Giuliana Rancic: Surrogate Miscarries Last Remaining Embryo

Giuliana Rancic’s infertility struggles have been long documented in the media.  In another devastating blow, Rancic’s last remaining viable embryo was lost when her surrogate had a miscarriage. In an interview with People Magazine , Rancic reveals that she and her husband, Bill, found out about the latest miscarriage on New Years Eve: “It was painful. Were were so optimistic with this last embryo,” Rancic explains .  “We thought, ‘This is definitely going to work. This is our last shot.”  Giuliana and Bill welcomed their son, Duke, in 2012 via surrogacy. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, Rancic decided to freeze four of her embryos.  After their son was born, they had two of the three remaining embryos implanted, but they were lost as well in a miscarriage only a few weeks later. Getting pregnant herself would be inherently risky for the 40-year-old E! News host, she says, due to her cancer-suppressing medication. However, Giuliana and Bill are open to alternatives, including adoption: “We’re open to everything. I think adoption is a beautiful gift you’re giving each other.” “And it’s funny, I’m even more open to [adoption] than I was before. Because I think to myself, ‘I love Duke so much, if I couldn’t take care of him, I hope there would be someone else who would love him.'” The rampant media and online criticism of Giuliana Rancic’s weight also warrants a mention, and she attributes that to her medication, saying, “It’s really hurtful.” “I’m sorry that some people think I’m ‘disgustingly skinny,’ as they put it, but there’s nothing I can do. Jeremy Renner-Sonni Pacheco Custody Drama: Resolved?

It looks like Jeremy Renner can finally breathe a sigh of relief as he has FINALLY reached a settlement with his estranged wife, Sonni Pacheco. The settlement includes custody and child support for their 2-year-old daughter, Ava. Jeremy Renner and Sonni Pacheco have had a rollercoaster romance after they secretly got married in September of last year, then broke up shortly afterward. After the split, Renner alleged that Pacheco threatened to leak racy videos if he didn’t follow through with getting her a green card and give her financial stability. It was also revealed after the split that Sonni had done a whole host of reckless things, and stopped breastfeeding because she felt guilty about drinking alcohol. Now it appears the two parties have resolved their differences, however. According to TMZ, Sonni will NOT get spousal support since the marriage only just 10 months. We bet Jeremy’s happy that he had a prenup drawn up, right? The custody will be split 50/50 which is a far cry from what Sonni was seeking – Ava all to herself. Sonni will also receive a sum of $13,000 a month for child support. Jeremy’s lawyer, Laura Wasser seems to think it’s all over, but Sonni’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, seems to think otherwise. Karrueche On Iyanla Vanzant Karrueche recently caught the wrath of Twitter trolls after her Iyanla Vanzant interview aired. Just before her sit down premiered on OWN, Kae took to IG to ask people to keep an open mind as she dished on her breakup with Chris Brown. “At the end of the day we have not all been at our best at times so please learn from me and never forget to love yourself,” she wrote. Later as the interview aired Twitter took with reactions in particular from folks who couldn’t believe that she actually thought Breezy and Rihanna had a “platonic” friendship until he left her on Christmas day to attend a Lakers game with the singer. “I was under the impression that it was a friend type of — not a friend — but it wasn’t what it became to be … I didn’t want to believe it, said Karrueche.   Poor thang. Scott Disick Bails on Rehab AGAIN!

Last week, Scott Disick checked into rehab following an embarrassing incident at an Atlantic City hotel. It seems Scott was found drunk and barefoot , wandering the lobby of the Harrah’s Resort at 8 am, Sunday morning. Scott was escorted to his room, where he fell asleep and missed his checkout time and his flight to Chicago later that day. Not surprisingly, the incident made Scott realize the severity of his drinking problem, and just days later, he booked a room at the Rhythmia Life Advancement Center – a non-traditional addiction treatment facility in Costa Rica. The center specializes in Iboga therapy, in which patients consume all-natural hallucinogens and go on supervised “trips” that are intended to help them overcome their addictions. Sadly, it looks as though even such an unusual treatment method couldn’t keep Scott’s attention, as TMZ is reporting that Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy will be back in LA on Monday. Insiders say Scott actually had a flight home booked for today, but he had a last-second change of heart and decided to stay at the facility a bit longer. Even so, he’s falling well short of the recommended 21-day treatment plan. Disick has a long history of bailing on rehab , and he once ditched a Malibu treatment center after just 12 hours of in-patient care. His latest brief stint came last summer after Scott was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning . Disick admits that he could’ve died from the incident and it inspired him to seek help, but he lasted just one day in rehab. There is no word on whether or not Scott plans to pursue a different course of treatment, but we imagine the mother of his three children will strongly encourage him to do so.  11 Times Scott Disick Was a Douche 1. Earlier this week, Scott Disick checked into rehab for what some claim is his fifth attempt at getting sober through in-patient care. Yes, Scott has a long history of bailing on rehab , but sources close to the reality star say that he appeared to be serious about getting off the sauce this time. In fact Scott went all the way to Costa Rica for a bizarre experimental treatment involving hallucinogenic plants that he hoped would be more effective than the traditional approaches he had tried in the past. Kate Gosselin: Child Abuse Allegations Detailed in Leaked Court Documents

There have been plenty of Kate Gosselin child abuse allegations over the years.  Sources ranging from tabloid reporters to members of Kate’s inner circle have accused the reality star of beating and neglecting her children. Perhaps most scandalously, Kate was investigated by child services for mistreating her 10-year-old son, Collin, over a period of years. The investigators looked into this, but did not find sufficient evidence of abuse to remove Collin or any of Kate’s children from her home, even temporarily. Apparently that was not the first time that concerned parties tried to determine if Kate was an unfit mother, though. Court documents from 2010, which leaked today, show that Kate’s ex, Jon Gosselin, desperately tried to convince a judge that Kate should not be permitted to raise children. The documents detail an incident that occurred on Octover 19, 2010, in which Jon claims that he found physical evidence of abuse, including a “large red welt” on daughter Leah’s backside that he discovered while bathing her. “[Leah] later explained that it was from Mother after Leah bit Hannah,” the document explains.
