The Academy Award-winning actress took to Instagram to drop quite the sultry thirst trap, literally using the moment to explain an important health benefit. Berry was using her IG page to promote the benefits of hydration in fitness, which no doubt is a valuable practice for those trying to get fit. However, instead of simply sipping the water from her bottle, Berry dramatically lets the water run all over her body in the photo. The Instagram post is part of a larger challenge issued by the actress to promote a water challenge, asking her 5.6 million followers to join her in drinking at least eight ounces of water eight times per day. From the looks of things, Halle Berry has definitely been drinking her water and minding her business. We’re not sure exactly what’s going on with Aaron Carter these days, but whatever it is, it’s very sad, and very serious. The public became aware of the latest trouble in the singer’s life when his older brother, Nick Carter, filed for a restraining order , claiming that Aaron had threatened to murder both him and his wife, who was pregnant at the time. In an effort to share the news himself before it was reported by the tabloid media Nick took to social media, writing: “After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” he wrote. “In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. “Take care. @nickcarter we’re done for life…I haven’t seen him in four years. And I don’t intend,” Aaron responded. “All I ask is for my family to leave me alone,” he continued. “This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you and I don’t want to be around you … Stop trying to get me 5150’d before I file a harassment suit myself nick I have the $.” The conflict seemed to send Aaron into an often frightening downward spiral. First, he claimed to have been raped by his late sister . Shortly thereafter, he accused Nick of raping a 91-year-old woman . Then, in case there were any remaining doubts about the state of Aaron’s mental health, the 31-year-old revealed a large, garish face tattoo. Not surprisingly, this series of events led to rumors that Aaron is on drugs. And given the very public fashion in which he lives his life, it’s also not surprising that Aaron decided to disprove those rumors by submitting to a urine test on Instagram Live. Unfortunately, he may not have received the results he was hoping for. Aaron Carter Fails Drug Test Seemingly irate about an article published by Radar Online, Aaron captioned the video: “STOP WRITING LIES ABOUT ME AND START THROWING SOME FUCKING RESPECT ON MY NAME! @radaronline,” he wrote. “Your ‘shocking drug’ post about me was desperate and completely misleading to whatever readers you have left these days. proving you idiots wrong will NEVER get old to me. Carter then proceeded to take a drug test he had apparently purchased online and threatened Radar with legal action if the site didn’t delete its original article. In the comments, many fans pointed out that he appeared to test positive for both THC and PCP. While Carter admits to smoking weed, he says fans misinterpreted the results with regard to PCP. “For everybody out there that’s questioning the results, you f–king a–holes,” Aaron said in a second video. This time, he showed a test that was positive only for THC. Obviously many still felt that he had faked the results, but for now, let’s focus on the positive. Nick Carter welcomed a baby girl today just after wife Lauren Kitt suffered a miscarriage. And Aaron was among the first to congratulate the couple on social media: “I’ve been very hurt by the fact that my big brother has not made an effort to be part of my life for a long time. So therefore, I lashed out and said some hurtful things I did not mean to say,” Aaron tweeted. “I love my brother. Planet Hollywood was buzzing as winners from six regional qualifier events held across the United States came together in front of a packed crowd to celebrate street dance in all its forms. Throughout the evening, the greatest dancers in America showcased their best freestyle hip-hop, popping, waacking, locking, and breaking as they went head-to-head with their competitors in hopes of taking it all. Unlike more traditional competitions, you won’t find a panel of judges here; Dance Your Style is as much about charisma and connection as it is about skill. The audience was more engaged than ever as each round ended with a vote signified by displaying either a red or blue light on each individual’s bracelet. There were some seriously tough rounds that ended in tie-breakers and calls for a recount, but in the end, crowd-favorite Neguin was crowned the Red Bull Dance Your Style 2019 champion. The final performance came from Compton born and raised musician Channel Tres, who had the whole floor dancing as he performed hit singles “Topdown’ and ‘Controller.” Following his win, Neguin will advance to the World Finals taking place across the pond in Paris, France on October 12. This will serve as the accumulation of more than 50 events held in over 30 countries all over the world, bringing together the most exceptional talents from all walks of life to compete at the first-ever World Final. The rapper has been busy touring and recording, even dropping a new album just last week. So when reports surfaced that the Department of Public Safety and Corrections launched an internal investigation into some of his activities, everyone was left puzzled. Soon after, the reason why was revealed to be over a viral photo he posted to his very own Instagram. The photo in question was taken back in July during a visit to see his father at Elayn Hunt in Louisiana. The picture even had the location tagged, but that still wasn’t the issue. The problem is that one picture out of the series of photos featured Gates sitting with inmates–including incarcerated rapper C-Murder –flashing a handful of crisp hundred dollar bills to cover his face. If you’re wondering why just imagine an inmate behind bars with thousands of dollars and what people would do to take that money. As of now, there’s no word on whether or not Gates actually gave any of that money away, but that doesn’t matter, according to the state corrections department. Not only was the rapper held accountable, however, so were the employees according to The Advocate . A DOC report dated July 24, 2019, found that Deputy Warden Perry Stagg and Major Jason Linzy, both of whom oversaw Gates’ visit, deviated from standard institutional policies, resulting in multiple rule violations. The report says Stagg met Gates when he arrived at the facility and Linzy supervised the visit when the pictures were taken.In addition to bypassing body scanners, Gates was allowed to drive his car through the front gates without being searched, investigators found. And while Stagg was escorting him, Gates avoided the visiting office and never had to sign the visitor’s log acknowledging he understood facility rules. To make matters even more serious, the internal investigation found no verifiable family member of his to be in custody of the facility. Essentially, Gates was allowed access straight from his house into the prison with no record, no check-in, or any procedure followed . Nor was his previous criminal history disclosed. Because of this incident, one officer was removed and demoted and another received a written discipline. As for Gates, he’s not allowed inside a Louisiana jail ever again . Even if he gets arrested, it’s more than likely that he would serve time elsewhere as a result. First, she was out of town in Iowa for the 2019 LGBTQ Presidential Forum , her stylist was out of commission and her schedule was packed, so spending time shopping for a new dress and getting it fitted just wasn’t going to work. We sat down with Isis, the first trans model to compete on America’s Next Top Model , to talk about how she pulled this dress together last minute, her acting debut on Ava DuVernay’s limited series When They See Us and shining at the Emmys with her trans sisters. HelloBeautiful: Girl, your dress was stunning. How did you pull this off? Isis King: It was all last minute! I wanted to have something with sequins and pulled some fabric to make a new dress, but realized I didn’t have the time to make something from scratch. So I looked in my closet, pulled this dress out and I was like OK I can work with this. HB: Walk us through the process. IK: [Long story short], I knew the chiffon straps had to come off, so I added a strap to give me some support. Then I looked at the bottom of the dress and started folding and pleating it to picture what it would look like. And it looked really cool, couture-like, but I had to add some comfortable fabric underneath because with all the parties afterward, it didn’t want to be itchy all night. [Laughs] So I added some tulle, sewing each layer, which I did by hand. And there we go! HB: Wow! How long did it take? IK: Well, with the strap breaking the needles a few times and me working with fabrics I hadn’t worked with before, it took me maybe four hours altogether. HB: The response to your post was huge. Did you expect that? IK: I was really shocked because I have way before Top Model, I was a designer and over the years I have posted plenty of my designs and it didn’t get the same attention. But when I posted this dress, people were loving it! And I am like, this is great, but also, I can do way more than just altering! HB: Honestly, when I saw a picture of you and Niecy Nash [who played your mother in When They See Us ], I knew she was wearing Christian Siriano. So looking at you side-by-side, I thought you were wearing him as well! What was the atmosphere in the auditorium like when his name was called ? IK: It was electric! I stood up for both Jharrel and Billy Porter [who won Lead Actor In A Drama Series for Pose ]. The night before, I saw both of them at a party and told them to get their speeches ready. They both laughed, but here we are! It was so amazing to be there and see their wins in person. Also, to be on set with Jharrel, watching him and acting with him, especially our scenes together of him playing a teen and adult Korey Wise and me as Marci Wise , his trans sister, it was amazing to witness. He’s such a brilliant actor. HB: Well, you’re pretty good too Isis. You held your own in those scenes with Niecy and Jharrel. IK: Why thank you! I’ve been acting for 10 years before this and this was my big first role! I have been craving a role that was more than just being the pretty trans woman. I wanted to be a real character and have an opportunity to show what I’m capable of. I was clear [when I read the script] that I am ready for this. Once I got cast and got on set, I just wanted to make Ava proud. HB: There were scenes when you played Norman, Marci before her transition. Being a trans woman was that at all triggering? IK: You know what? No. When I was in the make-up, I was OK. I even asked Ava if I could have sideburns because I have never had that before. They even added hair to my lip and I bound my chest, (which gave me so much respect for those who do bind.) I was able to walk the streets of Harlem as Norman and no one knew who I was! I was in disguise, really acting. And for the first time, I was doing something different as an actress. I t wasn’t triggering, more like exhilarating. HB: I also saw pics of you with Pose actresses Mj Rodriquez and Indya Moore . What did it mean for you to be able to share that Emmys space with them like that? IK: Amazing. It was a great night to be with them and Dominique Jackson (Elektra from Pose ), we go way back to the ballroom scene. And Janet [Mock] , we’ve been girlfriends since 2011, and Angelica Ross , who’ve I known since 2009. So to be there, hug one another and celebrate us was very special. There was something very powerful to be trans women in our really cool garb and our sunkissed skin and to know that we BELONGED there. And I look forward to more of these moments when we can hold those statues, and have more stories [with trans leads] outside of Pose. That time is coming.
