This whole Robert Kelly situation is getting everybody jammed up! Oh yeah, I’m calling him Robert from now on. But check this out! Via | HotNewHipHop When does 50 Cent not have time to troll? The controversy surrounding the allegations against R. Kelly has sparked a wider conversation about sexual misconduct in the music industry. Earlier today, Nick Cannon released the latest episode of his podcast, “Cannon’s Class” with Dame Dash. The legendary music mogul was asked about the signing of Foxy Brown and her relationship with Jay-Z which he swiftly shut down. The exchange clearly amused 50 Cent who poked fun at Dame Dash over his response. READ MORE
Things have been bad between Amber Portwood and Matt Baier for a very, very long time. Such a long time that we have to wonder if their relationship has ever been the least bit healthy. Turns out that throwing yourself like wet spaghetti at each and every Teen Mom star until you finally stick isn’t the best way to start a happy, stable union — who knew?! But while Mamber has always been a nightmare, things have really been falling apart recently. Last month, Matt took a lie detector test that determined he’d been cheating on her , and she kicked him out of their house. He managed to weasel his way back into her life, then an episode of Teen Mom OG aired in which he called her “psycho” and stated multiple times that he’d never marry her . Again, he managed to weasel his way back in, and this time, he tried to convince her to do a sex tape with him . Last week we heard that Amber really had broken up with him , but “she has a hard time saying no” because “she knows he has nowhere to go if she kicks him out.” But after the stunt Matt pulled this week, it seems like there’s a good chance she’s totally over him. Last night, Matt and Amber were scheduled to appear at a Barnes & Noble in Indiana for a book signing, but they never showed. According to an event post on the Barnes & Noble website and social media posts from Matt, he was going to sign copies of his tell-all while Amber was going to meet fans and sign copies of her 2014 book, Never Too Late. A fan in attendance told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that ten minutes after the event was scheduled to begin, a store employee announced that Matt and Amber were on their way. Then, 15 minutes later, it was announced that Matt had canceled. Another 15 minutes later, Amber canceled, too. According to the fan, an employee claimed that “Amber was crying and that she was confused and there was a conflict with filming, which makes no sense since they both knew about it and advertised it along with Barnes & Noble.” Sounds like a mess, right? But it’s a mess Amber is refusing to take responsibility for. “This had nothing to do with me in any way!!!” she tweeted about the situation. “I was going to support him. This is sad.” “My name should not even be in the article!” she wrote, referring to The Ashley’s report. “It wasn’t my book signing!” She insisted that Matt was the one who canceled the event, and that she’s “pissed off” that she’s “getting backlash for someone else’s stupidity!!!” “It was his book signing,” she repeated. “Don’t use my f-cking name to make money and don’t do that to my fans!!!!” When one of her followers pointed out that it was advertised that she’d be at the signing, Amber tweeted “Are you serious you dumb bitch??” “I hate people..stop following me idc if you believe me or not. IDC lol.” She also wrote that she’s “so hurt about the situation I cried earlier which is why it hurts me to be called a liar. I would NEVER do that to my fans!” It’s a little confusing, because it doesn’t seem to be an issue of Amber lying — it was clearly advertised that she would be there, and she wasn’t. Later, she clarified that she said that because she’s not the one who lied — Matt did. “It was for him and he said it was cancelled,” she tweeted. “I came home from NY the day before. I will not be blamed for this!!” “I would never ever just not show up to see my fans,” she continued. “I’m very hurt that I was told it was cancelled and that was a lie.” “I will make it up to everyone for free! Free books or a meet anything! I would never do that on purpose!! Please know that!” As for Matt, he skipped the signing because, according to a source who spoke to Radar, he’s “in Massachusetts visiting family.” “Matt has been jealous of Amber for going to the Teen Mom reunion in New York without him. They have been fighting.” Judging by how many times she called him “stupid” on Twitter, we’d say that’s accurate. So can they break up already or what?
Hollywood Mum On Syria For Fear Of Seeming “Anti-Black” SMH. Actors scared of being called racists ?? According to Hollywood Reporter: In 2003, ahead of a U.S. attack on Iraq, a robust anti-war movement in Hollywood included a TV commercial starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn visiting Baghdad. There were online petitions signed by Ed Asner; letters to President George W. Bush pleading for peace were signed by Matt Damon, Tim Robbins, Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin; former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrell fronted multiple press conferences where celebrities denounced war. The good news for President Barack Obama as he considers a military response against Syria for using chemical weapons against rebels is that he probably won’t have to deal with a similar anti-war movement from Hollywood. But that’s not because there isn’t opposition. It’s just not organized, and, as Asner and Farrell – two of the industry’s most vocal progressive activists — told The Hollywood Reporter Friday, perhaps it never will be. While some conservatives see hypocrisy, Farrell says that an all-out war in Iraq under Bush, a Republican who was very unpopular in Hollywood, was a much bigger deal than potential missile strikes against Syria under the direction of Obama, a Democrat who drew millions for his campaigns from showbiz industry donors. Asner, 83, and Farrell, 74, both expressed extreme disappointment in Obama for advocating military action. “What he is talking about in Syria is a potential war crime,” Farrell said. “It will be illegal, and if citizens are killed it certainly could be considered a war crime.” Also, said Asner, unsuccessful efforts to prevent war in Iraq led to complacency among left-wing activists. “We had a million people in the streets, for Christ’s sake, protesting Iraq, which was about as illegal as you could find. Did it matter? Is George Bush being tried in the high courts of justice?” asks Asner. “We’ve been so God-damned stung in this country by false wars, repeatedly, that, how can you believe in any just war with the history we have had?” Another reason some Hollywood progressives have been reticent to speak out against war in Syria, according to Asner, is fear of being called racist. “A lot of people don’t want to feel anti-black by being opposed to Obama,” he said. Asner said Hollywood activists should read a Huffington Post blog item by Dennis Kucinich, where the former congressman lists the “Top 10 unproven claims for war against Syria.” “Whether it’s a Republican or Democrat president, or Republican or Democrat Congress — and it doesn’t make a God-damned difference — it behooves us to get off our ass and ask these questions,” Asner said. Farrell and Asner both say that beating the war drums on Syria is one of many mistakes Obama has made. “I voted for him, but I’m not proud. He hasn’t thrown himself on the funeral pyre. I wanted him to sacrifice himself. Instead, he has proved himself to be a corporatist, and as long as he’s a corporatist, he’s not my president,” Asner said. “A lot of people have lost hope — with the betrayals, the NSA spying … People aren’t getting active because ‘Who gives a sh*t?’ is essentially the bottom line.” Thoughts?? Bradley College Signs Terminally Ill 5-Yr-Old To Basketball Team This is such a great story … Via NBC Sports: No, this is not another story of recruiting gone bad. It’s the rare recruiting gone very right tale. On Friday, kindergartner Johnah Sahrs and his nine-year-old brother Jarrett signed letters of intent to join the Bradley Braves for the 2013-14 season. Johnah is battling the life-threatening condition neuroblastoma and his older brother has been doing what brothers do – helping his sibling get through the tough times. The brothers were introduced to the Braves by Team Impact, a non-profit organization that gets sick kids together with their favorite college teams. Bradley’s website went the whole nine yards, announcing the signing in a non-ironic press release that could touch the coldest heart. A 3-foot-4-inch guard, Johnah Sahrs will wear uniform number 1. He becomes both the youngest and the shortest player in Bradley Basketball history. Standing 4-foot-5-inches, Jarret Sahrs will wear uniform number 32. Senior guard Mason Alwan, sophomore guard Anthony Fields, senior center Jordan Prosser and freshman guard Jordan Swopshire gave the Sahrs brothers a tour of the Renaissance Coliseum facilities prior to the signing ceremony and will serve as their primary team mentors throughout the season. So wonderful! We hope little Johnah can beat his condition and live a long healthy life. Continue reading →

It’s the weirdest thing in the World when you think about it, and say “I’ve met Justin Bieber”. It’s even weirder when you can say “I’ve met Justin Bieber, twice”. Some people can call me selfish, for going to both London book signings, but we all know how much we would die to go to them! Luckily for me, I had the best times when I went, and I’m beyond blessed to have had these opportunities. On September 12th 2013, me and my mum met Justin, and all I can recall was how I told him “Thank you for everything, I love you so much!” He looked into my eyes, smiled and said “I love you too.” Once I took my book, I started to cry, so Justin grabbed my hand, squeezed it, rubbed his thumb along mine and just carried on smiling at me, looking into my eyes. I don’t know how to explain it. I mean, I can say I love Justin, but at that moment, I knew I was in love with him. Once I let go, he spoke to my mum, who was happy because she’s a Belieber too, and then we left. All I remember is screaming in front of everyone that Justin held my hand, and he most probably heard it. I went outside, fell on the floor and sobbed for at least 4 hours. By February 23rd 2013, I was much more calm, and relaxed for the second meeting. I waited with my best friend, and some new friends, before finally getting to go inside the room. All I remember was that that girls screamed, and I went “Shhh! He’s talking with people. Calm yourselves.” and mentioning that you wouldn’t want people screaming when you had your turn. It all went to quickly from there, and when I was in front of him, I just kind of blabbered. Fredo was recording it, and he got me saying everything. When I told Justin that my best friend and me met at his My World Tour, he replied with “Aw! That’s amazing.” and he smiled at my best friend, Becky. Then I told him about my book being for my best friend in America, and he goes “You’re amazing. Thank you. I love you”. I legit died inside. He was smiling and being so kind. I signaled for a hug, but instead he held my hand again. Then we were pushed out the room where I screamed for Kenny, and cried, a lot. It was all kind of rushed, but it was worth it, definitely. About 3 weeks after, I had friends posting on my Facebook that I was on their TV, and it turned out I was featured on E! News in America, Ireland, England and more. I managed to find a video, and I’m so happy Fredo did record me, considering he didn’t record many of my friends who went too. Out of these two times meeting him, I can say that now, I think that anything is possible. I pray to God, and ask him to bless me with these things, and I manage to get lucky. I believe in if you try hard enough, you’ll reach your dreams. I hope I can inspire at least one person to think that they can do it, because if you give up, you’re going against what Justin has taught us. Keep going, and I promise, you’ll end up with an experience like the amazing ones on here.
