Lakeland, Fla., teen Cassidy Goodson stands accused of choking her newborn to death … while the baby was still attached to her by the umbilical cord. Goodson gave birth to a boy in the bathroom of her home on September 19. The 14-year-old is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse. Police say the high school freshman killed her baby since she “didn’t know what to do with it,” and used scissors to pry it out of her body and into the toilet. Lifting the baby out of the toilet, Goodson “placed her hands on the infant’s neck and squeezed until he wasn’t moving or breathing any longer,” according to police. Goodson had reportedly been wearing baggy clothes to hide her pregnancy . Two aunts suspected the teen was pregnant, but the girl’s mother, Teresa Goodson, “was in complete denial,” Sheriff Grady Judd told the media. As evidence that she wasn’t pregnant, Cassidy Goodson had apparently shown her mother a couple of home pregnancy tests that turned up negative. However, the teen had conducted the tests completely alone. Three days after the birth, the Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting that Teresa Goodson, Cassidy’s mother, had found a dead baby inside a shoe box in her home. Teresa Goodson found it after noticing an odor coming from her daughter’s bedroom. Judd believes that Cassidy Goodson’s young age should be taken into account. “Let’s remember she is a child,” he said. “Where was her support system?” Officials are considering charging adults who may have known about the pregnancy and kept it a secret. Investigators are also currently trying to determine the baby’s father.

Idol Drama, Mariah Carey And Nicki Minaj Fight Caught On Tape [VIDEO]
If tension equates to ratings, American Idol may shatter a few records this season. During a taping of early Season 12 auditions in Charlotte yesterday, production slammed to a halt when Nicki Minaj WENT OFF on Mariah Carey – and portions of the incident are caught on tape! Watch for yourself: Nicki Minaj Goes Off on Mariah Carey As captured by TMZ and seen above, Minaj tells producers: “I told them I’m not f-ckin’ putting up with her f-ckin’ highness over there.” It’s been no secret that Carey is angry over the show bringing another female on board, and it’s now clear the feeling of disdain is mutual. Sources say the fight broke out over a contestant’s performance and that Nicki told Mariah at one point: “I’m gonna knock you out.” Keith Urban and Randy Jackson tried to settle their counterparts down, but to no avail. The taping consequently shut down early in order for both sides to slow their respective rolls. Producers are reportedly legitimately worried about chemistry on set, bu, hey, at least they didn’t bring Khloe Kardashian on board to host .

Drugs and dummies go hand in hand…. Man Brings Drugs To Court Appearance And Is Arrested Again An Illinois man in court for drug possession though it would be a good idea to bring his white powdery sidekick to court with him and was arrested on site after his drugs were discovered at the security check point. via The Grio A man appearing in front of a judge today for violating his probation for drug possession was arrested for doing it again — but this time inside the courthouse. Alex Robinson, 37, of Aurora, Illinois, was scheduled to appear at the Kane County courthouse this morning for violating probation from a previous cocaine delivery charge when security guards caught him carrying cocaine, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Robinson was going through the security line, waiting to get into the courthouse, when the metal detector went off. On his second trip through the detectors, the guards asked him to empty his pockets to make sure the alarm wouldn’t go off again. That’s when he dropped a bag with three grams of cocaine into a bin along with the rest of his things. Proof that yayo kills brain cells on contact. This fool wanted to end up exactly where he did, no question about it.

Now we didn’t see this coming… This is just sad on so many levels. While we were all wondering if Nicki’s ratchet azz even had business being a judge on idol, she’s already proved us wrong and has gone off on Mariah; with Keith’s defenseless country self stuck in the middle. At least Mimi kept it classy and let Nicki do Nicki. According to TMZ… Nicki Minaj derailed the “American Idol” auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, “I’m gonna knock you out” … sources tell TMZ. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious … shouting, “I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.” Sources say Nicki later threatened to “knock out” Mariah … but that part wasn’t captured on tape. It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge’s table … with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah. We’re told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant’s performance. According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down. Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up — it appears this was no joke and it seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul. We hope this gets squashed and the two can move on…even if one of them has to leave Idol. The last thing we need is another terrible representation of black women for middle America to see on TV. And Benicio Del Toro eyes his latest project. Lee Daniels’ The Butler Heads to The Weinstein Company TWC picked up U.S. rights to the film by Oscar-nominated director Lee Daniels. Forest Whitaker stars in the true-life inspired story about an African-American man who served as a butler in the White House under eight U.S. Presidents. The film also stars Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, Minka Kelly, Lenny Kravitz, Melissa Leo, James Marsden and Vanessa Redgrave. The film traces the dramatic changes that swept American society, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man’s life and family. “Lee tells stories in a way no one else does,” said TWC head Harvey Weinstein. “What struck me most about this story is the perspective it comes from, which in this case is the butler- a man who was a fly on the wall for decades in the world’s most powerful home.” The Butler is currently in production in New Orleans. Len Wiseman to Direct The Mummy Universal Pictures has tapped Wiseman to direct the reboot of the franchise that took in $1.25 billion over three films. Jon Spaihts is writing the script for the studio which is looking at a possible Summer 2014 release, Deadline reports . Innocence of Muslims Actress to Sue in Federal Court Cindy Lee Garcia named YouTube, Google and the film’s supposed producer Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in a law suit alleging fraud and emotional distress. Claiming a copyright issue, her lawyer Cris Armenta said on the Today show that they will dismiss the state court lawsuit and head to federal court, Deadline reports . Benicio Del Toro Set for How the Light Gets In Del Toro and producer Laura Bickford who partnered on Traffic and Che are partnering on How the Light Gets In , described as a “contemporary love story set in New York, London, Paris and Berlin.” In the film, Del Toro will play a Chilean novelist living in Paris who falls in love.
