all well and good… except she did. Attorney Joe Tacopina drafted a 26-page defamation suit on her behalf. It also came out during the deposition that Myla no longer works at the hotel where she and Kris met earlier this year. We have no idea why not. She’s clearly a model employee and human being.
Hilary Swank and John Campisi have broken up. A rep for the Academy Award-winning actress confirms that she and her boyfriend of five years have decided to end their relationship . The pair split earlier this summer, her rep said. The actress, who has spent the majority of the summer filming Mary & Martha in South Africa and Wilmington, N.C., and Campisi began dating in 2007. Clip for second single off MDNA features Madge getting sexy with male dancers. The fashion video — shot, fittingly enough, by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus, who also did the artwork for MDNA — is fast-paced and full of quick shots of Madonna grinding, smoking, looking longingly out in the distance and being her usual sexy self while clad in chains and latex. It’s intercut with scantily clad male dancers who are seen dancing, touching and kissing one another. It seems that the only girl gone wild in this clip is Madonna. No word on when the full video will drop. “GGW” is the second single off the March 26 album release and features production by Benny Benassi; it was recorded in New York and London. While the album’s first single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” was brighter in the way that songs early in her career were, this song is more like what fans heard during her Confessions on a Dance Floor era. “I think the majority of the record is more action-packed,” Madge teased to MTV News back in January about the highly anticipated LP. “More high-energy.” The album also features production from longtime Madonna pal William Orbit , as well as Demolition Crew, Martin Solveig, Alessandro “Alle” Benassi, Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza and Michael Malih. “With William, I didn’t really have a discussion,” Madonna said of working with Orbit. “We’ve worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other’s sentences. But Megan Fox is now committed to Brian Austin Green and wants the world to know. “We’ve had obstacles, and we’ve overcome them,” Fox says in the new issue of Cosmopolitan . “I truly feel like he’s my soul mate. Ray J has come out with a new book. We’ll give you a few moments to stop laughing… Titled “Death of the Cheating Man” and co-authored with some guy named Maxwell Billieon, the tome alleges that Kim Kardashian cheated with then-husband Damon Thomas in 2004 when she started boning her future sex tape partner . “She let me know she wanted to get with me,” Ray J writes. “She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex.” Ray adds that he had “no respect” for Kim while they dated, but then makes it clear why he stuck with her anyway. “We were like animals; sexually free to try anything, and we did,” he writes. “For years KK and I had a great sex life. There was more to our relationship, but the majority of it was about our wild and extreme sexual chemistry. Brian White is married to a Latina and made a lot of sisters mad after pointing out that black women on reality TV act like a bunch of chickenheads, but now he wants to set the record straight. Good ol’ Brian hollered at Essence Magazine for a “let’s clear things up” interview. Check it out: ESSENCE.com: You’ve caught a lot of flack for your comments about how Black women, so we just have to ask, Brian White, do you hate Black women? BRIAN WHITE: No, come on. I’m Black Carpenter [the title of his book and youth development program]. I’m out making sure kids have a future. I did that interview on speakerphone and my mom was in my car with me. I said the majority of what we, as a community, celebrate in the media, isn’t worthy of our women. Not the ones that I know and love. I’ve been out on the road with the UNCF, NAACP, and National Urban League doing Black Carpenter or working with little girls and boys in schools. I’m about that, more so than anything else. I’m not trying to be famous; I’m trying to make a difference. That’s all I meant to say. I apologize for any confusion. ESSENCE.com: Why do you think the story of you hating on Black women picked up so much steam? WHITE: I don’t know. There are probably lots of reasons, but I feel like that’s what sells. In our community, it’s very difficult to sell substance. I’ll say this: anything that can be construed as negative gets a lot of play but if it’s super positive getting actual creditable media and then that extra blogger is much harder. ESSENCE.com: Speaking of substance, you were very critical of reality TV and said something like; ‘You can’t call it a stereotype if it’s the majority.’ What did you mean by that? WHITE: I’ll use my role as Randy in the movie ‘I Can Do Bad All By Myself’. People get mad and say that’s a stereotype of Black men. I’m saying guys like Randy might be a stereotype but when I go to the club on Friday, I see 150 of them grabbing sisters by the wrist going, “Yo, come over here.” That’s not how gentlemen act. We support those images because they’re a little closer to truth than we care to admit. Let’s take a character like, Madea, who is based on Tyler Perry’s aunt. She’s like 6-feet-tall and probably has a gun in her purse right now. Tyler is holding up a mirror. In traveling across the South doing plays, I met a lot of Big Mommas, like Martin Lawrence’s character. Sure, we’re exaggerating a little bit, but there’s some reality in there. ESSENCE.com: Your comments caught the ire of NeNe Leakes who said you were “jealous” of the success of reality stars. What did you think? WHITE: [NeNe] responded to the blogs. I know that they were inflammatory on purpose. I think she handled it very well. I’m not saying anything negative about NeNe the woman. I want to her succeed. I want all Black women to succeed. I just don’t want it to be at the expense, or the example set for our kids. I’m so happy for people who have success on the reality TV, but I don’t know how to tell my little sister to follow in their footsteps. ESSENCE.com: Your comments may have been taken the wrong way since you were also criticized for marrying a woman who wasn’t Black [ his wife Paula is Latina]. Do you constantly feel like you have to defend yourself? WHITE: Yes, I do. I have five younger sisters. My sister Ashley has a Caucasian husband and my sister Erin has an African husband, from Liberia. My other baby sister is a sophomore, and she’s dated every race from all over the world. And that was why I popped off about my wife. Because that’s the biggest love of my life, acting is second. It made me uncomfortable to be challenged on who I love. I thought, ‘There are 31 flavors of ice cream at Baskin Robbins, can I like one?’ Does it mean that I don’t like the others? No. It’s just confusing because I try to be positive and I think I’m about something that’s valuable, and to be slighted for love, or whatever, it’s just frustrating especially in 2012. Aw poor baby. When will the drama end? According to Radaronline reports: Music mogul Clive Davis will not be paying for Whitney Houston’s funeral which will take place in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. The news comes as a surprise, as Davis was paying the majority of Houston’s bills before the pop singer tragically died at age 48 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last Saturday. Davis has faced scrutiny from Houston’s family and Chaka Khan, amongst others, for proceeding with the pre-Grammy party at the hotel last Saturday, while Houston’s body was still in the bathroom upstairs in her room. Houston passed away on Saturday afternoon after she was found unconscious and unresponsive in her bathtub at the iconic hotel. The award winning singer was declared dead by paramedics at 3:55 p.m. PST. “Yes, Clive was paying the majority of Whitney’s bills before she died. He was even paying for her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel; she was out of money. She didn’t have anything left,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Clive won’t be paying for any part of Whitney’s funeral though. Whitney’s family will be responsible for all the costs.” “Whitney’s fortune is gone,” a source said at the time. “Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released. She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke. She called someone to ask for $100.” The funeral for Houston will be a private invitation only event, and Clive Davis will be there, along with Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown. Courtney Robertson continues to stir up drama on The Bachelor and her controversial tactics have landed her on two different tabloid covers this week. Probably her true goal all along. “Winning!” Speculation is running rampant about how long Courtney lasts ( The Bachelor spoilers we’ve posted offer more on that topic), but one thing is clear: She is the star of the show this season, for better or worse. In their new issues, Us Weekly and In Touch have tag-teamed Courtney Robertson (they’re probably not the first … winning!!!) with the following accusations: She was dating an old rich guy while on the show! There’s a secret sex tape that could RUIN her! Her attraction to Ben Flajnik is a complete lie! She’s even worse than you think! Okay, at least one of those is BS. No way could she be worse than we – and many other Bachelor fans, based on the majority comments we’ve read on THG – think. Working with Swizz Beatz can get you a hit record and a lawsuit. The New York Post reports that the record labels of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West and will.i.am, amongst others, were not pleased when they learned the participated in a video promo for Megaupload. Apparently it was Swizz, who is listed as Megaupload’s CEO, who convinced the aforementioned artists, including his wife Alicia Keys, to participate in the clip promoting the file storign and sharing service. However, since sites like Megaupload make trading pirated music easy, they have drawn the scorn of the recording industry. Although Megaupload contends the majority of their users use their service legitimately, the Universal Music Group immediately demanded the video (see below) be taken down, citing that its artists performed without permission.
