X’s handlers made the announcement via his Instagram page on Saturday (Oct. 12). “In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologizes for his cancelled shows and thanks his fans for their continued support,” read the caption of a photo of X posted on the ‘Gram. Reportedly, X was scheduled to perform with Three 6 Mafia in Memphis yesterday and at the Rolling Loud Festival in NYC today (Oct. 13). The news comes after X was AWOL from a 35th Anniversary of Def Jam party he was scheduled to perform at last week. X was released from prison, after serving time for tax evasion, in January. His last rehab stint that we know of was in 2017, when things were going so well he opted to stay an additional 30 days. Get well soon. Despite Ghost and Tommy’s best efforts to show Riq that drug game isn’t for him, Tasha decides the best way to reach him is to make him Ghost 2.0. Dre somehow once again escapes the clutches of death and kills a Power OG, Black Grimace. This week’s episode has all of the Power players making deals and backstabbing each other in the process. This guy finds himself in the most absurd situations and still manages to find a way out of them. The episode opens up with Dre popping up on a rather dingy looking Saxe who is currently on suspension from his job. Dre wants the ankle monitor. Saxe put on him taken off immediately, and Saxe agrees to do so if he has any information on Ghost or Tommy. Dre is not willing to make any more trades, so Saxe shuts down his very forceful request and keeps it moving. Dre calls Ghost after his unsuccessful encounter with Saxe. James asks him about his whereabouts and why Tommy showed up to the meeting with Jason and not him? Dre reveals that Tommy’s goons scooped him up and that Saxe put an ankle monitor on him. In order not to compromise Jason, he decided not to show up with the monitoring device on him. He suggests that they take out Saxe, but Ghost was like nah. The aspiring businessman tells him to stay away from him as long he is “chipped up,” the deal is off and issues a stern warning to Dre telling him, “I’m not playing with you, boy.” Oh, woe is Dre, what is he to do now? While prepping for a debate with his opponent Tate, Ramona hints at the idea of James running on his ticket, but Tate quickly shuts that idea down, claiming the white folks upstate wouldn’t care to see two Black men running together. He happens to overhear his white opponent, considering bringing on someone of color to battle the complaints of zero people of color working in Albany. Right on cue, Ghost walks in with Derek much to the dismay of Tate. The councilman wants to know why Derek is there, and Ghost tells him only to help him handle questions about the Queens Child Project. He also stopped by Keisha’s new home to try to convince her to flip on Tommy but was very unsuccessful. Now keep all these moves in your mind cause they will come back to haunt him. His final move was to stop at Blanca’s house to present what he has found out while doing his unauthorized investigative work. We learn that Blanca is married… to a woman, much to the delight of Saxe, his love for lesbian couples will be touched on in a few. Blanca shows the surveillance photo of Riq picking up Kanan’s ashes, adding more intrigue to the growing case against the St.Patricks. Blanca agrees to work with Saxe again cause she wants to see the “bad guys” in jail. As a token of their new partnership, he gives her the serial number for Dre’s tracking device so she can find him. Blanca wastes no time either and immediately locates Dre and questions him. She discovers from Dre that Kanan was DC in the night Ray Ray was killed, debunking Tasha’s alibi that Kanan was at the penthouse that night. Dre also drops the bombshell that he gave Riq the information where he can find Raina’s killer. Of course, this information doesn’t come cheap, Dre wants Blanca to help him get back at Saxe for what he did to his daughter and get the ankle monitor removed. She agrees to both conditions before leaving. Next on Blanca’s list is Keisha. Accompanied by a Child Protection Service’s agent, Blanca pulls over Keisha and Cash after she picked her son up from school. Threatening to throw her son into the system, Keisha is forced into signing a cooperation deal with Blanca to prevent that from happening. With Keisha now flipped, she promises to put her and Cash in witness protection. Blanca then stops by Truth to put some pressure on Ghost but doesn’t really get anything out of him, but he’s a pro and doesn’t buckle under the influence. James does learn some interesting tidbits, which he will speak to Tasha about later. Blanca notices the glass he left on the bar, and she takes it to get it tested and discovers a 50% DNA match linking Riq to Ray Ray’s murder. Tasha, of course, can’t fathom the idea of her boy in prison, hence why it’s absolutely ridiculous she is teaching him how to sell drugs. Since Keisha is scared to talk to him, Ghost tells Tasha that she needs to have a face-to-face conversation with her ex-bestie. Tasha finally arrives at Keisha’s house and catches her while she is frantically packing, preparing to go into witness protection. Keisha tries her best to convince Tasha that she will not snitch and that she only did what she did to protect her son. Plus, Keisha doesn’t want to end up like Holly did. Tasha grabs her car keys and tells her she cannot allow her to leave the house and that they will wait for Tommy to come back. Tasha catches Keisha glancing at her bag where she put the gun Tommy gave her and the two race to grab the weapon. A struggle ensues, and while this is all going on, Tommy and Cash are at the mall ring shopping. Looks like Tommy is dead set on making Keisha his boo forever and has the approval of her son. Back at the house, the struggle for gun continues, which ends with Keisha getting shot during the fight. Marjorie Harvey rang in her 55th year at a private bash at the Moon Palace Cancun Oct. 10. Steve, meanwhile, looked relaxed and happy as he emceed the party. A Mariachi band was on hand to play for the attendees as the Harveys beamed with delight. It’s been a busy week for the Duggar clan. As a matter of fact, it may have been the busiest week of the busiest year in the family’s recent history. The biggest development, of course, was the arrival of Amy Duggar’s first child . We probably don’t need to tell you that procreation is a very big deal in the Duggars’ world. In fact, from a young age, girls in the family are taught that it’s their primary reason for being. So you might imagine that all of Amy’s famous cousins would be on hand for the arrival of her first child. Or at the very least, that they would congratulate her on becoming a mother. But thus far, neither of those things has happened. Granted, the Duggars have a good excuse for missing the birth, as most of the family is currently visiting Jinger Duggar in Los Angeles for the first time. But why have they been so reluctant to reach out to Amy via social media? Some fans are convinced that the answer can be found in this photo: As you can see, Jill Duggar stopped by the hospital to visit Amy and her new first cousin once removed, Dax. “Welcome to the world Daxton Ryan King,” she captioned the photo, which was posted to her Instagram page on Thursday. “So excited for y’all! Thanks for letting me pop in earlier and snatch some baby snuggles!” She added the hashtags “hesakeeper,” “myadorablebabycousin” and “babyking.” It all seems very innocent and wholesome, and perhaps it is. But many fans believe Jill is on the outs with her family, and this is her way of subtly sticking it to them in a public forum. Along with Joy-Anna, Jill is the only member of the immediate Duggar family who didn’t make the trip to LA. She’s also rumored to be on the outs with her parents. For months now, we’ve been hearing reports that Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, is feuding with Jim Bob and Michelle. And since Jim Bob never really got along with Amy , this pic could be emblematic of a new anti-Jim Bob alliance! Or it could just be a photo of Jill meeting her cousin’s baby for the first time. If you’ve been following The Bachelor Spoilers , you know that this season’s filming is well underway. On Tuesday came the shocking news that Peter Weber was injured in a freak accident , sustaining some nasty-sounding facial cuts. But Chris Harrison is assuring fans that, despite Peter’s hospitalization, the show will go on. Chris Harrison has opened up on social media about Peter Weber’s injuries. The The Bachelor Host acknowledges that Peter “suffered a freak accident” while getting into a golf cart in Costa Rica. “He got a cut on his head,” Chris shares as a detail. This wasn’t just a scratch, either — that hospitalization was very much needed. “He did get stitches,” Chris confirms. Head wounds can be frightening, particularly because they tend to bleed a lot. Chris wants to assure fans: “but he’s 100% okay.” “And,” he adds. “Production is already back underway.” It may sound cynical to discuss the production schedule, but each day of not filming can cost thousands or even millions. But knowing that Peter is already okay to film again will do more to assure fans that he’s okay than almost anything else. Naturally, some people might have worried about The Bachelor ‘s season if the leading man has a serious facial injury. Chris wants to assure everyone that, no, Peter has not been disfigured by this fall. “He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of,” Chris promises. Chris also observed that there had been “wild” rumors about Peter circulating on Tuesday. He hopes that his words of assurance help people to calm down. Our suspicion is that some people will harbor worries until they see a fresh photo or video of Peter’s face. He has a lot of dedicated fans — and he did even before people found out that he was Hannah’s windmill bandit . You know that some people are rooting for him to find love just to see if he goes four times in a row with every lady he courts. But fans should remember that he’s a person, with charm and other qualities unrelated to windmill boning. And his face is, we’re sure, just fine. While we’re relieved to know that Peter is “100% okay,” this did give us a thought. How would contestants and the Bachelor Nation as a whole react if, halfway through a season, the leading man were suddenly and abruptly less handsome? We don’t mean a single cut that was treated immediately. We mean, like, suddenly he’s gone some Phantom of the Opera stuff happening on his face. Which contestants would quit, knowing that the eyes of America are on them? Who would stay on out of love? Who would stay on to make it look like they’re non-shallow romantics but really they just want to build their brand? To be clear, though, we’re not trying to give producers any ideas. Please do not maim reality stars, no matter how interesting the season would be. As for Peter, we’re sure that he’ll be back to boning in windmills before his stitches are even done healing, if he hasn’t already. Good for him. Matt Lauer has once again been accused of rape. This time, however, the name of the disgraced journalist’s alleged victim, and the details of his alleged misdeed, have been made public. (About two years ago, we reported on a previous rape allegation that claimed Lauer bent a staffer over a desk in his office in 2001 and violated her right then and there.) In Ronan Farrow’s new book, “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators,” the well-respected reporter interviews NBC News employee Brooke Nevils. It was her complaint about Lauer led to his firing in November 2017 . At the time, Nevils’ identity was kept anonymous at her request; this is the first time the full details of her story have been released for all to read. Nevils alleges in the book, according to Variety, that Lauer anally raped her in his hotel room at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. According to Nevils, she ran into Lauer at a bar one night. After doing six shots of vodka, she first went to Lauer’s hotel room to grab her press credentials and then later went back after the Today Show anchor invited her. Once there this second time, Nevils says, Lauer kissed her… and then pushed her onto the bed and asked if she liked anal sex. Farrow writes that Nevils said she “declined several times,” but he supposedly “just did it” and didn’t use lubricant. Nevils claims the encounter was painful and that she “bled for days.” “It was nonconsensual in the sense that I was too drunk to consent,” she reportedly tells Farrow in the book. “It was nonconsensual in that I said, multiple times, that I didn’t want to have anal sex.” Nevils admits that she and Lauer slept together a few times after they returned to New York City, explaining the situation as follows: “It was completely transactional. It was not a relationship.” At Meredith Vieira’s prompting, Nevils reported her ordeal to NBC executives in the fall of 2017. A short time later, Lauer was fired for what NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack said at that time was “a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.” Nevils went on medical leave in 2018 and was eventually paid “seven figures,” writes Farrow in his book. Lauer, whose marriage officially ended this summer , had mostly kept quiet ever since getting the boot two years ago. But he issued a lengthy statement to Variety in the wake of this rape allegation. In a new book, it is alleged that an extramarital, but consensual, sexual encounter I have previously admitted having, was in fact an assault. It is categorically false, ignores the facts, and defies common sense , he says, continuing as follows: I had an extramarital affair with Brooke Nevils in 2014. It began when she came to my hotel room very late one night in Sochi, Russia. We engaged in a variety of sexual acts. We performed oral sex on each other, we had vaginal sex, and we had anal sex. Each act was mutual and completely consensual. Referring to the accusations made in Farrow’s book, Lauer says Nevils’ side of the experience is “filled with false details intended only to create the impression this was an abusive encounter.” He adds along this line: Nothing could be further from the truth. There was absolutely nothing aggressive about that encounter. Brooke did not do or say anything to object. She certainly did not cry. She was a fully enthusiastic and willing partner. At no time did she behave in a way that made it appear she was incapable of consent. She seemed to know exactly what she wanted to do. The only concern she expressed was that someone might see her leaving my room. She embraced me at the door as she left. Lauer goes on to admit to an ongoing affair with Nevils, emphasizing that she never expressed “discomfort” of any kind. He also says Nevils never worked for him or had to answer to him in any way in their roles at NBC. Lauer claims he basically ghosted Nevils as a way to end their affair and strongly hints that she’s now saying all this stuff out of bitterness and anger — and because she wants to sell a book. In conclusion? I have never assaulted anyone or forced anyone to have sex. Period , Lauer writes. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a very private person. I had no desire to write this, but I had no choice. The details I have written about here open deep wounds for my family. But they also lead to the truth. For two years, the women with whom I had extramarital relationships have abandoned shared responsibility, and instead, shielded themselves from blame behind false allegations. They have avoided having to look a boyfriend, husband, or a child in the eye and say, “I cheated.” They have done enormous damage in the process.
