Mary Carey Holds Back Her Breasts

I love when pornstars get invited to mainstream celebrity events, they seem so out of place on the red carpet, it’s awesome. It always looks like they don’t know if they should flash their boobs or not. The answer is always yes in that situation girls. Here’s Mary Carey at some premiere the other night desperately trying to keep herself from letting those plastic sweater mounds breathe. Don’t be shy lady, that’s what you do best. Nobody cares what those things look like covered up, let them out.

‘X Factor’: Rihanna Calls Brian Bradley ‘A Mini J. Cole’

Enrique Iglesias and Pharrell Williams also help out judges, while Mariah Carey can’t make it across the pond. By Adam Graham Rihanna and L.A. Reid Photo: FOX Half of the 32 “X Factor” semifinalists performed on Thursday’s (October 13) episode, which was delayed by a day due to Fox’s coverage of Major League Baseball . The contestants ventured off to their mentors’ luxurious homes and strutted their stuff in front of them, each vying for one of 16 spots in the finals. In three out of four cases, the judges were joined by a super-special celebrity guest: In Santa Barbara, California, Paula Abdul was accompanied by Pharrell Williams ; Enrique Iglesias was coupled with Nicole Scherzinger in Malibu, California; and Rihanna was by L.A. Reid’s side at his cozy estate in the Hamptons, New York. Meanwhile, over in France, Simon Cowell was stood up by Mariah Carey , whose plane was grounded by Hurricane Irene. When it was time to make decisions, a vocal coach and a team of music producers were there to give their impressions to Cowell, whose backyard, it should be noted, houses an absolutely enormous swimming pool. Simon’s pool aside, it was Rihanna who was the episode’s MVP. Not only did she help provide Reid feedback on the contestants, but three of them performed her songs, including Seattle crooner Phillip Lomax, who took RiRi by surprise with his laid-back, Sinatra-style take on “Don’t Stop the Music.” Other singers taking on Rihanna songs were Temecula, California, Bieber-hair-sporting brother duo the Brewer Boys, who did a Tejano version of “Only Girl in the World,” and James Kenney, who took on the emotionally charged “Russian Roulette.” As a judge, RiRi seemed most taken by pint-size 14-year-old rapper Brian “Astro” Bradley, whom she compared to “a mini J. Cole.” And the brimming-with-confidence Bradley didn’t hesitate to inform RiRi of his future plans with her, telling her frankly, “We will be doing a collab one day.” The Carey-less Cowell is tasked with mentoring the girls in the competition, and the standouts included 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz, whose slowed, hushed take on Roxette’s “It Must Have Been Love” was called “magic” by the tight-T-shirted one, and rugby bruiser Caitlyn Koch, whose “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” caused Cowell to praise her pitch and tone. Cowell also enjoyed Simone Battle’s piano-ballad version of the Beatles’ “Help,” but he seemed less sure about Tora Woloshin’s electro version of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”: “It doesn’t quite get to me,” a puzzled Cowell explained. In the groups category, Salt Lake City, Utah, trio the Anser impressed Paula and Pharrell with their version of Pink’s “Perfect,” though Pharrell seemed perplexed by a group member’s decision to leave his striking red-framed glasses off during the performance. Virginia Beach quartet 4Shore were praised for their sound take on Brownstone’s “If You Love Me,” though Pharrell suggested the group needs to “dirty up their style a little bit.” And both the judges and the members of Lakoda Rayne seemed to agree something was “off” during their performance of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” not surprising, considering the group was Frankenstein’d together by the judges and had never previously performed together as a unit. In the category of the Olds — sorry, the “Over 30s” — 53-year-old Elaine Gibbs and 42-year-old Stacy Francis stood out with their versions of Oasis’ “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” and Prince’s “Purple Rain,” respectively. (Of the latter’s, which seemingly echoed throughout the canyons of Malibu, Iglesias marveled, “I think the neighbors heard that.”) But the most memorable performance (for all the wrong reasons) came from formerly homeless 49-year-old Dexter Haygood, who strutted like Mick Jagger and kicked his legs in the air like David Lee Roth while screaming his way through Beyonc

Britney Spears To Premiere ‘Criminal’ Video Next Week

‘Just saw the final cut of the Criminal video… It’s so hot,’ Britney tweets. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears’ Criminal Photo: Jive/Sony Britney Spears is ready to release her cheeky clip for “Criminal” next week, Spears and director Chris Marrs Piliero confirmed Thursday (October 13) on Twitter. “Just saw the final cut of the Criminal video… It’s so hot. Can’t wait for you guys to see it next week,” the pop songstress tweeted . So when exactly will the video drop? A rep for the singer had no further details about the premiere when contacted by MTV News. Earlier this month, Piliero stayed pretty quiet about what fans should expect from the video, but he did gush about Spears’ performance on Twitter . “not a whole lot i’m allowed to say about the @britneyspears criminal vid other than that i love this video and can’t wait for it to come out,” he wrote. “oh and that she looks gorgeous in it… pretty sure it’s cool for me to say that…” Spears shot the video last month in London, right before kicking off the European leg of her Femme Fatale Tour. The video features Spears and real-life beau Jason Trawick. Little is known about what will happen in the video, but when Spears was photographed carrying a prop gun on set, politicians in the U.K. accused the star of glorifying violence after the London riots. The video was shot in Hackney, which was hit hard by the August riots, and local politicians were upset by what they saw as an insensitive gesture by Spears. “It is only a music video, but it’s images like this, with pop stars glamorizing gangs, which means that some young people … get drawn in,” Hackney’s Member of Parliament, Diane Abbott, told the ITV news program “London Tonight.” “Britney should really know better.” However, Spears shrugged off any criticisms in a statement to MTV News . “The video is a fantasy story featuring Britney’s boyfriend, Jason Trawick, which literally plays out the lyrics of a song written three years before the riots ever happened,” the statement read. L.A. Reid Regrets Dropping Lady Gaga: “I Was Having A Bad Day”

More here:

L.A. Reid – the man behind Rihanna, Usher and Mariah Carey’s careers – recently admitted he could’ve taken credit for Lady Gaga’s success too, but was having a bad day when he decided to drop her – only months after originally signing her to Island Def Jam. Of course, Gaga went on to sign with Interscope and L.A. moved to Epic Records, but here’s what he had to say about what could have been: “One day, this artist came to my office. She played piano, she had on white go-go boots, thigh-high boots. She sat down at the piano and she played and she sang and when she was done, I said, ‘You are an amazing artist, a true artist and you will change music’ and I signed her. Her name was Lady Gaga. “Then a few months later, I got her demos and it was a work in progress and I was having a bad day. A bad day. And I said, ‘You know what? I really don’t like it. Let her have her freedom. Let her go find her career.’ And it was the worst thing I’ve ever done.” Did L.A. Reid Sign Ciara? OutKast Signing With L.A. Reid’s Epic Records

Has Ciara been signed to L.A. Reid’s Epic Records label? Following her split from Jive Records and the failure that was her “Basic Instinct” album, we’ve been waiting for her to announce what her next move was, and we heard a while ago that it may be with L.A. Thats my girl!” The LaFace Records co-founder and X-Factor judge is responsible for signing Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Usher, Pink and OutKast, just to name a few.
