According to US Weekly reports: If you think Kanye West’s proposal to Kim Kardashian was over the top, just wait for the wedding. On Monday, Oct. 28, the hip hop star stopped by radio station Power 106 for an interview with Big Boy Neighborhood, in which he hinted that there’d be some big surprises — bigger than both the baseball stadium where he popped the question and Kardashian’s massive diamond ring — when he and his fiancee eventually tie the knot. Confessing to Big Boy that the couple are aiming to marry sometime “next summer,” the 36-year-old “Black Skinhead” rapper offered just one other tantalizing tease. “Two words,” he said when asked about the wedding. “Fighter jets.” “I gotta apologize to the race of males for turning it up so much,” the aspiring designer quipped of setting the bar so high for other men plotting their own proposals. Asked whether he had any pre-proposal jitters, West admitted: “I was nervous a little bit. But more about everything being on cue.” “They didn’t have the lights exactly how I wanted them to be,” he added, noting that he and the technician he’d hired had argued over how “romantic” the ambience should be. Indeed, West left no detail unattended to when he was planning the proposal. “[Kim] knew I was eventually going to ask her to marry me,” he told Big Boy. “I just had to get that ring right. I worked with four different jewelers. Three rings were made and only one actually hit the finger…I actually changed the ring the night before. That ring was less than four hours old when I gave it to her.” “I wanted to marry that girl from the first time I saw her,” West told Big Boy of the reality star, 33. “I just had to wait through a bunch of relationships to finally get my chance…It’s just patience. Earlier today, Humphries rep finally confirmed the rumors. “The ring is indeed Kris’ property that he received through his marriage dissolution,” the rep said in a statement. “He has long-since moved on.” “Kris is very much looking forward to a successful auction at Christie’s and of course to returning to the court this upcoming NBA season as a Boston Celtic.” Kris Humphries will net some pretty big bucks on Tuesday. The Lorraine Schwartz custom 16-karat sparkler is valued between $300,000-500,000 even though it was bought for Kim Kardashian for $2 million. Pretty large dropoff, wouldn’t you say? Either the Hump got ripped off like no other, or any association with Kim really does tarnish something. Do not cry for Kris Jenner, readers. Kris Jenner certainly isn’t crying for Kris Jenner. In the wake of her confirmed separation from Bruce Jenner , the reality star talked to People and said there wasn’t one thing in particular that brought the marriage to a halt. Kris Jenner: Happier Without Bruce! “I just think it has evolved,” Kris said . “I really can’t put my finger on it. We’re just happier now.” This is the same sentiment echoed by multiple members of the family. Rob Kardashian says no bad blood exists between the Jenners or Kardashians and Bruce Jenner says he’s doing great. Both sides also say there are no plans for a divorce. Kris and Bruce married in 1991, but the latter has been staying at his home in Malibu often over the past year or so. “There was definitely a shift in the way we treated each other,” Kris says. “We will always be the best of friends, because that’s the dynamic of our relationship. We definitely get along as a family and with the kids; we’re so connected in that way. We love each other.” And both will appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 as well, with various sources saying their separation will be a major plot point on the series. Kris adds she’s thankful she no longer has to keep her marital status a secret, concluding that everything is now out in the open and everyone is getting along very well. “It’s a very wonderful dynamic. It’s just not something that’s real negative and nasty. I love really hard, and the people that I have in my life that I love will always be in my life forever. It’s ultimately like one big happy family.”
