Mother Of Murdered 9-Year-Old Tyshawn Lee Reportedly Used Donations For Trip To Vegas First Tyshawn Lee’s mother may have used the thousands she received in donations to bury her murdered nine-year-old son to buy a new car . Now it appears that she may have also used part of the funds to fly out to Las Vegas. According to Fox Chicago 32 reporter Anita Padilla, Karla Lee didn’t even wait 24 hours after her son’s funeral before jetting off to Sin City. Via Padilla’s Facebook : What would you say if I told you that the mother of a murdered boy left town for Las Vegas on the evening of her son’s funeral? That’s the news I am trying to develop this morning for Good Day Chicago. TWO very good sources tell me Karla Lee (Tyshawn Lee’s mother) has left town. One of the sources says she left on Tuesday night –THE VERY NIGHT OF HER SON’S FUNERAL–and SHE FLEW TO LAS VEGAS. Her family is said to be incensed. Keep in mind, this is the same Karla Lee who took a hit on social media over the weekend when she was criticized for using GOFUNDME money to buy a brand new car. She adamantly denied using the money from the fund…but said it was money she saved up beforehand. She said she needed a car for her protection because walking and taking the bus just wasn’t safe for her. (( In all fairness, Karla Lee’s cell phone is a Las Vegas phone number)) Everyone grieves differently, but damn. This isn’t looking too good. SMH.
Marjorie Harvey Posts An “Offensive” #PrayForParis Pic To Instagram Apparently Marjorie Harvey didn’t get the memo that during terrorist attack isn’t really ideal timing for self-promotion. For those who aren’t hip to Marjorie’s Instagram, she’s best known for her amazing personal style and frequent fashion posts. Howwwever, many people were not feeling her this morning when she decided to post a “Pray For Paris’ photo of her slaying. In true Instagram fashion, the comments started rolling in. Steve Harvey Almost Divorced Over $20 Million Tax Lien Considering how he dogged his ex-wife Mary out, it’s surprising karma didn’t bite him in his azz. According to Sister 2 Sister: There was a time when Steve Harvey’s people thought his marriage might not work out. Steve seemingly can’t say enough great things about his wife Marjorie Harvey whenever the topic of relationships come up. However, not everyone in his circle has always been so complimentary. He revealed to Essence that not long after their wedding the comedian-turned-talk show host was slammed with a $20 million tax lien. The lien came after it was discovered that Steve’s accountant had been holding onto years worth of the funny man’s tax returns without filing them. At the time, the people in Steve’s camp advised him to keep the devastating news from Marjorie. “She’ll leave you,” Steve recalled them saying. “This is the happiest we’ve ever seen you. …Nobody is going to stick around with this kind of mess.” Ignoring their advice, Steve decided to be honest with Marjorie about the financial situation because he was confident in her dedication to him. “I said, ‘If this woman leaves me over this, I will be the most surprised man on planet Earth,’” Steve shared. “ Marjorie stayed.” No one could be more thankful about that than he is because he doesn’t know that he’d be where he is today if she’d left. “Every great man has a woman… I didn’t say successful man, I said great man,” said Steve. “Do you think Dr. Martin Luther King was anything without Coretta? SMH: Steve Harvey took to his nationally syndicated radio show yesterday to address salacious allegations his ex-wife, Mary Shackelford’s posted via YouTube videos about the ‘King of Comedy’ being a serial cheater who left her for his current wife, Marjorie Bridges Harvey. Since their 2005 divorce, Shackelford claimed that she now has nothing, as Harvey also has full custody of their 15-year-old son, Wynton. Now, the New York Times Bestselling author’s current wife has retained an attorney to fight the allegations that she was the other woman, something that she said has left her both “shocked and dismayed.” Mrs. Harvey is pursuing a lawsuit against Shackelford.
