Via US Weekly reports : The Iron Man 3 actress celebrates her ninth wedding anniversary with husband Chris Martin on Wednesday, Dec. 5. In a new interview with InStyle UK, Paltrow, 40, admitted that she and the Coldplay frontman, 35, have faced challenges in their relationship mostly due to their busy careers. What’s the hardest part about their marriage? “Probably our artistic temperaments together,” Paltrow said. “Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs, mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write.” The actress is set to reprise her role as Pepper Potts in the upcoming Iron Man 3, and Martin has been touring with Coldplay for their Mylo Xyloto album. Paltrow explained, “The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging.” In addition to their busy careers, they are also parents to daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6. But Paltrow wishes they could have more children! “My brain says, ‘Oh, I think I’m done, the kids are big now and I don’t want to go back to changing diapers.’ But a part of me would love to have another.” “Of course,” she added, “I’m old now!’ Well at least she’s honest right. As the Kim Kardashian- Kris Humphries divorce case continues to drag on… and on… and on… a source tells In Touch Weekly that the reality star is considering legal action against the NBA power forward. “She has instructed her lawyer, Laura Wasser, to give Kris and his lawyers an ultimatum: Settle now or she will sue,” a friend claims to the tabloid, adding of potential attorney fees if Kardashian goes through with this threat: “[They] could cost Kris millions.” Humphries is seeking to annul his marriage to Kardashian, somehow arguing that he was duped into the union and is owed a ton of cash beyond the prenuptial agreement he signed. He apparently also wants the Kim Kardashian engagement ring back. “Kim will launch a counterattack for defamation of character,” this insider alleges. “You can’t put a price tag on what Kris has cost her.” Ummm… we’re pretty much we can. Kardashian just touched down in Kuwait because Millions of Milkshakes is paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars to pose for a few photos. We think she’s doing okay.
For reasons that defy comprehension, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries remain married. Lawyers for both halves of this estranged couple met in court yesterday, with Kim’s representative complaining that her client is “handcuffed” to Humphries – and not in the usual Kim Kardashian way! So… what the heck is the hold-up here? “Kris is adamant that he wants the [engagement] ring back,” a source tells Radar Online. “And it’s becoming a real sticking point between his and Kim’s attorneys… ” Kris contends that the marriage was a total sham and that Kim only wed him for publicity so therefore she has no right to keep such an expensive gift.” The gift in question cost around $2 million and is 20.5 carats in size. Why would Kim even want to keep it , Humphries allegedly wonders. Why would Kris care , we can shoot back. The guy makes millions of dollars a year playing basketball for a living… when he isn’t getting ejected from games , that is. It’s just another wrinkle in the Kim Kardashian divorce case that will last until February 15th at the earliest. That’s when a judge has set the next hearing. Bravo, home to “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is acting all BET on us by setting up three more reality shows here, all variations on the same theme of rich women generating drama and conflict. One we already know about: it’s the continuation of Kim Zolciak’s life, post “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She had a successful spinoff earlier this year about her wedding. She’s currently taping her second spinoff. (Her final appearance on “Real Housewives” is set for this Sunday.) 27-Year-Old Virgin Evette Holyfield Encourages Young Girls To Save Themselves For Marriage Former boxing champ Evander Holyfield might have to pick and choose his battles when it comes to things like child support and home foreclosure , but he seems to have done something right with one of his 9,9870 eleven children. Holyfield’s 27-Year-old daughter Evette credits her father with teaching her the importance of saving herself for marriage, and she even spends some of her time encouraging young women to do the same. She recently sat down with Essence to share her views on abstinence and her choice to remain a virgin until marriage: ESSENCE.COM: When did you decide to be abstinent until marriage? EVETTE HOLYFIELD: We grew up in a Christian home. When I was around six years old, my dad said to me, “You don’t need to have sex outside of marriage.” He went through the whole spiel with me. So as I grew up, I thought, okay dad, if you don’t want me to do it, I’m not gonna do it. Then I started to really understand church – the words in the Bible and what the pastor is really saying. At that point, I wasn’t just doing it because my dad said don’t, but rather, I now believe that by waiting, God will bless me and bring me a great husband. ESSENCE.COM: Has it been a difficult decision for you? HOLYFIELD: Honestly, it’s easy for me. I was in a three-year relationship, and I never had those desires for him in that way. He never pressured me. In my mind, I already have it set that I’m not gonna do it, so if someone were to pressure me, it wouldn’t even phase me. I just don’t have those desires. ESSENCE.COM: How do your girlfriends react to your stance? Women can be emotional bullies too. HOLYFIELD: My sister is a virgin, and I have a couple of friends who are virgins too. Some women have said to me, “Why would anyone want to date you if you haven’t had sex?” I ask them, “Why would anyone want to date someone who has slept with the whole world?” Having sex with a man is not what’s going to set you apart. What’s going to set you apart is what’s in your head. Evette also gave her two cents on whether or not she thinks other women should follow in her footsteps.. ESSENCE.COM: Do you encourage others to make the decision you have? HOLYFIELD:I have talked to young groups of kids at different schools about the keys to success, and one of the secrets I tell the young girls is to preserve themselves and their bodies and not to give them away to someone who doesn’t deserve it. Guys are going to treat you how you allow them to, and if you don’t respect yourself and feel like you’re worth something, then you will feel like you should do whatever a man wants you to. ESSENCE.COM: Should every woman wait until marriage? HOLYFIELD: I would prefer if women waited to have sex, but I know it’s unrealistic to think that all women are going to think like me. I think women should make a list of what they really want in a man. Then, wait, really stick to your guns, and have faith that God is going to give you that person. They’ve been separated for over a year, but Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher remain legally married. And the reason why can be boiled down to one word, sources tell Radar Online: spite. The actress is allegedly upset that Kutcher has moved on so quickly to Mila Kunis , as those former T hat 70s Show co-stars have been spotted kissing and cuddling in public for months now. “Demi has instructed her attorneys to delay negotiations as much as possible,” a source claims. “The main issue they have been fighting over has been the division of assets and the monetary settlement, but it’s now gotten to the point where Ashton is willing to cave in to all of Demi’s demands just to reach a settlement.” However.. “Demi is totally playing hardball and every time they come close to reaching an agreement she throws up another objection or demand.” The insider goes on to say Ashton and Mila are growing more hot and heavy everyday – and his status is becoming a major issue: “It’s driving Ashton nuts as he just wants to close that chapter of his life and move on, he and Mila are VERY serious about each other and although another marriage isn’t going to happen immediately it is definitely something both Ashton and Mila have discussed and believe is in their future.”
