Rosie O’Donnell is ready to walk down the aisle again. The long-time comedian confirmed on Monday that she’s engaged to Elizabeth Rooney. Speaking to People Magazine at the 15th-anniversary celebration of her organization, Rosie’s Theater Kids, in New York City, O’Donnell explained that the couple is very happy about its arrangement… … but may not get married any time too soon. “This is a long time in the future. We both decided that that would be best,” O’Donnell told this publication. Describing Rooney, who is only 33 years old, as a “wonderful woman,” the former talk show host revealed the pair has been dating from two different cities since they went public in November 2017. They’ve managed to make the long distance set-up work, however. “She lives in Boston now and I live here in New York. It’s been a long-distance thing,” Rosie said, adding: It’s been great. I think she’s a wonderful woman.” Rooney is actually an Army veteran and was also an undefeated boxer during her time of service. “She’s very much an equal, she’s very much her own person and loves what she does. She’s a pretty unbelievable young woman,” O’Donnell gushed about her fiancee. What about the 23-year old age difference between the betrothed couple? What about it?!? In the airport people say, ‘Rosie, can I have a picture of you and your daughter?’ She doesn’t seem to think it’s an issue at all. “Nobody ever does, but I do sometimes. I was already on Star Search by the time you were born.” Rosie was previously married to Michelle Rounds. She tragically died of apparent suicide in September of 2017 at age 46. They share one daughter, a five-year old named Dakota. O’Donnell also has four kids — son Parker, 23, son Blake, 18, and daughter Vivienne, 15, and 21-year-old estranged daughter Chelsea — with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter-O’Donnell.

Scott has also reportedly been “behaving more maturely” and “being a better father.” Up until that last bit, those sound like things that you’d say to praise someone’s idiot college boyfriend. But hey, progress is progress. Apparently, Scott is not the only one who is taken aback by how well this relationship is going. “Kourtney is surprised and shocked that Scott is still in a relationship with Sofia,” an insider shares. As the source says: “Kourtney never believed that Scott and Sofia had much in common.” “And,” the insider notes, Kourtney “always felt their age difference would create problems.” Scott is an elder Millennial, and Sofia is about as young as you can get without being Gen Z. Tonight, millions of Americans will tune in to see their favorite gang of guidos return to their original stomping ground as Jersey Shore Family Vacation relocates to Seaside Heights. And tomorrow morning, one of those hard-partying fist-pumpers will go before a judge and learn his fate. Yes, as you may recall, Mike Sorrentino pled guilty to tax fraud back in January. Under the terms of his plea deal, the Situation faces five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines. Sorrentino is due to be sentenced at 11:30 on Friday morning. Legal experts who have followed the case say it’s unlikely that he’ll receive the full five year maximum — but he’ll almost certainly do some jail time. Back in February of 2014, Mike and his brother Marc were indicted for failing to pay taxes on $8.9 million in earnings. They were accused of covering up their crimes by filing false tax returns in connection to Mike’s business ventures. Mike was hit with additional charges of tax evasion and structuring funds to avoid currency transaction reports in April of 2017. He pled guilty to one such charge as part of his plea deal, with the understanding that doing so would likely land him behind bars. Needless to say, Sorrentino has quite a bit working against him. But there’s also a lot that might help him in the eyes of a sentencing judge. Mike entered rehab and got sober back in 2015, and he got engaged to Lauren Pesce in April. The Sitch has been on his best behavior on the current season of Shore , and you can bet his lawyers will remind the judge of the many ways in which he’s turned his life around. In the days leading up to his sentencing Mike, has celebrated his sobriety and prayed for a beneficial resolution to his legal woes. “God grant me the serenity to stop beating myself up for not doing things perfectly,” Sorrentino tweeted this week. Sorrentino is due to marry Pesce in November, but no matter what happens tomorrow, he won’t immediately be taken into custody, so prison shouldn’t interfere with those plans. Bill Cosby is a convicted rapist and a ward of Pennsylvania. The disgraced comedian was found guilty in April 2018 of drugging and assaulting a woman named Andrea Constand and then sentenced to three to 10 years behind bars in September of 2018. “Nobody is above the law because of where they live, who they are, wealth, fame, celebrity or even philanthropy,” said the judge said during Cosby's hearing while delivering Cosby's sentence. “Any lesser sentence would take away from the seriousness of the crime,” he added. Overall, Cosby has been accused of rape by over 60 women. He deserves to be behind bars — and we have a look below for you at exactly what life is like for him there. What Kind of Institution is This? It is a maximum security state prison. Cosby is officially inmate NN7687 and has been sentenced to “total confinement.” He will need to take a sex offenders program inside the facility. 6. About the Facility… The prison was put into operation just this July and it houses 3,830 beds as well as classrooms, a barber shop and gym. Stevie Wonder Responds To Bill Cosby’s Prison Sentencing Stevie Wonder is not happy about Bill Cosby ‘s sentencing, y’all…not happy at all. On Tuesday, September 25, the famed actor was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in state prison for the 2004 drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand. Cosby, being the medically ill celebrity he is, was given a single cell to start out with, but the prison’s long-term goal is to get him into general population, slumming it like everyone else, CBS News reports. After all his rights were stripped eweh, everybody and their mama has had something to say about Cosby , taking to social media to share their thoughts on whether or not he did it, the timing of the allegations, and if he should be imprisoned at the ripe old age of 81. Stevie was leaving LAX on Tuesday, right after the actor’s sentencing, when he told TMZ that he’s praying for Cosby. The icon even spoke on how much an inspiration Cosby has been to those around him—you know, besides the drugs and sexual assault and all… “You know what? I just pray for everybody,” Stevie started out. When asked if he thought a sentencing of 3 to 10 years was fair, Stevie responded “I don’t like prisons.” When asked if he thought Cosby should’ve went to prison at all, he responded “I respect the work that he’s done and his career as an artist…I think he inspired a lot of people…and I just pray that God will give him mercy.” Fair enough? Or, should Stevie have taken a tougher stance, as Cosby was deemed a “sexually violent predator?” In an earlier report, TMZ stated that Cosby’s new digs are in a maximum security prison where he will be allowed phone calls and visitation “consistent with prison policies.” In other words, he is locked UP up .

Thornton/Getty Images La’Britney Talks About Her Experience On “Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood” And Why She Enjoys Working With Women This season of Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood introduced a new character in the form of Detroit singer La’Britney who has been propelling her career forward at a rapid pace. BOSSIP caught up with La’Britney this week in advance of the new episode of LHHH. She told us all about her hustle to succeed, the challenges of reality TV and why she feels it’s important people see her and Kash Doll working together. “I’ve been performing since I was a little girl, I grew up watching artists like Aaliyah, Beyoncé, Ciara — female artists who can sing and dance at the same time — I’ve literally been infatuated with since I was a kid,” La’Britney told BOSSIP about her inspiration to become an entertainer. “I would sit and watch and learn Aaliyah’s music videos and memorize the choreography down to every dance step. My parents had me in dance classes and vocal classes since I was 8 years old and I professionally started doing music when I was 16. I was in a girl group [Savannah] for a couple of years out of Detroit. The group ended up splitting and I continued doing music as a solo artist in Detroit and I’m still doing it now.” La’Britney told us she made the decision to move to LA this year after being offered the opportunity to do VH1’s hit show “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” The show has a reputation for putting young artists in some pretty precarious positions but La’Britney says the experience has been largely a positive one for her. “Honestly for me it’s been really easy because I’m always true to myself no matter what I’m doing, so if you watch “Love & Hip Hop” you’ll see that my storyline is literally La’Britney, a music artist from Detroit who moved to LA and is there trying to figure out how to take my career to another level,” the Detroit native told BOSSIP. “It’s been really easy for me, but the show itself is definitely based around drama, because that’s what people want to see. If everything was happy and unicorns and cotton candy I don’t think people would enjoy it as much.” “But my experience with it has actually been really dope,” La’Britney continued.” I’ve been performing all my music, for the most part I don’t have any beef with nobody. I had a little bit of beef but I took care of that.” “It’s been a dope experience learning the TV world, because this is the first time actually being on a television show. So it’s been dope learning TV and Hollywood and it’s making me want to pursue other TV and acting roles in the future. I want to play Catwoman one day.” Don’t chalk her up to being an amateur though! La’Britney has plenty of on camera presence because she’s been acting for some time back home in Detroit and even done some independent film work. “I’ve taken acting classes back in Detroit, I’ve been in a lot of local Detroit movies, I don’t know if you’ve heard of like “Buff Stuff” and “Corner Store,” those are Detroit classics. It’s on my list of goals to start this year, acting classes in Hollywood. In the meantime, La’Britney did find herself in a little bit of drama due to one particular storyline that involved Lyrica trying to check her over her being friends with A1. La’Britney told us she was about the defuse the situation pretty easily on camera and the moment turned viral for her — in a positive way! “I had just performed at a showcase and after I performed Lyrica approached me checking me about being at one of A1’s shows,” La’Britney recalls. “I had went to one of his shows and she was watching my Instagram story while I was there. She never said anything and she doesn’t follow me or anything.” “Me and A1 met through mutual friends, writers and producers, we were talking about working on music, we actually worked on a couple of songs. It’s an innocent work relationship. After I performed at the showcase, Lyrica tried to check me about being at the show and I had to let her know I don’t know who the fu** you think you talkin’ to but I go where the fu** I want to go and I do what I want to do.” “ The clip from the show went viral, everybody thought it was so funny. I got these t-shirts made that say I do what I want and LANation, that’s my fanbase, they’ve been eating them up, buying them. They’re cute lil crop tops that say ‘I do what I want.’” What’s most important to me with”Love & Hip Hop” is to maximize my exposure. Nothing is stopping her these days. La’Britney’s song “Actin’ Funny” featuring Kash Doll is doing extremely well on YouTube where it recently passed over 500K views. Like between me and my friends we pull our wardrobe together, the makeup and hair that’s all a self-made thing so to reach those milestones definitely makes me feel good. If all 500,000 of those people gave me a dollar we’d have half a million dollars.” “It was really dope — that’s my first music video to reach that many views and when I say that was all, me and Kash Doll putting that together. We’re both Detroit girls and the song’s been going crazy, especially in Detroit.” Speaking of Detroit, La’Britney recently returned home to perform with Teyana Taylor as part of the KTSE tour. “I just opened for Teyana Taylor at the KTSE tour in Detroit, so when I performed that song in Detroit I was able to see how many people love the song,” La’Britney told BOSSIP. “The whole venue was in there singing the whole song word for word and I even had Kash Doll come in and perform the song with me. It was so much girl power in the room that night, me, Teyana Taylor, Kash Doll and DaniLeigh.” Without naming names, we asked La’Britney about the music industry’s tendency to pit female artists against one another. She told us that she’s working hard to prove that’s not always the case. “It’s hard for women who make it hard,” La’Britney told BOSSIP. “Everybody that is in my life that I work with on the day to day are all women. I’m all about girl power and unity because I feel like women, we can relate to each other better than anybody. We all have periods, we can’t talk to a man about cramps and stuff like that, they don’t get it.” “To have strong women in your corner that support you and you support them, it’s a different type of power,” La’Britney continued. ” Me and Kash Doll have known each other for a long time in Detroit so us linking up was so easy. I hear a lot of horror stories about women coming together to try and do music, it be a bunch of bullisht but me and Kash Doll both support each other fully. We actually dropped another video together a month ago called “FWU”. She’s going to appear with me on “Love and Hip Hop” too — I think episode 14. This season me and her shot a video on the show as well, I just wanted to show people two girls from Detroit, we are two female music artists in this industry who support each other. You can come together and it’s not always about who is the biggest. It’s not always gotta be a competition.
