Kate Upton strikes a smoldering pose for Skullcandy headphones in this new ad campaign. Not that anyone will be paying the least bit of attention to headphones in the video, but whatever, at least the Skullcandy folks got to see her in person. Check it out below and kiss your productivity at work goodbye:
It’s terribly sad but true: Charlie Sheen really is winning. The actor has reason to celebrate today (hooker and cocaine-free, we hope) because FX has picked up his Anger Management sitcom for 90 additional episodes. Yes, 90 . The network was forced to complete the order after making an unusual agreement with Sheen and the series: if it performed well enough, FX wouldn’t just order a second season comprised of 10 installments. No, it would go all out and guarantee 90 more, which takes the total number to 100 and, in all likelihood, the series in to syndication. Which could net Sheen $100 million in all. Why make such a deal with such a trouble star? Who the heck knows. But might have something to do with money. Let’s hope Sheen continues to use his for a good cause .
There was a lot of hype that fizzled fast on August 20th. Ciara’s new single , ‘Sorry’, was set to drop…and we’re still waiting to hear it. The artist and her management haven’t made any announcements on the where’s or why’s of it all, but she was nice enough to subliminally apologize on Instagram the other day. She could’ve made it clear that she was releasing the song’s cover on 8/20 and not the song…but what fun would that have been? She’s got everyone’s attention now. Whatever the reason for the delay, ‘Sorry’ better be damn good at this point. Images via Twitter Continue reading →
She may be putting on a Poker Face at the moment, but Lady Gaga must be in a foul mood today after MGA Entertainment slapped the singer with a $10 million lawsuit because the manufacturer alleges she and her management company backed out of a deal between the two sides. MGA claims Gaga acted in “bad faith” after initially agreeing to include a voice chip with the doll and have it ready for sale by Christmas. Now, the company believes, Gaga is attempting to delay the item’s release to coincide with her new album in 2013. In its Manhattan Supreme Court suit, MGA asserts that Gaga and her team “engaged in intentional and deliberate delays” to prevent it from meeting its summer deadline with distributors. Lady Gaga has not seen the court documents, her spokesperson tells The New York Daily News , but is “confident she will prevail.”
Charlie Sheen has made it the tiniest bit harder to hate him now. The actor announced today that he will donate 1% of his profits from Anger Management – which is off to a solid start on FX – to the USO, guaranteeing that military organization at least $1 million and leaving the final donation figure uncapped. It’s a record donation from one individual. “The USO would like to thank Charlie Sheen for his very generous $1 million donation to our Operation Enduring Care Campaign and his interest in helping us lift the spirits of those who have endured so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy daily,” said General John I. Pray, Jr., Executive Vice President and Joint Chief of Staff, U.S. Air Force.
Making good on a promise he made not even 48 hours ago, Charlie Sheen has officially quit Twitter, leaving his 7.7 million followers emotionally reeling. Fortunately, he departed with one final, inspiring Tweet: “reach for the stars everyone. dogspeed cadre. c out.” Sheen signed onto Twitter fairly recently in March 2011, after he was fired from Two and a Half Men and began lambasting his former bosses online. He has been a regular tweeter ever since, offering sage-like pearls of wisdom to the general public and plugging his new show Anger Management . It’s unclear why he decided to close up Twitter shop now, but the 47-year-old actor reportedly felt like he’s “not getting anything out of it” anymore. Sheen told TMZ today, “Thank you all for your amazing support. Trust me when I say please ‘follow’ me to my next endeavor. It’s gonna be epic.” As long as it’s not judging American Idol , we have no doubt. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]

It was an unofficial and unexpected passing of the ‘Anger Management’ torch between Sheen and Sandler backstage with MTV News. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlie Sheen and Adam Sandler backstage at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Photo: MTV News UNIVERSAL CITY, California — All manner of Golden Popcorn trophies were passed around on the stage of the Gibson Amphitheatre at the MTV Movie Awards this year, but there were plenty of wins to be found behind the scene as well — such as the one between comedy titans Adam Sandler and Charlie Sheen. MTV News’ Josh Horowitz spoke with Sandler, Andy Samberg and Leighton Meester backstage at the Movie Awards and asked them all about their upcoming comedy “That’s My Boy.” The hard-R-rated comedy has been a hot topic in our circle all week long (we hosted an exclusive premiere of “That’s My Boy” during Sneak Peek Week, you’ll recall), and this was one of our first opportunities to speak with Sandler about the flick — but the Happy Madison founder left it to his younger co-star Samberg to summarize what fans can expect from the film. “Do you like raucous rock-and-roll humor that makes you whizz your pants with laughter? Then maybe you should see this movie,” the former “SNL” star advised. Speaking of raucous rock-and-roll humor, the “That’s My Boy” interview reached an abrupt conclusion when party boy Charlie Sheen , on hand to bestow Instant Cult Classic status upon found-footage party movie “Project X,” unexpectedly showed up to meet and greet his old friend, Sandler. “Charlie!” Sandler happily reacted. “Me and Charlie, baby! Good to see you!” Sheen, subdued but pleased, embraced his old pal and kept chatting with him as he passed by. “I gotta go get assigned to my seat, man,” he said. “Are you here all night?” While the two were speaking, Samberg couldn’t help but observe a secret connection between the reunited actors: Sheen is starring in an adaptation of “Anger Management,” Sandler’s 2003 comedy of the same name. “This is as exclusive as it gets, you guys,” Samberg laughed at the camera. ” ‘Anger Management’ franchise much?” When Sandler returned to the “That’s My Boy” interview, he laughingly brushed off the jabs Samberg was sending his way. “Charlie and I were hanging,” he grinned. “What do you need from me? That’s an old friend! We’re old friends, man! You’re new friends!” “Un-be- ree -vable,” Samberg said with feigned disappointment. Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore.
