SMH… Dozens Injured At Tony Robbins Seminar Dozens of people were injured this week after attempting a hot coal walk at a self help seminar. Tony Robbins famous for his “Unleash the Power” books, recently held an event in Texas that ended with minor injuries for some and hospitalization for at least five. CBS Local reports: Dozens of people were burned Thursday night after walking over hot coals at a Tony Robbins motivational seminar in Dallas, and at least five of those hurt had to be hospitalized, officials said. Ambulances were lined up outside the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center just after 11 p.m. Those who were more seriously injured were taken to the Parkland Hospital Burn Center. Members of Dallas Fire-Rescue also asked that a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus be used as a staging-area for between 30 and 40 people who were less seriously hurt. Robbins isn’t speaking publicly about what might have gone wrong, but his organization, Robbins Research International, issued a statement that said, in part: “In Dallas tonight, someone not familiar with the fire walk observed the event and called 911 erroneously reporting hundreds of people requiring medical attention for severe burns. While we are grateful to the quick and robust response from Dallas emergency services, only 5 of 7,000 participants requested any examination beyond what was readily available on site. We are pleased to have completed another successful fire walk for 7,000 guests and look forward to the remainder of an outstanding weekend with them.” People who have participated in previous fire walks at Tony Robbins events say it isn’t unusual for there to be some injuries. “ From a numbers perspective that amount is negligible,” said fire walk participant Tish Bazil. “I don’t mean to diminish anything that’s happened to anybody, but there are some coaching techniques, really specific strategies, that he gives people.” Would YOU attempt a coal walk with Tony Robbins??? What the hell is this “good boy” talking about? SMMFH!!! NBA legend Charles Barkley appeared on CNBC’s Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo Thursday afternoon and shared his incredibly diplomatic views on George Zimmerman’s acquittal. “I agree with the verdict,” Barkley told Bartiromo. “I’m sorry that young kid got killed, but they didn’t have enough evidence to charge him.” Barkley admitted that he did see some “racial profiling” in the case, but said “something happened that changed the dynamic that night.” He recognized what he was saying was “probably not a popular opinion among most people,” but “looking at the evidence” he said he agreed with the jury’s decision. He also called out the media for not having a “pure heart” when it comes to race. “Racism is wrong in any, shape or form,” Barkley said. “A lot of black people are racist too. I think sometimes when people talk about racism, they say only white people are racist, but I think black people are too. I don’t think the media has clean hands.” Despite Zimmerman’s “racial profiling,” in Barkley’s assessment, “Trayvon Martin, God rest his soul, he did flip the switch and start beating the hell out of Mr. Zimmerman.”

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd Baffled by Wall Street’s Anti-Obama Sentiment: The President ‘Has Not Done’ Much to Business

During Morning Joe on Thursday, MSNBC’s Chuck Todd appeared baffled by a discussion of negative feelings directed towards Barack Obama from Wall Street. The confused journalist wondered, “Look, at the end of the day, he has not done that much when it comes to business stuff.”   Mad Money host, Jim Cramer relayed to Todd that Wall Street is upset because, “Most of the people on Wall Street are behind the scenes guys” and the President is demagoging the issue and demonizing them.  Todd became upset that, regardless of what the President does, “He is getting trapped and hit from both sides, but it isn’t just that, this is how sour the American public is.” To understand why Wall Street and the American public might be “sour,” one needs to look no further than the cap and trade energy proposal, health care, the financial reform bill, the stimulus, or the nationalization of the automobile and student loan sectors. Perhaps Todd could listen to what a colleague on CNBC said. Back in February, Maria Bartiromo asserted that “there are a lot of people on Wall Street and in business increasingly that have said to me actually, ‘I don’t know that I would vote the same today given the fact that we did not expect he was so much to the left, and we did not expect that there was going to be such a big bite in business.’ I mean, that’s a fact.” Recently the media have been expressing incredulity at Barack Obama’s falling poll numbers. This includes MSNBC’s news anchor Contessa Brewer lamenting that after everything President Obama has done, “What else do people want?” Sounding a similar note, Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos on Thursday touted, after all of Obama’s achievements, “What more could the President have done?”

Bill Clinton: Goldman Sachs Did Nothing Illegal

Former President Bill Clinton says it is “time to lower the rhetoric and talk about the facts,” in reference to the government's scrutiny of Wall Street. In an exclusive interview with Maria Bartiromo, Clinton noted that while many financial firms are being questioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission, he does not believe that Goldman Sachs or CEO Lloyd Blankfein did anything illegal, based on what he's seeing. The SEC has been probing the mortgage operations of major banks, but so far has only charged Goldman with civil fraud. The firm has said it will fight the charges and has vigorously denied any wrongdoing. Clinton says “what we ought to do is have an honest conversation about what really happened, how to fix it, and how to get what's best about vital capital markets.” more at link… An “honest conversation about what really happened” just came out of the mouth of Bill Clinton, a guy who made his career by being the best liar in the business. I guess Ponzi schemes and financial terrorism is standard practice. How about raping and pillaging? Obviously treason is legal; how else are all the same cast of Benedict Arnolds still walking around, making billions by stealing our money. It was under Bill Clinton in 1999 when his cronies, Larry Summers, Alan Greenspan, Robert Rubin repealed the Glass-Steagall Act, which is the most important Post-Depression safeguard and protector of the citizen's cash. From that point forward, the floodgates were opened for the banking oligarchs to further bankrupt this nation. Who's running the Obama white house from behind the scenes? Rahm Emanuel and Larry Summers with his puppet, little Timmy Geithner. Even Elena Kagan, Supreme Court nominee, worked for Goldman Sachs as a top adviser, where she gave “expert advice to clients.” Also, she was at Harvard with Larry Summers. Are you kidding me? End the Fed…its a private, banking cartel that is purposefully tanking our currency b/c its leaders want a New World Order and a corporate-fascist dictatorship across the globe. Bill Clinton and everyone else in Washington works for Goldman Sachs b/c they have a monopoly on the issuance of currency via the mafioso institution known as the Federal Reserve. added by: rodstradamus
