In the tradition of all singing competitions, The X Factor aired a few catastrophes this week, from those who cannot carry a tune to those who drop their pants in the middle of the stage. Wait… what?!? Yes, Geo Godley bared almost all on Wednesday night, making Nicole Scherzinger scream and accomplishing something even more impressive: making Simon Cowell speechless. Geo Godley Drops His Pants The Parents Television Council does not find Godley’s antics funny, however, and has called out Fox for airing such filth. “If Godley performed his act in public, he would have been arrested,” writes Tim Winter. “But if he performs it in front of a Fox camera, his act is beamed via the public airwaves into every home in the nation… “Families were led to believe the ‘X Factor’ would be family-friendly programming and instead were assaulted by graphic nudity.” That’s actually not true, Godley says, responding that he was donning a g-string and they “are legal.” In less silly news, how about a couple of the acts we witnessed this week?!? Let the dating rumors begin! “That s––t’s already started,” Ballas said, laughing off the rumors that he’s doing the horizontal mambo with Cavallari. “She is a sweetheart. We have a lot of fun.” “We both laugh a lot. We’re getting along great.” Cavallari, whose engagement to Jay Cutler just ended this summer, has no problems with people speculating that she and Ballas are more than partners. “I kind of expected [the dating rumors], to be honest,” she says . “That’s just what happens when you put two people together.” All celebrity gossip aside, the dancing duo is excited about what the season holds in the ballroom. Says Mark, after this week’s DWTS results : “I’m really proud of her so far. We’re focusing on the routines and making the best performances for our fans. The reality show romance between Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas has come to an end. The ballroom guru and the American Ido l finalist – who started dating soon after the latter was shockingly eliminated from season 10 – “both decided with everything going on that they couldn’t give each other what would be fair,” says a source. “They mutually decided this.” Ballas is paired with Kristin Cavallari on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars and there’s little doubt rumors will soon surface over whether or not she played a role in this split. Toscano, meanwhile, will release her debut album this fall.

So much for that rumored break . Just days after Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart supposedly split, the actor led the cast of Twilight in a 21st birthday celebration for his girlfriend on Saturday night. Sources tell Us Weekly a private party was held at Rockwell’s Bar & Grill in Vancouver, as “Rob led the crowd singing” for Kristen, the insider says, adding: “You could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way.” Stewart received a motorcycle as a gift and an onlooker makes it clear she and Pattinson are as hot and as heavy as ever: “Rob and Kristin were together all night. They held hands and he kissed her cheek a bunch of times.” Breaking Dawn will be finished filming within a few weeks. But expect to see these two together a lot over the next few months, as they promote the film’s November release.
