Hayes Grier: Seriously Injured in Dirt Bike Accident

Hayes Grier has been hospitalized. The Internet sensation, who is one of the most popular stars in Vine, got into a serious accident yesterday while riding his dirt bike. News of the crash and of Grier’s tenuous condition was first made public in a Tweet by his brother, Nash Grier. “Just got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He’s now in the hospital,” Nash tweeted to his 5.63 million followers, adding the hashtag “#PrayForHayes” to his message. It didn’t take long for this hashtag to go viral. In follow-up a series of follow-up Tweets, Nash kept fans as informed as he could be, writing of his sibling: “He can move & talk (thank god) but he’s coughed up a lot of blood. That’s all I know. Praying he has a quick recovery. “Damn I hate hearing s–t like that on the phone, scared me to death.” About an hour later, Nash actually shared a screenshot of a text exchange (which he captioned with “Phew”) with more specific news regarding Hayes’ health. It’s unclear who was on the other side of the exchange, but it appears to be someone at the hospital and it reads as follows: “Your brother is pretty busted up right now. Luckily no major stuff. All scans came back negative for any internal bleeding. “He does have a concussion, fractured top two ribs and bruised lung on one side. He is in a lot of pain.” Hayes Grier is only 16 years old. But he sky-rocketed to Internet fame due to his Vine and YouTube videos. At he moment, Grier has 3.53 million Twitter followers… 5.3 million Instagram followers… 4.4 million Vine followers … and 848,000 YouTube subscribers. He competed on Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars . He was the second-youngest contestant to ever appear on the show and he teamed with Emma Slater to reach Week 7. A few hours after news of Grier’s crash went public, a rep for the famous teenager released the following statement to Us Weekly: Earlier today, Hayes Grier was involved in a dirt bike accident and immediately transported to a local hospital. Hayes suffered a concussion, broken rib, bruised lung, and multiple skin lacerations. Thankfully, he is OK and currently resting and recovering in the hospital surrounded by his family, where he will remain for the next few days. Justin Bieber Turns Down MASSIVE Payday, Sticks It to GOP

Unlike Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Lenny Kravitz, Justin Bieber did not perform at the Democratic National Convention this week. But that doesn’t mean the singer didn’t make his political leanings very well known. He just did so in a more subtle manner. And a more impressive manner, some might argue. According to TMZ, Bieber was offered $5 MILLION to perform at a Republican-sponsored event during last week’s Republican National Convention. The performance would not have taken place at Quicken Loans Arena, where the gathering was held, but at a venue nearby. Insiders tell TMZ that the offer was made to CAA, Bieber’s talent agency, and that a promoter got in touch with Bieber’s people to ask if Justin would sing in Cleveland for about 45 minutes. (For those doing the math, that comes out to over $100,000 per minute.) The promoter tried to assure Bieber that the concert would not be political in any way; that he would not be asked to endorse Donald Trump or discuss policy or anything of that nature. But the event would have been bankrolled by GOP donors. Moreover, Bieber would be paid up front and the donors would cover all production costs. It would have been the single biggest payday of all-time for Justin Bieber. And he turned it down. Sources tell TMZ that Bieber did ponder the offer for a bit. He’s Canadian, after all, and could have argued that he doesn’t have much of a stake in an American election. But Bieber’s manager and close friend, Scooter Braun, is a huge Hillary Clinton supporter. He even held a fundraiser for her at his Los Angeles mansion. Braun and others at CAA believed that, regardless of the impressions they were given, the event would have been “100 percent political.” Scooter reportedly tried to negotiate with the promoter who made the offer, asking, for instance, if Bieber could hang a “Black Lives Matter” banner inside the venue while he performed. But the answer was no. And it was also made clear that Bieber could not insult Trump in any way at the show. Still… Bieber was the person who made the final decision. He actually spoke with LeBron James in order to do so because Conservative insider told Justin that the famous basketball player would also be appearing in Cleveland last week; also in a non-endorsement capacity. But LeBron told Bieber this was incorrect information. He was staying far away from his adopted hometown during the Republican National Convention. In the end, with Bieber’s all-African-American band also being turned off by the possibility, Bieber turned down the invitation. Pretty cool, huh? Pretty interesting to go inside the machinations of a political campaign and how it tries to recruit celebrities to its cause… … and even cooler of Bieber to say no to such a massive payday. Like many young couples, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are selling their starter home to move into fancier digs. Unlike most other couples, however, Kiki and ‘Ye are asking for the GDP of a small nation for their sprawling Bel Air mansion. Yes, Bel Air has been attracting rappers since the Fresh Prince’s life got flip-turned upside down back in the early 90s. So it’s not hard to see why Kanye and Kim dropped $9 million for a home in the upscale neighborhood back in 2013. It is , however, hard to understand why they’re asking $20 million for the place just two years later. Granted, Kimye put a reported $2 million in renovations into the place, but if our math is right, that’s still quite a mark-up. If you feel like you hear about Kim and Kanye buying, selling, renovating and moving every other week, that’s because you do. When it comes to housing, the couple is as indecisive as Kanye choosing from his many pairs of leather sweatpants in the morning. While their first place was being renovated, Kim and Kanye bought a $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, CA, so they’ve never even lived in the revamped Bel Air crib. Instead, Kim and Kanye lived with Kris Jenner  while the Hidden Hills compound was brought up to their standards. Yesterday, Kylie Jenner posed for Galore magazine and brought tons of attention to a publication that no one has ever heard of by putting a whole lot of barely-legal flesh on display in a pictorial shot by (who else?) Terry Richardson. Even more controversial than the 18-year-old’s choice of barely-there attire, however, was a photo in which Kylie seemed to confirm that she’s sleeping with Tyga . Yes, that’s a tiger toy on Kylie’s crotch, and we’re hoping we don’t have to spell that one out for you. Kylie and 25-year-old Tyga have been banging for at least a year, and if you do the math, that’s…gross. But while the rest of the world shakes it’s damn head at the thought of this grown-ass man with a kid of his own exploiting a wealthy teenager, one important person in Kylie’s life says it’s all kosher. Yes, Kris Jenner approves of Kylie and Tyga . Even weirder, Kris reportedly has nothing but the highest praise for the dude who left his mother of his child in order to bang her teenage daughter. “There’s not much she could say since Kylie is an adult now,” a source tells People magazine. “Kris actually supports their relationship big time.”  “She thinks he is the next hip hop genius of our generation and wants to do anything she can to help him succeed.”  Apologies in advance to Tyga’s fans (you both might want to stop reading here), but if he’s a hip hop genius, then Chet Haze is the next Eminem. Jill Duggar’s pregnancy timeline has raised some interesting questions, but the math that allegedly “proves” she had sex before marriage is just wrong. The speculation began because of the most recent Jill Duggar baby bump photo, in which she holds a sign proclaiming #BabyDilly is 13 weeks and a day old. Jill married Derick Dillard June 21 in Springdale, Ark, and a little over two months later, the duo announced they are expecting their first child together. No question about it, that was extremely quick … but they didn’t conceive before they tied the knot. Heck, they didn’t even kiss, as per the courtship rules. With this documented so thoroughly on TV (which you know if you watch 19 Kids and Counting online ), why is anyone even doubting Jill on this subject? Because 13 weeks and one day along (or 93 days), but her three days ahead of the amount of time she’s been married, or 90 days from the photo date. It’s not that simple, of course, and we’ll explain why … When it comes to calculating conception, the counting begins not from the date of sexual intercourse, but the first day of one’s last normal menstrual period. In other words, like two weeks before a child is conceived. So while Jill and Derick wasted no time getting it on after they tied the knot, they totes held off. If Jill’s last period started 13 weeks and one day ago, she and Derick likely made the littlest Duggar about 11 weeks ago, at the end of June or early July. It is calculated this way because it is often difficult to pinpoint the exact date a woman conceives, but the first date of her last period is much easier to pin down. From there, tack on 40 weeks, or 280 days, and you’ve got a due date. So look for the already hashtagged #BabyDilly to come along about mid-March. Kid Gives Nonsense Test Answer, Gets An A

We’ve all been there. We’ve poured our blood, sweat, and tears into an assignment, handed it in, and received it back from the teacher with nary a comment about all of our hard work. A simple grade scribbled in the corner with absolutely zero pomp and circumstance. The little trumpet sounds in our head: WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAH. It’s like…it’s like THEY DIDN’T EVEN READ IT! One enterprising young man decided to put that theory to the test. Literally.  During the essay portion of a test about Shakespeare, the young man rambled on nearly incoherently for an entire paragraph about Sprite and words that rhyme with “time.”  He got an A-. It might be time for this professor to call it a day. At least this kid was smart about his answers and performed his little experiment on purpose. According to Radar Online: “Giving comes from the heart,” Kim Kardashian has said. And hers certainly isn’t hurting her bottom line. After the reality star was slammed recently for donating just 10% of proceeds from her eBay promotion to charity, RadarOnline.com has uncovered tax documents that reveal exactly how much she pads her own bank account with these “charity” auctions — and how other celebrities give much, much more. In August 2012, for example, Kardashian hosted a charity auction after fiancée Kanye West cleaned out her closet during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “The clothes I got rid of will be up on eBay,” she tweeted, “for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church [the church mom Kris Jenner helped found — and fund].” In the fine print, she revealed that only 10% of the proceeds would be a donation. And though Kardashian’s financial records are private, and the church, as a tax-exempt organization, does not keep public records, Radar has uncovered 2012 tax documents from the company that processes charitable giving on eBay, revealing how much Kardashian gave, and how much she kept to herself. According to the Paypal Charitable Giving Fund tax documents, Life Change Community Church received $19,975 after the auction. So how much did Kardashian keep? She’s said, “When the eBay numbers get broken down, the auction management agency that posts for me gets a percentage for all their hard work, then, eBay listing fees, end of auction fees, eBay Store fees, Paypal fees, etc, all add up to about half the sale. Then I give 10% to charity.” By her math, and the amount the charity received, the total amount of the sale could be roughly $399,500, making her final cut roughly $179,775, in comparison to the charity’s $19,975. Teen’s Selfie With Laboring Pregnant Teacher: Funny or Inappropriate?

Florida teen Malik Whiter is being criticized for posting a selfie with his pregnant teacher in the background. She was going into labor at the time: Malik, clearly, is sporting a big smile as his business lecturer is suffering through what look to be serious labor pains. He Tweeted along with the caption: “Selfie with my teacher while she having contractions.” Of the seven-months pregnant Susana Halleck, he added, “I told her to smile and she said no.” He took the photo anyway to “commemorate the moment.” The timing of the “moment” makes some Rihanna selfies look appropriate … maybe he was just really excited to meet her baby? Or for class to be over? The teacher was rushed to the hospital, but it turned out to be a false alarm and both she and the baby are fine. As for the reactions to Malik’s move? Some people got a kick out of it, while others were perplexed or even outraged that he’d choose to show his teacher in such an anguished moment. Other people in the room were tending to her, in his defense. While it may not have been the most intelligent or sensitive thing to do in that situation, he wasn’t putting her risk, and it clearly wasn’t mean-spirited. On the contrary, really. Look at that smile!
