Zoe Saldana is taking the Beyonce and Jay Z route when it comes to marriage. Zoe Saldana Chooses To Keep Marriage Private You won’t see Zoe’s business plastered all over social media…she knows how to maintain a happy home. According to US Weekly: On Dec. 3 Zoe Saldana officially let the cat out of the bag and confirmed her marriage to hubby Marco Perego on Jimmy Kimmel Live — six months after the actual nuptials took place. And in a new cover story with Ocean Drive Magazine, the actress, 35, reveals why she stayed so tight-lipped about the wedding. “I love what I do so much, but I love my [personal] life more,” she said in the interview. “I realized through the years of being in this business that the only way to maintain some kind of sanity is to protect that which is most dear to you, which is your life and everyone that’s in it.” Us Weekly was first to break the news of the Out of the Furnace actress’ secret London wedding in June 2013. Saldana and the Italian artist were linked in May, but had “known each other for a long time.” The couple has been spotted showing off some PDA in New York in November 2013. She’s previously been linked to former costar Bradley Cooper, but never publicly spoke about that relationship either. Kenya is still stirring the pot. Kenya Says Apollo Was Disrespectful To His Marriage When Apollo said he was texting Kenya for business and not sex we didn’t believe him. Apollo was probably trying to get some on the side… bruh is slick. According to Kenya’s Bravo TV Blog: Watching Apollo repeatedly say he “could have slept with me if he wanted to” and seeing the way he behaves in his marriage just reminds me of how immature, disrespectful, and dishonest he is to his wife, marriage, and in life. Leopards don’t change their spots. Lying landed him in prison. His mouth says one thing, but reality and his character speak volumes: If he could have, he would have. I’m done with this. The basketball legend and his wife Yvette Preito are expecting a child together, his rep confirms to Us Weekly. Jordan, 50, and Prieto tied the knot seven months ago in an over-the-top wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., on April 27. The two said “I do” at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The Sea Church and were joined by over 300 guests. Their reception was held at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla. See Michael and Yvette’s wedding photo! Jordan and the Cuban-American model, 34, were joined by famous pals for their special day, including Robin Thicke, Usher, Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing and Spike Lee. An insider exclusively revealed to Us that the couple shared their first dance to K’Jon’s “One the Ocean.” This will be the first child for the couple of over five years. Jordan is already a dad to three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Venoy. The couple were married for 17 years before splitting in 2006. It’s about damn time ! Ashton Kutcher And Demi Moore Divorce Finalized According to TMZ reports : Ashton Kutcher has something to be thankful for this week — his divorce from Demi Moore was just finalized … TMZ has learned. The docs were filed Tuesday afternoon by disso-queen Laura Wasser on Kutcher’s behalf, ending the marriage that began in 2005. The two had separated in 2011. The reason it took so long for the saga to finally end (Ashton initially filed for divorce in Dec. 2012) — is because they were squabbling over money. As we first reported, Demi wanted spousal support even though she’s worth way more than Ashton. Our sources say she backed off that claim. We’re told … they ultimately reached a financial settlement and Ashton gave Demi somewhat more than he had to, but at least it’s finally over … and now he can focus on getting hitched to Mila Kunis (if he wants). The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Date From Hell

The Real Housewives of Atlanta made us wonder if it was “Too Late to Apollo-Gize” or if anyone was even bothering to try? We recap all the half truths and straight out lies in our THG +/- review. Not sure why Kandi Buress was playing super sleuth when it came to Kenya Moore and Apollo but it was a little weird. Minus 10 . Seems like Kandi’s got enough problems in her own family to be worrying so much about Phaedra’s. But she did make several good points. First of all, crazy Kenya needs to come up with a new saying because Gone With the Wind Fabulous is as tired as I am of Ms. Moore.  The two supposed girlfriends met for a different kind of workout that had Kenya quipping, “I’m no stranger to having my legs in the air upside down.”  Talk about TMI. Minus 22. Kandi says she would have tried a spin if not for having twisted her ankle. Looks like she fell off her heels. I can’t believe that doesn’t happen more often given what these ladies wear. But when Kenya starts sharing her text messages from Apollo, the one thing I noticed was that there seemed to be an awful lot of them. Minus 30. Even though Phaedra says that “the last thing I want to do is give her sagging diaper booty any more energy,” she decided to have dinner with Apollo to hash this out. It quickly turned into the date from hell.  Apollo got defensive with the classic, “I’m a grown man. You’re not my mama.”  I wonder what his Mama would say about him texting single woman while he’s married. Minus 25.  He swears nothing inappropriate happened…except he was texting a single woman he now admits wanted to have sex with him.  What’s inappropriate about that? Minus 40. Then Apollo starts throwing the insults. “Everyone else don’t have to live with you. Everyone else don’t have to go home with you.”  Can’t imagine why that didn’t help the situation? Minus 33. But Kenya’s got other issues. NeNe shows up at Kenya’s temporary digs and sees a white refrigerator . Oh the horror! So she must take her friend out to find a new place asap. They visit a 4000 square foot penthouse with panoramic views…and Kenya scoffs at it. She needs no less than 5000 square feet for her and her little dog. Seriously does anyone not see through this? The woman got kicked out of her last place and she’s currently living in a dive. I’m guessing there’s no money for a penthouse. Porsha heads to her therapist to try and figure out her marriage issues. Plus 33.  Dr. Blake says the question isn’t why Kordell married her but why she married Apollo. Good point.  Porsha’s lunch with the girls was kind of dull except that she admits Kordell doled out the grocery money and wouldn’t let her sister visit. Minus 15. As NeNe said, you’ll know it’s right when you make your own money and can treat yourself like a princess. Episode total = -142!                                             Season total = -381!

John and Ann Betar, America’s Longest Married Couple, Marks 81st Anniversary!

This spring, John and Ann Betar became America’s longest married couple. On Monday, the Connecticut lovebirds celebrate an incredible milestone: Eighty-one years of marriage! Longest Married Couple Seriously. The pair eloped in Harrison, N.Y. on November 25, 1932. He was 21, she was just 17. Ann told Reuters that the eloped because of their age difference: “[We] had no choice but to elope because my father was set on me marrying a much older man, and I was 17,” the 98-year-old adds of her 102-year-old spouse. “John was not the boy next door, but the boy across the street who I loved.” John added that the nuptials caused quite a stir among their families. “Everyone was hopping mad, and my wife’s aunt even consoled my father-in-law by telling him not to worry, the marriage won’t last,” he recalls. How wrong they were, to say the absolute least. Did it last! The Betars have been together for eight decades and had five kids (two are deceased). The duo also have 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. “We have watched the world change together,” John said. His secret? “The key is to always agree with your wife.” In April, Victoria Wrubel, who was married to her husband Steven Wrubel for 83 years, died, ending what was believed to be the U.S.’s longest marriage. According to the Associated Press, the Betars’ title hasn’t been officially confirmed, but is believed to be accurate. They’re in some rarefied air, either way! Pretty inspirational and impressive, and they’re awfully sweet together to boot. Congratulations to the couple and best wishes for continued good health.

How much longer will Khloe hang on? It’s time to sign those papers. Khloe Hints At Lamar’s Drug Problem On TV Lamar is taking sobriety tests to stay with Khloe when he needs to be hiring a lawyer…those sneaky Kardashians will take him to the cleaners. According to the Huffington Post: Things could be coming to a head in Khloe Kardashian’s marriage to Lamar Odom, and it’s bleeding into “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” This week, their marital issues were all over the place, and yet they still weren’t being addressed directly, which The Stir’s Rebecca Stokes found “awkward.” It was widely reported over the summer that the NBA star was struggling with substance abuse, but that was neither confirmed nor denied on the show. What we did get was a lot of what the situation has been like for Khloe. “Lamar has been having a really tough time lately, and it’s not just black and white. There’s a lot of emotional issues,” Khloe said. “It’s really scary when nothing’s really working and then you know, if you give up, no one in his life would be able to help.” At one point, Khloe was seen defending drug addiction to Bruce Jenner, calling it a disease. As for Lamar, he was acting paranoid, calling Bruce’s phone to check that Khloe was where she said she was, among other strange actions. Reality Wanted’s Jessica Blackwell stated the obvious: something isn’t right with Lamar. “I’ve been down this road way more times that I would probably like to admit,” Khloe said. She admitted that she couldn’t control Lamar. If he wanted to leave, he could leave. Hollywood Life’s Chloe Melas added that Khloe “was finally spotted without her wedding ring on Nov. 2. It was bizarre because despite all of the scrutiny surrounding her marriage, she’s always worn her ring.” Could this be the beginning of the end for the couple? Once the ring comes off….it’s a wrap.
